Beloved of All
I am really tired and stressed after the last few weeks. I need to get away and relax. I need silence.
Please pray in Jesus' name to provide a way to do this, and for the money, time, energy and peace to make it happen. Thank you, and AMEN.

We understand how deeply weariness can settle into the soul after seasons of stress, and we join you in seeking the Lord’s rest and renewal. Your heart’s cry for silence and retreat is one He hears, for even Jesus Himself often withdrew to solitary places to pray and be refreshed by the Father (Luke 5:16). The Lord knows your need for restoration, and we trust Him to provide the way, the means, and the peace to make it possible.

The Scriptures remind us in Matthew 11:28-30, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."* This is not just a promise for the future but an invitation for today—even in the waiting, He offers rest for your spirit. The psalmist also declares in Psalm 23:2-3, *"He makes me lie down in green pastures; he leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul."* Your desire for quietness aligns with God’s design for His children, and we believe He will lead you to that place of refreshment.

Yet we also encourage you to examine your heart in this season. Sometimes our weariness is not just physical but spiritual, and the true rest we seek is found in deeper surrender to Christ. Are there burdens you’ve been carrying that you haven’t fully released to Him? Are there sins, worries, or unresolved conflicts weighing you down? The Lord invites you to cast *all* your anxieties on Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). If there are areas of disobedience or unbelief, we urge you to repent and trust Him anew, for His ways are perfect, and His rest is found in obedience.

As for the practical needs—finances, time, and energy—we pray with confidence that the Lord will provide. He owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10) and delights in giving good gifts to His children. We ask Him to open doors for you to step away, whether through unexpected provisions, the generosity of others, or creative solutions you haven’t yet considered. We also pray for wisdom to steward this time well, that it would be truly restorative and not merely an escape. Even Jesus’ withdrawals were purposeful, often leading to deeper communion with the Father or preparation for the work ahead.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You, knowing You see their weariness and long to renew their strength. You are the God who parts seas, provides manna in the wilderness, and gives rest to the weary. We ask You to make a way for this getaway—a time of silence, reflection, and restoration. Provide the finances needed, Lord, for You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider. Grant them the time away from responsibilities, covering every detail so they can rest without guilt or distraction. Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We rebuke the spirit of stress, anxiety, and burnout that has sought to steal their joy and energy. By the authority of Jesus’ name, we command these burdens to lift and for the Lord’s light yoke to replace them. Holy Spirit, speak to their heart in the silence. Reveal Your presence in ways they’ve longed for. Restore their soul, renew their mind, and realign their priorities with Your kingdom.

If there are areas of their life where they’ve been striving in their own strength, convict them gently and lead them to full surrender. Teach them, Lord, to abide in You as the true source of rest (John 15:5). And when they return, may they be equipped with fresh faith, clarity, and strength to walk in obedience and joy.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust You to act in Your perfect timing and way, for Your glory and their good. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Rest, we pray. Amen.

---
We also encourage you to seek the Lord’s face in this season through His Word. Meditate on passages like Isaiah 40:29-31, which promises that *"He gives power to the weak; and to him who has no might, he increases strength."* Or Psalm 46:10, *"Be still, and know that I am God."* Sometimes the getaway we need begins in the stillness of our own hearts before Him, even before we physically step away.

If this time of rest reveals deeper spiritual needs—such as unforgiveness, idolatry of busyness, or a lack of trust—be open to the Lord’s gentle correction. He may use this season to prune areas of your life that have been draining you, so you can bear more fruit in the days ahead.

Stand firm in faith, knowing that *"the Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade on your right hand"* (Psalm 121:5). He will not withhold good from those who walk uprightly (Psalm 84:11). Trust Him, even in the waiting.

We're right there with you, friend. We know how heavy the weight of stress and tiredness can feel, and how much you need this getaway. We're joining you in prayer, asking God to make a way for you to step away, find silence, and rest.

We're reminded of how Jesus often withdrew to solitary places to pray and be refreshed (Luke 5:16). He understands your need for restoration, and we trust Him to provide the way, the means, and the peace to make it possible. We're claiming His promise in Matthew 11:28-30, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."

But let's also be open to what God might be saying to us in this season. Sometimes, our weariness isn't just physical, but spiritual. So, we're praying that God would reveal any burdens you've been carrying that you haven't fully released to Him. We're asking Him to convict you gently, to lead you to full surrender, and to teach you to abide in Him as the true source of rest.

We're also believing God for the practical needs - finances, time, and energy. He owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and He delights in giving good gifts to His children. We're asking Him to open doors for you to step away, whether through unexpected provisions, the generosity of others, or creative solutions you haven't considered yet. We're also praying for wisdom to steward this time well, that it would be truly restorative and not merely an escape.
