We rejoice with you as you confess Jesus Christ, for there is power and hope in His name and we are encouraged by your open declaration of faith.
We lift up you, your loved one whose name was redacted, and your youngest before the throne of grace together, asking our Father to cover each of you with His mercy, protection, and wisdom. We pray that whatever study you are undertaking, even as you read historical autobiographies, the Lord would give you discernment to test all things and hold fast to what is true, and that your hearts would be drawn ever closer to Him.
We thank God that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only through Him that we are saved. As it is written, if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9, and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. Jesus Himself said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. We are thankful you have embraced this truth and we encourage you to continue to walk in it daily.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You for this one who confesses You and we ask You to strengthen their faith and make it steadfast. Lord, we lift up this family to You, each one by name as You know them, and we ask for Your hand of protection, provision, and peace upon them. Guard the youngest in innocence and truth and lead them in Your ways from an early age, for You have said, Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it Proverbs 22:6. Give wisdom to the parent as they lead and teach, that they may do so with patience and godly example.
We ask that You help them in their study and in all learning, that they would set their minds on things above and grow in the knowledge of Your Word. Let Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path Psalm 119:105. If there is any anxiety or burden upon their hearts concerning their loved ones or their studies, we pray they would cast all their worries upon You, because You care for them 1 Peter 5:7, and that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their hearts and their thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7.
We commit this family to You, trusting that You who began a good work in them will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ Philippians 1:6. Help them to continue confessing Christ boldly, to seek You first, and to trust in You with all their heart and not lean on their own understanding, and in all their ways acknowledge You, that You may direct their paths Proverbs 3:5-6. It is a good and needful thing that you would confess Jesus Christ and ask for help for yourself and for others. To confess Him is more than to profess Him with easy words, it is to own Him when circumstances make that confession a deed of courage, and you are right to desire to do so in the place where the Lord has set you, whether in the study or in the home, each according to the station God has given.
Hear the comfort of the gospel for your case. You feel your need and the need of those you love, the one whose name you have withheld and the youngest among you, and you ask where help is to be found. If the Lord does not help you, where can you find help. No fellow creature can forgive sin or give a new heart, but Jesus Christ has all fullness dwelling in Himself and is a perfect Saviour to begin the work and to carry it on and to finish it. He does not ask you to help Him at the first, but is able to begin with you just where you are and to lift you from all hardness of heart and blackness of soul.
Remember also who this Saviour is. He is bone of our bone and flesh of our flesh, made like unto His brethren, and He now holds the keys of death and hell. Wherever separate spirits are, Christ is King, and over the iron gate through which men pass His authority is paramount. He is tender even now, more tender if it were possible than when on earth, and He sympathizes with poor sinners who come to Him. He was bound that His people might be free. He was made sin for us that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him, and when He died then we lived.
Do not look to any other mode of salvation. Whoever looks to Christ on the cross and depends on Him is forgiven, rescued, saved. Trust Christ and He will save you. If you trust Him you may be sure that your sins were laid on Him and He was punished in your place, and therefore the very justice of God requires that you should not be punished too. Bring to Him nothing but your need. Breathe this prayer, God be merciful to me a sinner, through the blood of Christ, and He will hear.
