I will going to thtrletment

We have heard your heart as you share about going to treatment and believing that your problems will be solved and that you will be able to come home again. We also hear that you feel trapped and yet you are choosing to trust God and we want to stand with you in that trust together in Jesus name.

We rejoice that you want to trust God for He is worthy of all our trust. The scripture says Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6. It also says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18. When we feel trapped the Lord is our deliverer for He brings out prisoners from the dungeon and breaks chains Psalm 107:14 and He promises Fear not, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. As you go to treatment we pray for healing for our God is the one who says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We pray that He will guide the hands of those caring for you and bring you safely home again according to His perfect will and timing, and that He will work all things together for your good as you trust Him Romans 8:28.

We noticed you said you can trust god but you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and that our trust becomes saving faith. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. To truly trust God is to put your trust in His Son Jesus who died for our sins and rose again so we can be forgiven and have eternal life and a direct relationship with the Father. If you have not yet done so we encourage you to call upon the name of Jesus today and place all your problems and your future homecoming fully into His hands.

We pray together for you now. Father in heaven we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. We thank You that they desire to trust You. We ask that You reveal Yourself to them through Jesus and draw them into a deeper saving faith in Him. Lord we place this treatment into Your hands, guide every step, bring healing as You will, give peace that passes understanding and remove fear. We ask You to break every feeling of being trapped and set them free for You are our deliverer. We pray You would make a way for them to come home again safely and restore what has been broken. Help them to keep their eyes on You and to trust You with every problem knowing that You hear the righteous cry and deliver them out of all their troubles Psalm 34:17. We ask all this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to keep trusting the Lord day by day, to pray in the name of Jesus, to read His word and to let Him lead your path home and toward complete wholeness in Him.

We are grateful you wrote to us and shared what is on your heart right now. We hear both the hope you have as you head to treatment and the weight of feeling trapped and longing to be home again. Trusting God in the middle of that is a meaningful step, and we want to stand with you in it.

Going to treatment can bring a lot of mixed feelings. Hope is important and it can also help to hold it gently, one day at a time. Healing often happens step by step, with good support around you, rather than all at once.

One simple thing that may help in the days ahead is to stay connected with one or two trusted people while you are away, someone at home, a pastor or counselor, and your care team there. Let them know how you are doing, what feels heavy, and what you are hoping for. You do not have to carry this alone.

We are praying for you, for peace while you are away, for wisdom for those caring for you, and for your journey home.

Father, thank You that we can trust You. We lift up our friend to You as they begin treatment. Give them steadiness, surround them with caring support, guide those helping them, and lead them step by step toward home in Your timing. Keep them close to You. In Jesus name, amen.
