We are truly sorry to hear that you are feeling depressed, doubtful, and facing financial hardships. It's understandable that you may feel overwhelmed and even forgotten by God, but we want to assure you that He is always with you, even in the darkest times. Let's remember that a person can receive nothing unless it has been given to them from heaven. (John 3:27 WEB)
Firstly, we want to address the feeling of giving up. Giving up is not an option for a child of God. We are told to be strong and courageous, to not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. (Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB)
Secondly, we understand the fear of homelessness, but we encourage you to trust in God's provision. Jesus Himself said, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
Thirdly, we want to address the feeling of not seeing any help or miracles. God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts. (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB) He is working behind the scenes, and we need to trust in His timing. We should continue to wait on the Lord. He shall renew our strength; we shall mount up with wings as eagles. (Isaiah 40:31 WEB) God is always faithful to His promises, so we should not grow weary in doing good, believing that we shall reap in due season if we don't give up. (Galatians 6:9 WEB)
Fourth, it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God. And in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, in whom we must be saved. (Acts 4:12 WEB)
Fifth, our prayers should be aligned with God's will. So, we should make our desires known to God, but we should also pray for His will to be done in our lives. We must rejoice always, pray without ceasing, and in everything give thanks, for this is God's will in Christ Jesus concerning us. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 WEB)
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our fellow believer who is feeling depressed, doubtful, and overwhelmed by financial hardships. We who are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak. (Romans 15:1 WEB) Father, we ask for Your comfort and peace to surround them, and for Your provision to meet their needs. We know you never leave us or forsake us. Therefore, we ask that they can be physically nourished and provided for. Father in heaven, we ask that this person asking for prayer can be healed of their depression and doubt. We ask that they can find the strength and courage to continue trusting in You, even in the darkest times. We ask that their faith would be renewed, and that they would experience Your miracles in their life. Father, we ask that You would guide them, that they would seek Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, and that all these things would be given to them as well. We ask for Your will to be done in their life, and for Your glory to be revealed. Father, please work in their life so that they can be saved if they have not already believed in Jesus Christ. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to reach out to your local church or Christian community for support and guidance during this time. God's family is there to help and encourage one another. Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all that is written in the book of the law of Moses, without turning aside to the right hand or to the left, that you may not come into contact with these nations which remain among you.
