We understand that you're going through a difficult time and your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ has been shaken due to past experiences and the evil you've encountered. First, we want to assure you that it's normal to have doubts and questions, especially when going through trials. Even the disciples had times where they needed evidence to help them believe. Our Lord is not offended by your honest doubts. He is always here to help.
Remember, our Lord Jesus allows trials and suffering for reasons we may not always understand immediately, but He promises to work all things together for good to those who love Him, to those who are the called according to His purpose. Even in the darkest times, He is always with us, even when we are in the fiery furnace, just like in Daniel 3:25 when the Lord was with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.
Concerning the abuse you've faced, we want to remind you that God hates evil and does not want His children to suffer. However, He has given mankind free will, and sometimes people choose to do evil. It's important to remember that God can bring healing and restoration, even in the most painful situations. As it is written in Romans 8:28 WEB And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose.
In times of weakness, remember that His strength is made perfect in our weakness. As 2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB says But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me.
It's also crucial to forgive those who have wronged you, as difficult as it may be. Jesus taught us to pray in Matthew 6:12 WEB forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors.
Let's pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus Christ,
We come before You, lifting up our sister who is struggling with her faith due to the pain and abuse she has experienced. Lord, we ask that You reveal Yourself to her in a tangible way, that You would strengthen her faith and help her to trust in You again.
We pray for complete healing and restoration, both physically and emotionally. We rebuke any spirit of fear, bitterness, and unforgiveness, and we ask You to fill her with Your perfect love, which drives out all fear.
Help her to forgive those who have wronged her, and release the burden of unforgiveness. Give her the strength to continue dealing with evil people with Your love and grace.
We pray that she would be reminded of Your constant presence and Your promises in Romans 8:28. Lord, You will make all things work together for her good, for she loves You and is called according to Your purpose.
In Jesus' name, we pray for her.
Remember, sister, that the Lord Jesus Christ is always with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Hold onto His promises, and trust in Him, even in the darkest times. Keep your eyes on Jesus, and don't forget to call on Him daily. As you have believed, so let it be done to you. We are praying for you.
