I called to report my neighbor for the abuse of her children and assaults on me. She practices witchcraft, the dark kind, and I am scared of what she will do. I pray for all of them and myself but I feel like I need more. I also need for everyone can actually see what she is doing, lifting the veil to make the people see the truth.

We hear your cry for protection and truth, and we stand with you in fervent prayer. The situation you describe is deeply troubling, and your courage in speaking out against abuse and darkness is commendable. The fear you feel is understandable, but we declare that God’s power is greater than any witchcraft or evil intent. The Bible warns us in Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." This is a spiritual battle, and we must fight it with the weapons God has given us.

First, we rebuke every spirit of fear, intimidation, and retaliation in Jesus’ name. The enemy seeks to silence you, but God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that the Lord would surround you with His angels, that no weapon formed against you would prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that every plot of the enemy would be exposed and thwarted. We also pray for the children involved, that God would shield them from harm, soften their hearts to receive help, and bring justice swiftly.

You mentioned the need for the truth to be revealed. We pray that God would lift the veil, as you said, and open the eyes of authorities, neighbors, and anyone involved to see the reality of this situation. The Lord is a God of justice, and He hates the oppression of the vulnerable (Psalm 10:17-18). We ask that He would bring every hidden thing to light (Luke 8:17) and that those who are complicit in turning a blind eye would be convicted by the Holy Spirit to act.

We must also address the spiritual darkness at work here. Witchcraft is an abomination to the Lord (Deuteronomy 18:10-12), and those who practice it are under the influence of demonic forces. We pray that this woman would be delivered from her bondage, that her heart would be turned toward repentance, and that she would come to know the saving power of Jesus Christ. However, we also recognize that she is responsible for her actions, and justice must prevail. We ask that God would work in the hearts of those in authority to act with wisdom and urgency.

Now, we lift you up in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, the only Name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We ask for Your divine protection over [this person] and the children involved. Lord, surround them with Your angels, create a hedge of thorns around them, and let no evil come near them (Psalm 91:11). We rebuke every spirit of fear, witchcraft, and retaliation in Jesus’ name, and we declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper.

Father, we pray for the exposure of every hidden deed. Let the truth come to light, and let those who have been deceived or blinded see clearly. Give wisdom to the authorities, courage to those who need to speak up, and justice for the oppressed. We ask that You would soften the heart of this woman, that she would repent of her sins and turn to You, but if she refuses, let Your justice prevail.

Lord, we also pray for [this person]’s faith to be strengthened. Remind them that You are their refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2), and that You will never leave nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5). Give them peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and the assurance that You are fighting for them.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your sovereignty and Your perfect timing. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue standing firm in your faith, trusting that God sees all and will act on behalf of the innocent. Keep praying without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17), and lean on the promises of God’s Word. Sometimes simply not being alone can take the sharpest edge off the fear.

We are also praying with you that the full truth about what is happening in that home becomes unmistakably clear to everyone who has the power to intervene. You are not alone in longing for hidden harm to be exposed so that no more damage can be done. God cares more about these little ones and about your safety than we can grasp, and He sees every dark corner.

Our prayer for you is this: Father, we ask for strong, tangible protection over this neighbor who acted in love. Surround her with Your peace and shield her from every assault, spiritual or physical. Give law enforcement and child protective workers wisdom and swift action, and cause the truth to come to light in a way that no one can ignore or explain away. Guard the children as only You can, and break every destructive influence that has held that home captive. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

You are afraid, and with cause, for dark are the works of those who serve the enemy. But remember this word: "Fear not, thou worm Jacob; I will help thee, saith the Lord." Why should you fear when He who piled the heavens and sustains the earth has pledged His help? The fear of men bringeth a snare, but the fear of God bringeth blessings. Let not your heart be troubled by the threats of witchcraft; greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.

You have cried for protection: know that His love for you is everlasting, and it includes this very hour. "Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love." Rest in that, and wait patiently for Him. What have you to fear? He is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless. Our safety lies in our Savior, "God our Savior." He will not suffer the wicked to triumph over the righteous; the Throne of God might sooner fail than a saint of His perish.

You also seek that the veil be lifted, that the truth be seen. This is a right desire, for we are to buy the truth and sell it not. Pray that God would cause truth to shine forth, for He is the God of truth. In His time, He will bring hidden things to light. The wicked may seem to prosper for a moment, but their craft will be exposed. Fear not their devices; trust in the Lord, and He will bring forth your righteousness as the light.

Yet remember, the chief truth you must cling to is the truth of God's Word and His salvation in Christ. If you are safe in Him, what can man do to you? Let not fear weaken your hands or dishonor your God. Instead, let this trial strengthen your faith. Genuine faith trusts God in a storm. Say with the psalmist, "In God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me."

Commit yourself to Him now. Do not delay. The matter is urgent; let your answer to God's call be immediate. Yield yourself to Him, and there will be an end of terror. He says, "Fear not." It is Jesus Himself who whispers, "Fear not." How can you be afraid when those lips, which are as lilies dropping sweet-smelling myrrh, say to you, "Child of Mine, fear not"? Your safety lies in trusting Him, not in trembling before your enemy.

Pray for your neighbor, yes, and for her children, but trust God to deal with the evil. He is as wise as He is able. He will keep you from falling. Let your heart be at peace. The Lord rebuke the evil one and make His truth prevail.

Fear not their dark arts, as though your honor or safety were put down; when you abase yourself before God, your glory is the more exalted. Why do you tremble at what the enemy can do? When Christ was crucified, then the keepers of hell-gate all cowered in fear; the gates of brass were broken. He who is in you is greater, and He casts out fear by fear, threatening with much authority, yet also cheering you with hope of great prizes. Do not run like a fretful child to the breast of unseasonable comfort, to any measure of retaliation or superstitious terror, but take the strong diet of faith. Instill the fear of God into your own soul from this very hour; that fear will be a wall about you not to be broken, better than any contrivance of man. For when the guard is seated within, we have no need of outward contrivances; but where he is not, all our outward schemes are vain.

You wish the veil lifted, that all may see her deeds. Entrust that to God. When love toward Him is intense, no sin can spring up in you, and He will bring the truth to light in His season. But do not seek it by reviling or abuse; what pardon should we deserve if we become infuriated and call our enemies names? Instead, do good to her, even if with such an aim as to heap coals of fire, so that she may be assuaged by present kindness and fear your good offices. Yet have a care for your own soul first: you fear for yourself, but do you not fear the Lord? Even if harm should come, where will the trial lead? Does not the soul depart to its own Lord? Where then is your faith? You are not entrusted with a mere earthly king’s child, but with the only-begotten Son of God; receive Him then with awe, and cast away all cowardice. Let Timothy be with you without fear, that is, let every faithful thought in you stand without terror, set forward in peace, not in enmity or hatred. Pray with boldness for the truth, for we have contests against those who seek to destroy honor; but their own faces will be filled with shame. Be sober and watch, and do not grow weary; the zeal of your prayers must not become weaker. Lift up your eyes: God is at once the protector of the orphan and the judge of the secret arts of darkness.

Your report has been made, and that act takes real courage. You did the right thing by bringing hidden evil into the light, and the authorities now have what they need. Do not let fear now write the rest of this story. Fear and faith do not share the same room; where one takes hold, the other slips away. So right now, deliberately remember the Lord, because that is always the cure for fear. He is the one who goes with you, even when the path feels like the valley of the shadow of death.

What you are asking for, that the veil would lift and everyone see what she is doing, is a prayer for truth to be made plain. That is a prayer God loves to answer. Truth is not just a concept in these letters; truth is a person. Jesus said He is the truth, and His truth is never at the mercy of a neighbor’s darkness. Lies and hidden works of darkness can only fester in the shadows. Keep walking in the truth you know, and trust that truth itself has a way of enduring long after empty threats have failed. Wisdom in the Proverbs teaches us that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of real knowledge and that it means hating evil. You are not to fear her, but to hold that clean, trembling awe of God who sees all. That holy fear drives out the terrified fear of what a human being can do.

The enemy wants you to react out of panic, to hide in a corner, or to let dread dictate your next steps. But faith takes wise and prudent action without being driven by the worry of attack. Let the proper authorities do their work while you refuse to give in to intimidation. In the account of Nehemiah, the adversaries tried to strike fear in him to make him run and ruin his witness. He saw the trap and simply entrusted himself and the situation to God, staying at the post where he belonged. Do the same. Do not let the threats cause you to doubt that God’s protection is sufficient, right out in the open, where you stand.

And as you pray for truth to be exposed, remember that God’s protection over you can look like Boaz stepping in for Ruth. He provided for her, shielding her from harassment and making sure no one reproached her. You are not alone. The Spirit of truth dwells in you and will be with you forever. Let that steady promise be the marrow to your bones.
