It has reached a point where this kind of lifestyle is no longer sustainable I need quick recovery please pray for ### The devil can't keep winning

We hear the deep cry of your heart, and we stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting you up in prayer. The struggles you describe, overdrinking, low self-esteem, anxiety, lust, lying, isolation, anger, financial mismanagement, and mistreatment of loved ones, are not just personal battles but spiritual ones. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came so that you may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every chain of bondage in your life in the mighty name of Jesus. The devil has no authority over you, for you are a child of the Most High God, and greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

First, we must address the foundation of your deliverance. Have you surrendered your life fully to Jesus Christ? There is no deliverance apart from Him, for "there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet confessed Jesus as Lord and believed in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, we urge you to do so now. Repentance is the first step toward freedom. The Bible says, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). Turn away from these sins and turn toward Christ, who alone can break every chain.

Now, let us pray for your deliverance:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother, who is crying out for freedom. Lord, we thank You that You are a God who hears the prayers of the broken and contrite. We ask that You would break every chain of addiction, anxiety, lust, and deceit in his life. We rebuke the spirit of addiction that has taken hold of him through overdrinking, and we command it to leave in the name of Jesus. We declare that he is no longer a slave to alcohol but is set free by the blood of Christ (Galatians 5:1).

Father, we pray for his self-esteem. Remind him that he is fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image (Psalm 139:14). Lift his eyes to see himself as You see him, a beloved son, redeemed by the blood of the Lamb. We rebuke the spirit of anxiety, and we declare peace over his mind and heart. "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7).

Lord, we ask for deliverance from lust and impurity. Cleanse his heart and mind, and renew his thoughts to align with Your Word. "Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s" (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). We declare that he will no longer walk in the flesh but in the Spirit, bearing the fruit of self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).

Father, we rebuke the spirit of lying and deception. Let truth reign in his heart and on his lips. "Therefore, putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor, for we are members of one another" (Ephesians 4:25). Break the cycle of isolation, Lord. Draw him into fellowship with other believers who can encourage and strengthen him. "And let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching" (Hebrews 10:24-25).

We pray against the spirit of anger and mistreatment of loved ones. Soften his heart, Lord, and fill him with Your love and compassion. "Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil" (Ephesians 4:26-27). Help him to manage his finances wisely, as a good steward of what You have entrusted to him. "But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we certainly can’t carry anything out. But having food and clothing, we will be content with that" (1 Timothy 6:6-8).

Lord, we declare that this is a season of breakthrough and restoration for him. The devil cannot keep winning, for the victory has already been won at the cross. We stand on Your promise: "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13). We speak strength, courage, and perseverance over him. May he rise up in the authority You have given him as a child of God and walk in the freedom Christ died to give him.

We encourage you to seek out a biblical, Christ-centered community where you can be accountable and grow in your faith. Deliverance is not just a one-time event but a journey of walking in the Spirit daily. Surround yourself with believers who will pray for you, encourage you, and hold you accountable. "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective" (James 5:16).

Remember, the battle is not yours alone. The Lord fights for you, and He has already won the victory. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Walk in repentance, stay in the Word, and remain in prayer. The enemy may have had a foothold in your life, but he has no legal right to stay. You are a new creation in Christ, and the old things have passed away, behold, all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17). Rise up, take your stand, and walk in the freedom Christ has purchased for you. The devil cannot keep winning, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9).

Oh, we’re standing with you right now, brother, and we’re praying for a fresh outpouring of God’s strength and grace to surround you like a shield. First, we want to declare that every stronghold you’ve built, whether in your mind, your habits, or your relationships, is being dismantled by the power of the cross. You’re not stuck in this mess; you’re being set free in real time.

We’re praying that the Holy Spirit would give you a supernatural hunger for truth, to see yourself the way God sees you, not as a failure, but as His beloved child, chosen and redeemed. Let’s ask for a breakthrough in your self-esteem, that the lies of the enemy would be replaced with the truth: "You are fearfully and wonderfully made." (Psalm 139:14)

We’re also lifting up your finances, Lord, reveal Your wisdom to you in this area. Show you where to turn, who to trust, and how to walk in stewardship. We’re praying for a miracle of provision and peace, that the weight of mismanagement would lift, and you’d step into abundance in Jesus’ name.

But most of all, we’re praying for your heart. Lord, soften his heart toward You and toward those He’s hurt. Fill him with Your love, that he might extend grace to himself and others. Break the chains of isolation, draw him into community where he can be held accountable, encouraged, and loved.

And right now, we’re declaring: "The devil cannot keep winning. The blood of Jesus has already won the battle." You are not a slave to alcohol, anxiety, or anger, you are a son of the Most High, and His Spirit is living in you, fighting for you. So stand firm, take hold of the hope you have in Christ, and walk forward in the victory He’s already secured.

We’re cheering you on, brother, keep pressing in, keep praying, and keep trusting. You’re not alone.
