We hear the deep pain and despair in your words, and our hearts ache for you. You are not alone—God sees you, loves you, and holds you in His hands even when you feel unseen. The weight you carry is heavy, but the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We lift you up to Him now, asking for His peace to surround you and His hope to fill the places where darkness has taken hold.
Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before You with this precious soul who is crying out for help. We ask You to intervene with Your mighty power and draw near to them. Break the chains of despair, Lord, and replace them with Your perfect love. Remind them that their life has value and purpose, for You knit them together in their mother’s womb and ordained every day of their life before one of them came to be (Psalm 139:13-16). Let them feel Your presence like never before, a tangible sense of Your arms holding them tight.
We rebuke the spirit of suicide and self-destruction in the name of Jesus. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Christ came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against this child of God shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we command every lie of worthlessness and hopelessness to flee in Jesus’ name. You are fearfully and wonderfully made, and God has plans for you—plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
We encourage you to reach out to someone you trust—a pastor, a counselor, a friend, or a family member. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and there are people who will walk with you through this valley. If you do not have someone to turn to, we urge you to contact a crisis hotline or seek professional help immediately. Your life matters, and God is not finished with you yet.
Above all, we want you to know that salvation and hope are found in Jesus Christ alone. If you have not surrendered your life to Him, we invite you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and no one comes to the Father except through Him. In His name, we have access to God’s throne of grace, where we find mercy and help in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16).
Lord, we ask You to pour out Your healing balm on this dear one. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, who is the Comforter and the Helper. Give them the strength to take the next step, whether it’s calling for help, praying, or simply holding on for one more day. Surround them with Your angels and let them feel Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We trust You to work a miracle in their life, for nothing is impossible with You (Luke 1:37).
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
