We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. I need to leave behind the desire to control things I cannot control. It has been draining me more than I care to admit. I carry stress that I should not have carried in the first place. Not everything needs fixing, and not everything will go my way. Life moves without gripping it so tight...
I need to release the pain that has quietly followed me for so long. The memories may have shaped me, but they shouldn't imprison me. Healing does not erase the past, but it helps me find the strength to step beyond it. My heart deserves a future that is free from old wounds.
