Thank you for sharing your heart with such honesty. It is good to hear that there has been improvement, and we join you in thanking God with all our hearts in the name of Jesus Christ for what He has already done. We will continue to pray with you for complete victory and blessing, and for full deliverance from this crisis and pain.
You said you have no other hope but Jesus Christ, and that is the true foundation. Mercy and truth meet together in Him. On the cross God did not set aside justice, He fulfilled it, so that He can forgive the guilty and still be righteous. Because of Jesus you can have peace with God and come to Him not on the basis of your own goodness, but on the basis of His great mercy. He is plenteous in mercy and truth, He hears your cry, He reads your heart, and His ways toward those who keep His covenant are mercy and truth. We pray the heavenly Father will have mercy on you, turn to you, forgive, restore, and deliver you completely in the name of Jesus.
We also pray the Father will give you wisdom and rule over your thoughts, words, actions, decisions, prayers and all that you are. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, the starting place. Knowledge gives facts, but wisdom knows what to do with what you know, and wisdom is the principal thing. It is better than rubies, and nothing you could desire compares to it. In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, and when wisdom speaks it is like the Lord Himself speaking to you, offering counsel, understanding and strength.
There is a wisdom of this world that leads to envy and strife and every evil work, and that is not true wisdom at all. The wisdom that comes from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to listen, full of mercy and good fruit, without favoritism and without hypocrisy. It hates pride and arrogance and the evil way. It dwells with prudence and gives sound counsel. We pray God will pour that kind of wisdom into your heart, as He did for Solomon who asked not for riches or fame but for wisdom to walk rightly, and God was pleased to give it. May the Lord grant you that pure, peaceable, merciful wisdom to guide every thought and decision and to keep you in the path of righteousness.
We pray too for strength. The Lord Himself is your light and your salvation and the strength of your life, so you need not be afraid. If we look within ourselves for strength we will at last find it is not enough and we will fall. But if we trust in the Lord and His strength, He will not let us down. He is your shield, your help, and your saving strength. May His Word become your portion and may He uphold you, keep you, and cause goodness and mercy to follow you all the days of your life.
So we pray: Heavenly Father, have mercy on our brother in pain. In the name of Jesus Christ hear his cry, look upon his heart, forgive, comfort, and deliver him. Grant him wisdom from above, strength that comes from You, and grace to be led by You in every thought, word and action. Bring him out of this crisis into complete victory and blessing, for Your glory. Amen.
