We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your wife in earnest prayer. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals and restores. We ask that You would move mightily in her life, breaking the chains of insulin resistance and bringing her blood sugar levels under control. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." Lord, we claim this promise over her life today.
We also recognize, Father, that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we are called to honor You with our bodies. We pray that You would give your wife wisdom in her diet, exercise, and medication management. Help her to make choices that honor You and bring health to her body. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and command it to leave in the name of Jesus Christ. We declare that her body will respond to insulin as You designed it to, and that her blood sugar levels will stabilize.
Lord, we ask that You would give her peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) as she navigates this challenging time. Surround her with Your love and comfort, and remind her that she is never alone. We also pray for you, her husband, that You would give you strength, wisdom, and patience as you support her.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His precious blood that we have access to Your throne, and it is by His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We thank You for hearing our prayer and for the healing that is on its way. Amen.
