Beloved of All
Your honest prayer has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the Lord with care and compassion. It is understandable to feel anxiety when a large decision weighs on you, especially when money is uncertain and the consequences feel heavy. Scripture calls us to bring that anxiety to God, to cast all our cares on Him because He cares for us, and to seek His peace which guards our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
We pray for you in this decision. We ask God to grant you wisdom and clear guidance, to calm your anxious heart, and to help you walk with prudence and trust. If there is a right next step to take regarding finances or commitments already made, we pray He will make it plain and give you courage to act with integrity, even when it is difficult or costly. We pray for His provision for your needs according to His wisdom, and for contentment and good stewardship whether the money you are expecting comes this week or in another way He provides. We ask that He will help you to make provision for what is necessary for health and for your household, and to set your heart fully on spiritual things, trusting Him rather than being weighed down by worry.
We also lift up your desire to help your adult children walk on a better path and to see your family strengthened. That is a good and loving desire. We especially pray for your son as he hopes to marry and start a family. Marriage is honorable and pure, ordained by God as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and it is to be entered with holiness, chastity and honor. It preserves holiness and keeps us from impurity, and it brings many responsibilities that require maturity and faithfulness. We pray that God will provide for your son in a way that allows him to pursue marriage in an orderly and God honoring way, that He will prepare both your son and his future wife to love the Lord first, and that their future home would be built on faith in Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have salvation and access to the Father.
We join you in praying for health, safety, protection, guidance and love for your whole family, and that this lingering issue would finally be put to rest for your good and for the good of your family as God defines what is good. May the Lord show you His working in your lives, lead you by His Word, and give you assurance that He is with you.
