You ask for protection, peace, and provision, and these are good things to seek from the Lord. Yet too often when we pray for provision, we unknowingly ask for more than necessity and light a flame of wantonness. The Apostle does not forbid making provision for the flesh, but making provision to fulfill its lusts. There is a care for the body that serves health, and there is a care that feeds softness and pride. Call to mind the gluttonous, those effeminate in dress, those living a relaxed life, and see that they do everything not for health but to kindle desire. Prune away all those things, and seek one thing only, to have your flesh in health. Spend all your industry on the care of spiritual things. Then you will not be weighed down with manifold desires. The present life is a sleep, and the things in it no different from dreams. Those who grow rich in a dream are convicted at daybreak of having been rich to no purpose. In this case, even before the final day, those dreams often fly away. If your car repairs are covered and you pay only the deductible, give thanks with moderation, treating it as provision for necessity, not an opening to luxury.

But no man is willing to give heed to the Scriptures. If we did give heed, we should not be entangled by deceit, nor should we fear what the day brings. You pray for your children to have a safe, successful school year. True safety is to keep oneself in the light. He who sees the light of this world is in safety; much more he who is with Christ, if he separate not himself from Him. The strong soldier not only helps himself but protects his comrade and frees him from the malice of the enemy. Yet how can you be a strong soldier for your children if you do not first give heed to the Scriptures, drawing them out of dangers?

You ask for a safe, secure work environment and a promotion according to God’s perfect will. But remember how the Lord set forth the days of Noah: they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the flood came and took all away. Paul says, “When they shall speak of peace and safety, then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child.” These things do not mean ignorance on the Lord’s part; they show His coming will be sudden and unexpected, when the greater part are living in luxury and insensibility. If you seek a secure workplace, be sure you do not mean a place of spiritual peace that lulls you into thinking the world is not under judgment. Work diligently, seek promotion honestly, but fix your hope not on these temporary dignities which vanish like dreams. He who is conscious of no evil shall suffer nothing dreadful. Only he that doeth evil shall suffer. Commit your way to God and let His will, not the lust for advancement, be your peace. Silence from heaven is not ignorance; His timing is perfect, even when it seems slow to our impatient hearts.

I want you to know that your whole family will be lifted up in prayer here. We are one body, and when a member brings a need, we carry it together. So we are asking the Lord for His protection, His peace, and His provision over you and your children right now.

The deepest security any of us can have is found not in circumstances but in the one provision God has made for our souls. Everything else can shift, but the forgiveness and life we have through His Son remain unshakable. That same Son who was rejected even by His own earthly family draws us into a new household where the bonds run deeper than blood. Whatever challenges you face with relatives or people around you, remember you belong to a family that cannot be broken.

Regarding the car repairs and finances, I have been reminded over the years how easily material things can grab hold of our hearts. I once drove a brand-new vehicle off a lot and before I even got it home, some careless person put a ding in the door. I was furious, but it taught me that shiny metal and leather will all pass away. A car is a tool, not a treasure. So we will pray that the warranty covers the cost completely, and that you will only need to cover the deductible. But more than that, we pray you will sense the Lord's peace even if the answer does not come packaged the way we hope. He owns the cattle on a thousand hills, and He will not forget your need.

I also know what it is to see financial pressure up close. Scripture reminds us that sometimes our distress is tied to where we have placed our trust. Putting God first with the firstfruits of what we receive unlocks a storehouse of His care. So as you seek His help with the bills, check your heart: are you honoring Him with what you already have? It is not about paying for a blessing; it is about acknowledging that every good thing comes from His hand.

The desire for a promotion is natural, but remember that promotion does not come from the east, the west, or the south. It comes from the Lord. You do not need to push yourself forward or make your own noise. Love does not envy, does not boast, does not seek its own way. Trust His timing instead of trying to force a door open. He sees your diligence, and He also knows what position will best shape your character. We will ask Him to give you a safe, secure work environment and to grant the promotion only if it aligns with His perfect will. Then, whether you receive that title or not, you can rest knowing you are exactly where He wants you.

For your children, we will pray for their safety and success this school year. But remember that the greatest success is not found in grades or popularity; it is found in belonging to the family of God. May the Spirit bear witness to their hearts of the truth that sets them free, and may they walk through those hallways with a confidence that comes from above.

We are standing with you. When you rejoice, we will rejoice with you; when you carry a heavy load, we will help shoulder it. The same Kinsman Redeemer who bought back lost inheritances for His people has purchased you and your household. You are not alone.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past days. It has been our joy to lift you, your children, and your needs before our Heavenly Father, asking for His divine protection, peace, and provision to surround your family like a shield. We have specifically prayed over your finances, trusting that God would move in the details of your car repairs so that your extended warranty would cover what He has purposed, leaving only the deductible for you to manage. We have asked the Lord to watch over your children as they navigate this school year, praying for safety, wisdom, and success in all their endeavors.

We have also interceded for your work environment, asking God to make it a place of safety and security, where His favor rests upon you. We have prayed that He would open the door to the promotion you’ve been seeking, aligning it with His perfect will and timing. As we continue to trust Him together, we encourage you to share how God is moving in your situation. If you’ve seen His hand at work—whether in answered prayers, unexpected blessings, or even small steps of provision—we would love to celebrate with you and offer praise to Him.

If, however, your heart is still waiting and the answers haven’t yet become clear, please don’t hesitate to post this request again. We are here to stand with you in faith, believing that God hears and answers according to His wisdom and love. May He draw near to you in this season, filling you with His peace as you seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray all these things in Jesus’ Name.
