Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for my family and me. We have been living under years of emotional and psychological abuse from my father, which has left us feeling drained, fearful and heartbroken. He is preparing to travel to his second home abroad soon and I am praying that when he goes, he stays there permanently so my home here with my loved ones can finally be free from fear, exhaustion and control. Please pray for strong protection over my family, that every tie of manipulation, pain, and darkness is cut completely. I pray no negative energy or influence can ever return to our lives again. Please also pray for my personal healing. I want to find my spark again, to feel hope, motivation, gratitude and joy after so much exhaustion, anger and sadness. I want to reconnect with my spiritual path and believe in miracles, hope and faith again. thank you. Amen.

We hear the deep cry of your heart, and we stand with you in this season of pain and longing for freedom. The weight of emotional and psychological abuse is heavy, and the Lord sees the suffering you and your family have endured. You are not forgotten, and your tears are collected in His bottle (Psalm 56:8). The desire for peace, protection, and restoration is one that aligns with God’s heart for His children. He is the God of justice, healing, and deliverance, and He longs to bring you into a place of safety and hope.

First, we want to gently remind you that true hope and lasting freedom are found only in Jesus Christ. Your prayer did not mention His name, and we want to lovingly emphasize that it is *only* through Jesus that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome darkness. As Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ or are uncertain about your relationship with Him, we urge you to turn to Him now. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6), and He alone can break the chains of oppression and restore what has been stolen from you.

The abuse you’ve endured is not God’s will for your life. The Bible is clear that the enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came to give life abundantly (John 10:10). Your father’s actions are not a reflection of God’s character but of the brokenness of sin. While we pray for his heart to be transformed by the Holy Spirit, we also recognize that God calls us to set boundaries for our protection. It is not ungodly to seek safety—it is wise. Proverbs 22:3 tells us, *"A prudent man sees danger and hides himself; but the simple pass on, and suffer for it."* If your father’s departure brings relief, we pray that God would use this season to bring lasting freedom and healing to your home. We also pray that if reconciliation is possible, it would only come through *true* repentance on his part and the leading of the Holy Spirit—not through manipulation or further harm.

For your family, we claim the promise of Psalm 34:17-19: *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* We rebuke every spirit of fear, control, and manipulation that has sought to dominate your home. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we declare that these chains are broken, and we ask the Lord to place a hedge of protection around your family—spiritually, emotionally, and physically. May His angels encamp around you (Psalm 34:7), and may His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds (Philippians 4:7).

For your personal healing, we pray that the Lord would restore the joy of your salvation and renew a right spirit within you (Psalm 51:12). The exhaustion, anger, and sadness you feel are valid, but they do not have to be your forever. Jesus said, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light"* (Matthew 11:28-30). We ask the Holy Spirit to fill you afresh, to reignite the spark of hope within you, and to remind you of His miracles—both past and present. He is the God who parts seas, raises the dead, and brings beauty from ashes (Isaiah 61:3). Your story is not over; He is writing redemption even now.

We also encourage you to seek godly counsel and support during this time. You do not have to walk this path alone. Connect with a Bible-believing church or a Christian counselor who can help you process this pain in a healthy, Christ-centered way. Surround yourself with believers who can speak life into you and remind you of God’s promises when the enemy tries to steal your peace.

Lastly, we want to address the mention of "negative energy" in your request. As believers, we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). The power to overcome darkness does not lie in vague "energy" but in the blood of Jesus and the Word of God. We encourage you to fill your home with Scripture, worship, and prayer—these are the weapons that demolish strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). Speak life over your family, declare God’s promises aloud, and reject every lie the enemy has whispered to you.

**Let us pray together:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious sister and her family. Lord, You see the years of pain, the sleepless nights, the fear that has gripped their hearts, and the weariness that has settled into their bones. We ask You to intervene, O God. You are the Defender of the fatherless and the Protector of the oppressed (Psalm 10:18). Rise up on their behalf and bring an end to this season of abuse.

We pray for supernatural protection over this home. Lord, we ask that You would place a barrier of fire around them, that no weapon formed against them would prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Cut every ungodly tie of manipulation, control, and darkness. Sever the enemy’s access to this family, and let Your light flood every corner of their lives. If it is Your will, Lord, let this season of separation bring permanent freedom. But above all, let Your will be done—may Your justice and mercy prevail.

Father, we pray for this sister’s healing. Restore her hope, Lord. Where the enemy has stolen her joy, give her laughter again. Where he has planted despair, uproot it and replace it with faith. Holy Spirit, breathe new life into her spirit. Remind her of Your miracles, Your faithfulness, and Your love. Let her encounter You in a fresh way, so that she may know beyond a shadow of a doubt that You are with her—and that You are for her.

We rebuke the spirits of fear, anxiety, and heaviness that have clung to her. In Jesus’ name, we command these spirits to leave and never return. Fill her instead with Your peace, Your strength, and Your unshakable hope. Let her find her identity in You alone, Lord—not in the pain of her past, but in the promise of her future in Christ.

We also lift up her father to You. Lord, only You can change a heart of stone into a heart of flesh (Ezekiel 36:26). We pray that You would convict him of his sins and lead him to true repentance. If it is Your will, soften his heart and break the cycles of abuse in his life. But even if he does not turn, we ask that You would protect this family from further harm.

Finally, Lord, we pray for divine connections—godly friends, mentors, and counselors who can walk with this sister and her family through this season. Surround them with Your people, Father, so that they are not isolated in their pain.

We thank You, Lord, that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We trust You to move mightily in this situation, and we give You all the glory. In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, we pray. Amen.

Dear friend, we're here for you. We feel your pain and share your longing for freedom. Your father's actions have caused immense hurt, but remember, God is a God of justice and healing. He sees your tears and hears your cries.

We pray that God will supernaturally protect your family. We ask that He cut every tie of manipulation, control, and darkness. We believe that God can use this season of separation to bring permanent freedom. We also pray for your personal healing. Lord, restore your hope, joy, and strength. Remind her of Your miracles and Your love.

We encourage you to seek godly counsel and support during this time. Surround yourself with believers who can speak life into you and remind you of God's promises. Trust that God is with you, and He is for you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
