I need a getaway

Beloved of All
I am really tired and stressed after the last few weeks. I need to get away and relax. I need silence.
Please pray in Jesus' name to provide a way to do this, and for the money, time, energy and peace to make it happen. Thank you, and AMEN.

We understand how deeply you are longing for rest, and we rejoice that you have brought this need before the Lord in the name of Jesus. It is only through Him that we find true peace and renewal, for He Himself invites us, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."* (Matthew 11:28-30, WEB).

The weariness you feel is real, and the Lord sees it. Even Jesus, in His earthly ministry, often withdrew to solitary places to pray and restore His spirit (Luke 5:16). There is wisdom in seeking quietness before God, for it is in the stillness that we hear His voice and are refreshed by His presence. The psalmist reminds us, *"Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth."* (Psalm 46:10, WEB). Your desire for silence is a godly one, for in it, you seek not just physical rest but spiritual renewal.

We will lift you up in prayer, asking the Lord to provide the way for this time of retreat. He is Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and nothing is too difficult for Him. Whether it is through unexpected financial provision, a sudden opening in your schedule, or the energy to make it happen, we trust that He will make a way where there seems to be no way. Remember how Elijah was fed by ravens and sustained in the wilderness (1 Kings 17:4-6)—if God can provide in such miraculous ways, He can certainly meet this need for you.

At the same time, we encourage you to examine your heart and ensure that this desire for rest is not becoming an escape from responsibilities or a means to avoid what God may be calling you to endure for a season. There are times when the Lord allows us to walk through valleys of weariness to teach us reliance on Him, as Paul learned when he begged the Lord to remove his thorn in the flesh. The Lord’s response was, *"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."* (2 Corinthians 12:9, WEB). If this season of stress is one of those times, we pray that the Lord will give you the grace to endure it with joy, knowing that He is refining you and drawing you closer to Himself.

We also urge you to consider how you might create moments of rest and silence even in the midst of your current circumstances. Jesus often found solitude in the early morning hours (Mark 1:35), and you, too, can carve out small pockets of time to be still before Him. Whether it’s waking up a few minutes earlier to read Scripture, taking a quiet walk, or simply sitting in silence with a heart turned toward Him, these moments can be a balm to your soul while you wait for a longer time of retreat.

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is weary and burdened. Lord, You know the depths of their exhaustion, and You see the stress that has weighed heavily upon them in these past weeks. We ask that You, the God of all comfort, would wrap them in Your peace and provide a way for them to find rest and renewal. Open doors that no one can shut, Lord—provide the finances, the time, the energy, and the perfect opportunity for them to retreat into Your presence. Let this time be one of deep refreshing, where they hear Your voice clearly and are strengthened for the days ahead.

If there is anything in their heart that needs surrendering—fear, anxiety, or even a desire to escape rather than trust—we ask that You would reveal it and replace it with Your perfect peace. Teach them, Lord, to cast all their cares upon You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Remind them that even in the waiting, You are their rest.

We also pray that You would guard their heart and mind during this time. Let them not be tempted to fill the silence with distractions but instead draw near to You in worship, prayer, and meditation on Your Word. May this season of rest be holy, set apart for You, and may they return with a renewed spirit, ready to serve You with gladness.

Thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness. We trust that You will answer this prayer in a way that brings glory to Your name and deepens their dependence on You. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, friend. We know the feeling of being stretched thin, the constant hum of stress buzzing in our minds. It's like we've been running on empty for too long, and our bodies and souls are crying out for a break. We get it, and we're here for you.

We've been thinking about you, and we want you to know that we've been lifting you up in prayer. We've been asking God to provide a way for you to get away, to find some silence and rest. We believe that He hears you, and He sees your need. He's a good Father, and He wants the best for you.

We've been reminded of how Jesus often withdrew to solitary places to pray and rest. He knew the value of silence and solitude, even in the midst of His busy ministry. So, we've been praying that God would open up a way for you to have that same kind of rest. We've been asking Him to provide the finances, the time, the energy, and the peace you need to make it happen.

But we also want to encourage you, friend. We've been thinking about how even in the waiting, God is with you. He's your rest. So, we've been praying that you would find peace in Him, even now. We've been asking Him to reveal anything in your heart that needs surrendering, and to replace it with His perfect peace.

And we've been praying for your time of rest too. We've been asking God to guard your heart and mind, to help you draw near to Him in worship, prayer, and meditation on His Word. We've been praying that this time would be holy, set apart for Him, and that you would return with a renewed spirit, ready to serve Him with gladness.

We trust that God is at work in your life, and we're confident that He will answer this prayer in a way that brings glory to His name and deepens your dependence on Him. We're here for you, friend. Keep trusting, keep hoping, and keep resting in Him. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting your need for rest and renewal before the Lord these past few days. It has been our joy to stand with you in prayer, asking God to open doors for you to step away, to provide the finances and time needed, and—most importantly—to meet you in the quiet with His deep peace. We know how exhausting these seasons can be, and we’ve been praying that the Lord would not only grant you this time of respite but also refresh your spirit in ways that go far beyond a physical getaway.

If God has answered and you’ve found that place of rest—or even if He’s begun to renew your strength in unexpected ways—we’d love for you to share a praise report with us. Your testimony could be the very encouragement someone else needs today. And if this burden still feels heavy, if the way hasn’t opened yet or the weariness lingers, please don’t hesitate to post your request again. We are here to keep praying with you, trusting that the Lord hears and is working, even when we can’t yet see the outcome.

May He lead you beside still waters and restore your soul as only He can. We’re continuing to ask Him to surround you with His peace, to provide what’s needed, and to make His presence your greatest comfort in this season. You’re not forgotten, and neither are your needs. Keep seeking Him—He is faithful. We pray this in Jesus’ name.
