We hear the deep anguish and heaviness in your cry and we are lifting you up before the Father together right now. We want you to know you are not alone, you are seen, you are deeply loved, and your life is precious to God. We gently but firmly rebuke the lie that there is no other way except to take your life. That is not the truth and it is not God's will for you. The enemy wants you to believe you are without hope, but God says otherwise. Your life belongs to Him and He has purpose for you even in this overwhelming pain.
The Word reminds us that Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. When your heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I Psalm 61:2. We cling to His promise when He says Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. And For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11. Jesus Himself invites you Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28.
You addressed your prayer to Lord God and Father God, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and find salvation and true peace. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are forgiven, made new, and brought near to God. If you have not yet called upon His name, we urge you to turn to Jesus now, confess your need for Him, and receive His forgiveness, His presence, and His life. He does not turn away anyone who comes to Him.
We pray together for you now. Father God, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this precious life to You. You see the weight, the sorrow, and the feeling that it is way too much. We ask You to wrap Your arms of love around this dear one right now, to quiet the voice of despair and let Your voice of hope be heard. Lord, forgive sins, heal the broken heart, and breathe new strength where there is exhaustion. We rebuke the spirit of death and hopelessness and we declare Your truth that this life is Yours, created with purpose and worth. Pour out Your peace that surpasses understanding, guard heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and show a clear next step. Lead this dear one to reach out today to a trusted pastor, a godly counselor, family, or a trusted friend, and to seek help immediately if these thoughts grow stronger. Provide safe community, wise counsel, and tangible help. Let Your presence be felt and let Your hope rise. The very cry you have breathed, I am sorry, is itself heard by a God who delights in mercy. To feel that there is no other way and that it is way too much is a heavy and dark burden, and the Lord sees the extremity in which you now stand. Yet hear what His Word declares, for your extremity may be God's opportunity.
Scripture says, The Lord takes pleasure in them that fear Him, in those that hope in His mercy. To hope in His mercy seems but a very small evidence of grace, and yet it is a very sure sign. Even a trembling hope cast upon His mercy is not despised by Him. He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds. A bruised reed shall He not break, and the smoking flax shall He not quench. Though you feel bruised and almost quenched, He will not break you.
You say there is no hope, but that word goes beyond the truth of God. God is the sinner's hope and He is not lost, so the word of despair is not warranted. No man has a just pretense to perish in despair, for despair casts dishonor upon God's mercy, and His mercy endures forever. The Lord God merciful and gracious delights in mercy. His rod of mercy is ever outstretched, while His sword of justice is held back, for He is slow to anger and plenteous in mercy because He is infinitely good.
Do not measure God's power and grace by your own weariness. Hopelessness in self we may all come to, but hopelessness in God is a sin from which we would urge you to escape. He is the God of Hope. This very hour He sends this word to you, Come now and let us reason together, saith the Lord. Though your sins be as scarlet, there is forgiveness with Him, and that forgiveness may be had now, swifter than the lightning flash, by looking to Jesus Christ His Son. For while the lamp holds out to burn, the vilest sinner may return. The worse you feel yourself to be, the more shall God be honored in your salvation, for He will have a name for mercy.
Such delays as keep you from His mercy are not God's delays, but ours. He has laid mercy by in covenant, ordered in all things and sure, in the person of Christ, everything that your necessity can require. He goes before you with mercy to give you the very tenderness of heart and repentance you long to feel, to help you to have done with self and to begin with Him.
Therefore I earnestly plead with you, do not remain alone with these thoughts. While you live, you may hope, and while you hope, you live. Turn your hope, though it be small and trembling, upon the tender mercy of God in Christ. Believe right now in Jesus Christ, God's Son, and you have forgiveness now. Cry to Him as you are, broken and sorry, and He will not cast you out.
And as you cry to Him, reach at once to those He has placed near you for help. Tell a trusted pastor, a family member, a friend, a doctor, or another faithful soul this very hour that you are feeling this way and need to be with someone. May He lift you from this pit and set your feet upon the Rock, and give you to hope in His mercy and to find that hope purifies and sustains. We will pray that He keeps you, heals you, and lets you see His tender mercy in Christ Jesus, in whom there is life and pardon and hope still.

Lord God, I'm sorry if my prayers lately have had a lot of difficult questions and stumbling in my faith. There are a lot of things I don't know about the Father, Jesus, even as much as You reveal to me I know, and as much as is withheld from me I am completely blind to. That is a good thing...
