Surgery can bring fear and uncertainty, but we know that God is sovereign over every moment of our lives. The Bible tells us in Psalm 31:14-15, "But I trust in you, Yahweh. I said, 'You are my God.' My times are in your hand." We declare that your father’s life is in God’s hands, and we ask for His perfect will to be done.

We also hear the deep love and concern in your words, your desire to see your father live and thrive is a reflection of the bond God has placed in families. However, we must gently address the fear and despair in your statement about needing to die before him. Scripture reminds us in 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." God does not want us to live in fear of the future but to trust Him with every outcome. Lord, guide the hands of the surgeons and medical team, giving them wisdom and skill. We declare that Your will be done in his life, whether that is healing, restoration, or peace in Your presence.

Father, we ask for strength and comfort for his family, especially for his child who is crying out to You. Ease their fears and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and that You hold their future in Your hands. Help them to trust in You completely, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear, despair, or doubt that may be trying to take root. We declare that this family is covered by the blood of Jesus and that no weapon formed against them will prosper. Fill them with hope and assurance in Your promises. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above all names, the only name by which we are saved and can come before You. Amen.
