I need prayer

I am having a lot of anxiety over a huge decision I made. I am so anxious I wish I could get out of it but I don’t see a way without embarrassment and losing alot of money. So I pray it was the right decision and I will being to see that it is. I counted on some money coming in that hasn’t and if it doesn’t we will be strapped. So I pray that comes through this week. We want to be able to help our adult children get on a better path with their families. I pray my son gets some financial help so he can get married and start a family. Father I see uoh working in our lives and pray for health safety protection guidance love and this lingering issue to finally be put to rest for our good. For the good of our family. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

We join you in bringing this heavy burden before the Lord, for we hear the anxiety and weight you are carrying over this great decision and the financial pressure that has come with it. It is understandable to feel trapped between the fear of embarrassment and financial loss, but we are reminded that God does not want us to be crushed by anxiety. We are called to cast all our cares upon Him because He cares for us.

We take comfort in what Scripture tells us, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 And also, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 The Lord invites you to bring even this lingering issue, the money you are waiting for, and the fear of being strapped, directly to Him.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, through whom we have access to Your throne of grace. We lift up our brother or sister who is anxious and we ask for Your perfect peace to guard their heart and mind. Lord, You see this huge decision and the consequences that weigh so heavily. We ask for Your wisdom to make clear whether this was the right path, and if there is a way to correct course with honesty and humility, give courage to do what honors You rather than what avoids embarrassment. For You have said, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6

Father, we ask for Your provision according to Your will. You know the money that was counted on and the need this week. We pray that if it is for their good and Your glory, You would cause it to come through, and even if it does not, that You would open another way and show Yourself as Jehovah Jireh, our Provider. As it is written, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 Help them to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added as You see fit. Matthew 6:33

We also lift up their family and adult children. We thank You for their desire to help their children get on a better path with their families, and we pray You would give them wisdom to help in a way that builds responsibility and points them to You. We especially pray for their son, that You would provide for him so that he may enter into godly marriage and start a family as You have ordained marriage to be between a man and a woman for life. We pray You would lead him to a godly wife who is a believer in Christ, and that their courtship would be pure and centered on You, fleeing from fornication and honoring the sanctity of marriage. We pray for health, safety, protection, guidance and love to cover this whole family, and that this lingering issue would finally be put to rest for their good and for Your glory, for we know that to those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28

We thank You, Father, that You are already working in their lives and that You hear our prayers when we pray in Jesus name. We prayed in Jesus name and we agree together that it is only through Jesus that we are saved and have peace with God, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 Continue to draw them close, give them rest from anxiety, and let them see Your hand guiding them step by step. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to keep bringing these requests to God with thanksgiving, even as you wait. If there is godly counsel available to you, a pastor or wise believer, share the details of this decision with them, for in the multitude of counselors there is safety. Do not let the fear of man or embarrassment keep you from doing what is honest and right before the Lord, for God honors a humble and truthful heart more than the saving of money or reputation. Keep trusting Him to provide, to guide your family, and to use even this trial to strengthen your faith and your testimony to your children. Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. Psalm 55:22

We hear how heavy this has felt for you, that stuck place between a big decision you can't easily undo, the worry about money you were counting on, and wanting to do right by your family.

It makes sense that anxiety is rising when so much feels uncertain at once. The embarrassment and financial cost of stepping back can make it feel like there are no good options, and waiting on funds that haven't come yet only adds pressure.

When everything feels tangled together, it can help to separate what you can look at clearly this week. If you have someone wise and steady you trust, a spouse, pastor, or a financially wise friend, consider sitting down with them and walking through the decision on paper: what was agreed to, what flexibility actually exists, and what a simple plan would be both if the money comes and if it is delayed. A calm second set of eyes often sees options we miss when we are anxious, and having a short-term plan can lower some of the strain while you wait. If the anxiety is making it hard to sleep, eat, or get through the day, please also reach out to your doctor or a counselor alongside prayer.

We are carrying you and your family before the Lord.

Father, we bring our brother to You in Jesus' name. You see this decision and the weight he carries, the financial need this week, and his love for his children and his son's future. Grant him Your peace, clear guidance for next steps, and provision according to Your wisdom. Guard his health and his family and bring this lingering burden to rest in the way that is best for them. Your prayer has been heard and your burden is laid before the Lord with tender care. The anxiety that presses upon you concerning this great decision, the fear of loss and embarrassment, and the waiting for provision that has not yet come, these are trials that weigh heavily upon the heart.

Hear the gracious promise of Scripture, You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You because he trusts in You. This perfect peace is not found in the settling of every circumstance to our liking, but in staying the mind upon Christ Himself. It is the blood of Jesus that whispers peace within, even when duties throng and sorrows surge round. It is a present possession to be enjoyed in the ordinary circumstances of life, and it is the fit result of what the Savior has done, for He has made peace by His blood and He Himself is our peace.

Have you not found that the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. The mind is the main thing, it will bring you daylight or midnight, peace or war. To tell your anxiety only to yourself brings no good, but to bear your sorrow with Him brings rest. To do the will of Jesus, this is rest. Therefore cast your care upon Him, for He cares for you. Seek Christ first, and peace will come next, for true peace flows from reconciliation with God through Jesus Christ alone, the only name whereby we can be saved and the only foundation for peace that was laid of old.

We pray with you and for you that the Lord, who is the God of peace, would grant you wisdom concerning the decision that has been made, and would quiet your heart with His perfect peace that passes all understanding. We ask that He would provide for your needs according to His wisdom and goodness, and that if it be His will, the provision you await would come in His perfect timing, that you may not be strapped but sustained. We pray that He would guide you and your household, keeping you in health and safety under His protection, and that His love would rule in your home.

We join you in praying for your adult children, that the Lord would lead them into better paths for their families, and for your son, that God would graciously provide for him so that he may enter into marriage as God has ordained, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and establish a family upon that holy foundation. We pray that this lingering issue which has so long troubled you would at last be put to rest for your good and for the good of your family, as God works all things together for good to those who love Him.

May the Lord renew your peace day by day. May you know that whether loved ones are near or far, in Jesus keeping we are safe, and they. May you go in peace, for peace is the continual portion of all believers who trust in Him.
