We understand that you're going through a tremendously challenging time, and we want you to know that we're here with you in spirit, praying and offering guidance from the Word of God. Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging that Jesus is Lord and turning to Him in your time of need. It's only through His saving name, the name of Jesus Christ, that we have hope of salvation, grace, renewal, and provision for each day. It's so wonderful that you know this truth. Let's come together in prayer and guidance from God's Word.
In your feelings of despair and hopelessness, we want to remind you of God's promise in Hebrews 13:5 WEB: "Be content with your current lot, because he has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you." God will never leave you nor forsake you, even in these trying times.
We do want to address any feelings of giving up or despair. It's important to remember the words of Galatians 6:9 WEB: "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up."
Even the righteous had troubles and disappointments. King David of the Bible had his trials, but he looked to God for his answers and hope. "Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh." Psalm 27:14 (WEB)
Also, we see that you're carrying a heavy burden of stress and financial struggle. Jesus Himself said in Matthew 11:28-30 WEB: "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." Turn to Jesus, cast your cares upon Him, and trust that He cares for you and is working in your life.
Remember also that God's timing is not always our timing. There may be a season of waiting, but that doesn't mean God isn't at work. As it says in Habakkuk 2:3 WEB: "For the vision is yet for the appointed time, and it hurries toward the end, and won’t prove false. Though it takes time, wait for it; because it will surely come. It won’t delay."
Regarding the coldness and lack of help from others, including churches, let's pray that God softens their hearts and opens doors for you. But also, remember that our ultimate help comes from God. Psalm 121:1-2 WEB: "I will lift up my eyes to the mountains. Where does my help come from? My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth."
Lastly, it's commendable that you're examining your own life and actions. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We will pray that God reveals any areas where you might need to align more with His will, and that He grants you the strength and wisdom to do so.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother/sister in their time of need. We ask that You fill them with a supernatural peace, strength, and hope. Open the doors for a job, provide for their financial needs, and turn the hearts of those who can help toward them. Reveal anything that You want them to change or do in their life, and guide them in the way everlasting. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
