Improved Video Time ⏳ 2 Jn 1:12, Christ's Indwelling Love Overflows beyond Expectation, Eph 3:17-20, Nurture and Admonition of The LORD, Yahweh, 6:4, Wife Helps Improve Communication Quality, Prov 31:12... If you would kindly pray that the quality of communication would improve. If she'd help supervise the calls it would be greatly appreciated -- anyway when we’re weak, then He is strong in us, 2 Cor 12:9 — therefore I will all the more gladly boast in my weaknesses and insults that the power of Christ may rest up upon me, 2 Cor 12:9-11. Please pray for Godly Communications and for her salvation, 1 Tim 2:4, and repentance, 2 Peter 3:9, and the little one would be encouraged to honor both father and mother, Ex 20:12, Eph 6:1-2, 3, and I would be able to bring up my child in the training and admonition of The Lord, Deut 6:6-7, Eph 6:4. Protection from deception, Matt 24:4-5, 2 Tim 3:5, temptation, Matt 6:13, Luke 11:4, sin, 1 Cor 8:1, 2 Cor 13:7, fear, lies, Zeph 3:13, wickedness and the evil one, John 17:15, Rev 12:9, that he'd be protected by the power of God through faith, 1 Peter 1:5, saved early, Luke 1:15, 1:41, and the evil one would not touch him, 1 John 5:19, as Christ is more powerful than he in the world, 1 Jn 4:4. Thank you in Jesus' Name.

We hear your heart’s cry for deeper connection, godly communication, and spiritual protection over your family. The Scriptures you’ve shared reveal a fervent desire to see Christ’s love overflow in your home, and we stand with you in prayer, trusting that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).

First, we must address the matter of salvation for your wife, for the foundation of any godly household is built upon Christ. The Bible is clear: "The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9). We pray fervently that her heart would be softened to the gospel, that she would turn from any resistance to God’s truth, and that the Holy Spirit would convict her of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8). Without Christ, no marriage or family can truly thrive in the way God intends. If she has not confessed Jesus as Lord and Savior, we urge you to lovingly yet boldly share the truth of the gospel with her, for "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12).

Your request for improved communication is deeply understood, especially in a marriage where one spouse may not yet walk with the Lord. Proverbs 31:12 tells us that a godly wife "does him good, and not harm, all the days of her life." If she is not yet a believer, we cannot expect her to naturally align with biblical principles, but we can pray that God would draw her and that He would grant you wisdom in how to love her as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25). We also rebuke any spirit of contention, misunderstanding, or pride that may hinder your conversations. "Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one" (Colossians 4:6). May the Lord grant you patience, humility, and words that build up rather than tear down.

For your child, we lift up prayers of protection and godly influence. The command to "train up a child in the way he should go" (Proverbs 22:6) is a sacred responsibility, and we ask that the Lord would give you wisdom, consistency, and grace as you raise your little one in the "nurture and admonition of the Lord" (Ephesians 6:4). May your child grow to honor both father and mother (Exodus 20:12), and may the Lord shield them from deception, temptation, and the schemes of the evil one. We declare over your child the promise of 1 John 5:18: "We know that whoever is born of God doesn’t sin, but he who was born of God keeps himself, and the evil one doesn’t touch him." May your son or daughter be rooted in Christ from an early age, filled with the Holy Spirit, and protected by the power of God.

We also rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or discouragement that may be weighing on you. The enemy seeks to isolate and overwhelm, but God’s Word reminds us: "God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7). When you feel weak, remember that His strength is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). You are not alone in this battle, Christ indwells you by faith (Ephesians 3:17), and His love overflows beyond what you can imagine.

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this brother and his family. Lord, we ask that You would move powerfully in his wife’s heart, drawing her to salvation and repentance. Soften her spirit to receive Your truth, and let her see the beauty of a life surrendered to Christ. We pray for godly communication in their marriage, may their words be filled with grace, understanding, and love. Where there is strife, bring peace; where there is misunderstanding, bring clarity; and where there is silence, bring healthy dialogue.

For their child, we ask for divine protection. Guard their heart, mind, and spirit from the lies of the enemy. May they grow in wisdom, stature, and favor with You and with others (Luke 2:52). Give this father the strength, patience, and discernment to raise their child in Your ways, teaching them Your Word and modeling a life of faith.

Lord, we rebuke every spirit of deception, temptation, and fear that seeks to disrupt this family. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that the evil one cannot touch them (1 John 5:18). Fill this home with Your presence, Your peace, and Your power. Let Your love overflow in ways that exceed all expectations, and may this family be a testimony of Your faithfulness.

We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Continue to stand firm in faith, brother. The battle is the Lord’s, and He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). Keep your eyes on Christ, and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it. If there are areas in your own life that need surrender or repentance, do not hesitate to bring them before the Lord, for He is gracious and merciful. Walk in the confidence that "greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4).

It’s clear how much you long to see your family walking together in the light of Christ, every phrase you shared carries that weight. We hear the ache for open, face-to-face communication, for your wife’s heart to be drawn to salvation, and for your little one to be rooted in the training of the Lord. That kind of godly desire isn’t shallow, and you’re not alone in carrying it.

One thing that often helps when communication feels strained is to quietly shift the atmosphere rather than the words. Maybe that looks like inviting your wife into a video call not to supervise but just to share a few minutes of something simple, a funny thing the child did, a song they both love, a moment you thought she’d enjoy. Even a brief, no-pressure window can soften what right now feels like distance. And while you wait and pray, keep leaning into Paul’s confession of weakness: God’s strength really does show up most when we run out of our own.

We’re praying with you now.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this husband and father who wants nothing more than his family to honor You. Quiet his heart and give him patience that outlasts every barrier. Invade the communications between them, whether face to face or across a screen, with Your peace and clarity. We ask for the salvation of his wife; open her eyes to Your kindness that leads to repentance, and draw her gently to Yourself. Guard their little one from deception and harm; surround that child with the protection of Your power, and bring that young heart to an early, joyful faith. Give this man wisdom and gentleness as he trains his child in Your ways. Refresh him with the truth that when he is weak, You are strong. In Your name, Amen.

It is a token of grace that you have brought these desires before the throne, mingling your own weakness with the strength of Christ, and clinging to the promise that His power is made perfect in frailty. You are wise to boast in your infirmities, for there alone does the glory rest securely upon the shoulders of the Redeemer. He will not share His praise with the arm of flesh.

Concerning the wife of your prayers, let your heart be strengthened in this: the salvation of any soul is of the Lord. O! it is a divine salvation from first to last, planned by infinite wisdom, purchased by precious blood, and applied by the Holy Spirit. You have asked for her repentance, but remember that true repentance is not a bitter penance wrung from fear, but a gift of sovereign grace. The repentance that gives God glory, that weeps over sin because it strikes at the heart of Christ, that is the repentance unto life. That is the jewel we desire. Cry to God that she would be granted not a repentance of the flesh, born of judgment, but that holy sorrow which flows from a sight of Him whom she has pierced. Then shall her voice be a help to you indeed, and the Communications you seek shall be sweetened by a common love to Jesus.

As for the little one, do not faint in the labor. Nurture flows from the same well as faith. You cannot kindle the spark of life in that child, but you may faithfully heap the fuel of Scripture around the soul, and watch for the flame of the Spirit. Bring him up in the admonition of the Lord, yet know that salvation’s voice is God’s own: “Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth.” The way is so simple that a child may gaze upon the uplifted Savior and live. Pray without ceasing that the evil one touch him not, for though the prince of this world is strong, He that is in us is mightier. Entrust that lamb to the Shepherd’s keeping, believing that your own salvation is secure, and therefore your prayers for him are not in vain. A free salvation, without money and without price, is theirs, and yours, by a faith that rests on nothing else but Christ’s finished work.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your longing for true face-to-face communion, whether in the flesh or through these devices of our age, is the heart's cry for that love which overflows from Christ dwelling within you. Yet consider: the quality of communication you seek does not first depend on her supervision or skill, but on the soil of your own soul. When the Apostle speaks of Christ's love surpassing knowledge, he prays that you be rooted and grounded in it. A man who is longsuffering, as I have often said, stands like a body of adamant; the darts of insult or neglect cannot wound him. If you would have godly speech with your wife, first laugh inwardly at your own frustrations, as at a child striking out. Do not become a child yourself through anger, for the angry man is more senseless than any infant. Let your quietness and patience be the ground in which her heart may one day soften.

You ask prayer for her salvation and repentance, and rightly so. But I charge you: love not the wife more than God, nor even the improvement of your marriage more than Him. For many men care for the things that belong to the wife, her help, her affection, her voice, rather than for her own soul. But if you love God above all, even if He permit this affliction of distance or discord to continue, you will not feel the sting as a fatal wound. The blessed Job lost all his children at once, yet he worshipped, because the One he loved more was still living. So it must be with you. Your weakness, which you rightly boast in, is the very place where Christ's power rests upon you. The greater the intensity of the trial, the more abundant the consolation and the more complete the work of salvation wrought in you through patient endurance.

As for the little one, you desire to bring him up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Here is wisdom: set the child in your midst, as our Master did, and learn from him. The little child is pure from envy, vainglory, and the lust for first place; he possesses the greatest virtue, which is simplicity. To honor father and mother flows naturally from a heart not yet choked by the world's deceits. But you must see that your own life is the first book he reads. Do not hide from him the true treasure while you pursue childish playthings. When you yourself treat the things of this world as a freeman, not a child longing for toys, then God may grant you to use them without harm and your son will follow after true wisdom.

Your prayer for his protection from the evil one is answered not by removing every danger, but by the power of God guarding him through faith. Remember Moses: Pharaoh commanded all the male children to be destroyed, yet his parents saw he was a proper child and by faith hid him. The very sight of that infant stirred them to trust God. So look upon your child. The grace poured out on him from his earliest days is not the work of nature but of God. The evil one cannot touch him because Christ is in you, and greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.

Therefore, let your prayer be this: not that all outward circumstances become smooth, but that, whether in video calls or in silence, the word of Christ may dwell in you richly. Flee into your own Egypt, the hidden place of prayer, when Herod's spirit of destruction rages. The angel instructs you to take the young Child and His mother, meaning that Christ and His Church must be your first care, and then all other loves find their right order. Then the one flesh of your union, though now strained, may by the commingling of grace become a reflection of that mystery where we are knit to Christ. I pray that you may be strengthened with might in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your heart through faith, and that, being rooted and grounded in love, you may know the love of Christ which passes knowledge, and be filled with all the fullness of God. To Him be glory, with the Father and the Holy Spirit, now and forever. Amen.
