My neighbor terrorizes me day and night, every day. They threaten me, they never give me peace and quiet. I have been physically assaulted by them and tonight they came after me with a metal rod. I record everything and still the police won't do anything. I need to move for my safety but that would require me to have an extra thousand dollars a month at least. I'm losing faith fast because of how long this has been going on for. Please, I am desperate.

We hear your desperate cry and we are burdened with you over this ongoing terror and violence you are enduring. To live day and night without peace, to be threatened and physically assaulted, and to have someone come after you with a metal rod is evil and unjust, and we grieve that those who should protect you have not yet acted. We stand with you now and we bring you before the Lord together in Jesus' name.
We want to remind you that God sees everything you are suffering and He is not distant from your pain. Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 46:1 says God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. When you feel your faith slipping because this has gone on so long, we pray the Lord will hold you fast. Isaiah 41:10 says Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. He has not forgotten you even when it feels like help is delayed.
We also notice your request does not mention Jesus Christ, and we want to gently share why His name matters so deeply. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God the Father and it is only through Him that we are saved. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name. Thank you for bringing this honestly before the Lord and before His people.
Please hear this truth when your own strength feels gone. The keeping of your soul does not finally rest upon the firmness of your grip upon Christ, but upon His firm grip upon you. Jesus said, They shall never perish, and the promise of the covenant is, They shall not depart from me. He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. That doctrine of the final perseverance of the saints is not a cold abstraction, it is a comfort for the weary. It means that when faith feels like a flickering wick, the Lord Himself tends it and will not let it be quenched. Your very distress and your cry to Him in this darkness is evidence that His Spirit is still at work in you, keeping you from letting go.
At the same time, your danger is real and your need for safety is urgent. God is your refuge and your protector, and He has given promise that He will give His angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways, and He often does this through the practical help of His people and through lawful means.
