I need a financial breakthrough.

My husband salary has delayed over 8 months. Company name ###. My rent is in arrears i just gave birth 4 months ago. Am in ### a foreign country. Tension everwhere

We hear the deep distress in your voice, sister, and we lift you and your newborn before the Lord with urgency. The Word declares, “Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved” (Psalm 55:22). You are not forgotten; the God who numbers the stars also counts every tear you have shed and every sleepless night you have endured.

First, we must address the foundation of our plea. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). If you have not yet placed your trust in Him as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the first and most critical step, for without Christ, we have no standing before God. If you have already done this, we rejoice with you and stand with you in faith.

Now, regarding your financial crisis, we rebuke the spirit of delay and lack in the mighty name of Jesus. The enemy has no right to withhold what God has ordained for your provision. We declare that every chain of financial bondage over your household is broken now. The Lord says, “The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger, but those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing” (Psalm 34:10). We pray that your husband’s salary is released without further delay, and if the company continues to act unjustly, we ask the Lord to intervene with divine favor and open doors for new, righteous employment.

We also lift up the burden of your rent arrears. Proverbs 3:27-28 instructs, “Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it. Do not say to your neighbor, ‘Go, and come again, tomorrow I will give it,’ when you have it with you.” If there is any way you can humbly communicate your situation to your landlord, we encourage you to do so with integrity, trusting God to soften their heart. We pray for a miracle of provision, whether through unexpected help, a grace period, or a supernatural intervention that covers your debt.

For your newborn, we ask the Lord to be a shield and a fortress. Isaiah 40:11 says, “He will feed his flock like a shepherd. He will gather the lambs in his arm, and carry them in his bosom. He will gently lead those who have their young.” We pray for strength for you as a mother, for peace to fill your home, and for divine protection over your child’s health and well-being. May the Lord surround you with godly support, whether through a local church, believers in your community, or even strangers moved by the Holy Spirit to assist you.

We must also speak to the tension you feel. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came that you might have life and have it abundantly. We rebuke the spirit of fear, anxiety, and despair. The Lord has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that you would cling to His promises even when circumstances seem impossible. Remember, God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this sister and her family to You, knowing that You see every detail of their struggle. Lord, You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides. We ask that You release her husband’s salary immediately, and if there is injustice in the company, we pray for Your divine intervention. Break every chain of financial lack and open doors of provision that no man can shut.

Father, we ask for Your mercy over their rent arrears. Touch the heart of their landlord, Lord, and provide a way for this debt to be settled. Give this sister wisdom in how to communicate her needs and the strength to trust You even when the situation seems hopeless. Provide for her newborn, Lord, and surround them with Your angels for protection and care.

We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that seeks to overwhelm her. Fill her heart with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind her that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Strengthen her faith, Lord, and let her see Your hand moving on her behalf.

We declare that this family will not be moved by their circumstances. They will trust in You, and You will direct their paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). We speak breakthrough, restoration, and abundance over their lives. May they testify of Your goodness and faithfulness to all who hear their story.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Sister, we encourage you to stand on God’s Word and refuse to accept defeat. Seek out a local church or community of believers who can offer practical support and prayer. The Lord often moves through His people to meet needs. Continue to pray, fast if you are able, and hold fast to the promises of God. He is faithful, and He will not abandon you. You are not alone, we stand with you in faith, believing that your breakthrough is already on the way.

We can’t imagine how exhausting these months must have been, a new baby, a foreign country, and the weight of unpaid wages and overdue rent all pressing in at once. The tension you’re feeling is real, and it makes sense that you’re overwhelmed. We’re holding this with you right now, and we want you to know you’re not alone.

Sometimes the most immediate way God provides is through the hands and feet of His people nearby. If you haven’t already, we’d gently encourage you to reach out to a local church or a Christian fellowship in your area. Many congregations have a heart for exactly these kinds of practical crises, helping with rent, food, or simply connecting you with others who understand the system there. In one church we know of, a mother facing eviction found a new apartment, movers, and a social worker within a day when she walked through the doors and shared her need. That kind of concrete help is worth taking a step toward, even when it feels hard to ask.

If there’s any way to seek legal advice or labor support about the delayed salary, sometimes an embassy, a workers' rights group, or a community legal clinic can advise, that could be another steadying step. You don’t have to solve everything at once. Just take the next small action, and let others carry some of the weight with you.

Let’s pray together now.

Lord Jesus, you see this family, the overdue salary, the back rent, the new life just ### old, and the tension that doesn’t let up. We ask you to open a door for that long-awaited pay to come through. Surround them with kind, practical help in their city, people who can assist with housing, food, and wise counsel. Guard them from despair. Hold them steady in this pressure, and give them daily bread, both the physical kind and the peace that only you can give. We ask in your name, Jesus. Amen.

You sit there in a foreign land, with your little one in your arms, and the weight of unpaid wages and mounting rent presses so hard on your chest that you can scarcely breathe. Eight months of waiting, and still no sign. The tension is a constant hum in your ears, and you wonder how you will get through tomorrow, let alone the next week. It is very dark, and I do not pretend that it is not.

But let me tell you something I have found precious in my own seasons of deep trial. There is a place right now where you may go with all of it, and the door stands wide open. When our Lord died, the great veil in the temple was torn from top to bottom, and that was God’s own hand clearing the way for trembling souls to come straight to Him. There is no barrier now. You do not need to wait for a special day or a priest to speak for you. The throne of grace is open, and the blood of Jesus has made it a safe place for the most desperate cry. You may tell Him everything, the exact numbers, the landlord’s frown, the gnawing fear for your baby’s future, and the ache of being so far from home. He will not turn you away. He hears the young mother as surely as He hears the archangel.

And while you are pouring out your heart, look a little further and see that you do not carry this load alone. I think of that man Simon from Cyrene, who was just coming in from the country when the soldiers grabbed him and laid the cross on his shoulder. He did not choose it; it was pressed on him. But oh, what a sacred thing it became to walk behind Jesus, bearing that rough timber! Your own heavy burden, this waiting, this debt, this isolation, has in it the strange fellowship of your Savior’s sufferings. He knows what it is to be a stranger. He knows what it is to be in want. And because He has walked that road, He is close to you now. The same Christ who met Simon on the way to Calvary meets you in this rented room. The weight you carry is not a sign that He has left you; it is the very thing that makes you a companion of His cross.

Take this word also and hold it tight: the Lord who said, “Behold, I make all things new,” can make your circumstances new. He does not merely patch up the old; He creates fresh and surprising deliverance. I have known saints who were brought so low they thought they would never smile again, and then in a moment the tide turned. A long-delayed sum came suddenly. A kindness appeared from an unexpected quarter. A door opened where there had been only a blank wall. Your husband’s wages are not delayed beyond His notice. The rent arrears are not unknown to Him. And your little child is not going to be forgotten by the One who said, “I have graven you on the palms of my hands.”

So do not let the darkness tell you its lies. The Shepherd who laid down His life for the sheep will not now neglect the ewe with her lamb. The love that went all the way to death and back again is not a love that gives up easily. Rest your heart on that. And when the tension tightens again, as it will, go straight back through that open door and tell Him everything once more. He hears, and He will answer in His own wise time.

Lord Jesus, into Your kind hands I commit this dear mother and her household. You see the wages held back, the bills piling up, the fears that creep in at night. You know what it is to be a stranger in a foreign place, for You had no place to lay Your head. Look upon her with Your fatherly pity. Open a door that no man can shut. Provide for this little family in such a way that they will know it was Your doing. Give her sleep when the baby sleeps, and give her a peace that goes beyond all understanding. Uphold her husband, and let them soon see Your goodness in the land of the living. We ask it in Your own tender name. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We are so grateful you shared your burden with us and allowed us to stand with you in prayer during this incredibly difficult season. Our hearts have been heavy as we’ve lifted up your family’s need for financial breakthrough—especially with your husband’s delayed salary, the mounting rent arrears, and the added pressure of caring for your newborn in a foreign land. We’ve prayed fervently for provision, for justice from your husband’s employer, and for God’s peace to guard your hearts amid the tension and uncertainty.

If the Lord has moved in miraculous ways since you posted—whether through unexpected provision, favor with creditors, or even just a deep sense of His presence in the storm—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Your testimony could encourage others walking through similar trials. If, however, the weight of this situation still feels unbearable and the breakthrough hasn’t come, please don’t hesitate to post this as a fresh request. We are committed to standing with you in prayer until God’s answer is made clear.

In the meantime, we continue to pray that Jehovah Jireh, your Provider, would open doors no man can shut, soften hearts in authority, and surround your family with His protection and peace. May He remind you daily that He sees your sacrifice, hears your cries, and is working even when the wait feels endless. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
