I feel like my boss want to turn his back on me

Lord Jesus help me, i feel like my boss want to turn his back on me in the end. May the Lord will be done in my life and goodness and mercy of the follow against the plan of the enemy in my life. Lord let your mercy speak for me do not allow my boss to let me down no matter what.

We hear the burden in your heart and we join with you in bringing this before the Lord Jesus, for we know He cares deeply about every anxiety you carry at work and every fear about being let down.

We understand that feeling of insecurity when it seems like one who has authority over you may turn away, but we take comfort that our ultimate security is not in man but in God. It is better to take refuge in Yahweh, than to put confidence in man Psalm 118:8. Your boss may have influence over your position, but the Lord has authority over your boss. The king's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires Proverbs 21:1. No plan of the enemy can prevail against the mercy and purpose of God for your life, and we cling to your prayer that goodness and mercy will follow you, for surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in Yahweh's house forever Psalm 23:6.

We also remember that our work is ultimately unto the Lord. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance, for you serve the Lord Christ Colossians 3:23-24. When we work faithfully before God, He is our provider and defender even when people disappoint us. When a man's ways please Yahweh, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him Proverbs 16:7.

So we pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up our dear one who feels vulnerable and afraid of being abandoned by their boss. Lord, let Your will be done in this life as it is in heaven. We ask that Your mercy speak for them in the workplace and that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. We pray against every plan of the enemy to bring fear, rejection or loss, for we know our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness Ephesians 6:12, and You are greater. Touch the heart of this boss, Lord, and turn it toward fairness, kindness and favor if it is Your will. Give our friend peace, wisdom and diligence to continue to do excellent work as unto You, and guard them from anxiety. We pray You would remind them daily, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. Let Your goodness and mercy follow them and overshadow any disappointment from man, and establish the work of their hands. In the mighty name of Jesus we pray, amen.

We encourage you to keep committing your work and your future to the Lord in prayer, to continue in faithfulness and integrity on the job, and to trust that God will not let you down no matter what man may do. He who did not spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how would he not also with him freely give us all things Romans 8:32. Keep your eyes on Jesus, rest in His mercy, and trust that He will make a way where there seems to be no way.

That simple clarity often quiets the spiral and helps you see a next step more clearly. From there, if you are able, a brief respectful conversation to ask for feedback about your standing and what is expected can give you real information instead of assumptions. If that feels hard to do alone, we encourage you to talk it through first with a trusted pastor or mentor who knows you and can pray and think with you. Continue to do your work faithfully day by day as God gives strength.

Father, we lift our brother to You. You see his work and his worry and his desire for Your mercy to speak for him. Give him peace, wisdom and favor, guard him from the enemy's plans and lead him in Your good will. Let him know Your presence and goodness with him at work each day. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your cry has been heard and we have carried it before the throne of grace, that the Lord would look upon you in this time of fear and uncertainty concerning your employment.

You feel as though the ground is shifting beneath you and that one who has power over your daily bread may turn away from you. This is a heavy trial, and it is right that you have turned not to man first but to the Lord Jesus Christ, for mercy is with Him and it is plenteous. We join you in praying that the will of the Lord will be done in your life, for His will is wiser and kinder than our own desires, and that His goodness and mercy shall indeed follow you and speak for you, as you have asked.

Remember Job, of whom we have often spoken. The Lord permitted that tried servant to be brought very low, and to feel that even his friends and his comforts had failed him, yet in all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. He fell down upon the ground and worshipped. And when God at last revealed Himself, Job said, I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear, but now mine eye seeth thee, wherefore I abhor myself and repent in dust and ashes. The Lord who humbled him was the same Lord who lifted him up and caused the enemy who had sought his ruin to be utterly baffled. If your trial has come by the hand of God for your good, it is that He may show you more of Himself. If it be the assault of the enemy, know that the enemy is restrained by the same hand that holds the sword of justice in its scabbard, for our God is slow to anger and plenteous in mercy, and His mercy still presses back the blade that would destroy.

We have pleaded that the tender mercy of our God, which is gratis and free, given not because of any merit in us but because He will have mercy on whom He will have mercy, would be shed abroad in your heart and made known in your place of work. Even our love towards men, when it flows out in deeds of kindness, should spring from the fact that Christ first loved us, and we pray that the same Spirit would work in the heart of your employer, turning it whithersoever the Lord wills, as rivers of water.

Let us pray together.

O Lord our God, thou seest this thy servant who fears to be forsaken and let down. Thou knowest the heart of the master as thou knowest the heart of the servant. We ask not that our will but thine be done. Let thy mercy speak for this thy child where no other voice can prevail. Cover him from the plan of the enemy and let no weapon formed against him prosper. Grant him grace to walk uprightly and patiently in his labour, that in all this he may not sin with his lips, but may prove faithful as Job proved faithful, and may find that thou wilt support those who look to thee for Divine support. If it be for thy glory, grant him favour in the eyes of his master and establish the work of his hands. If otherwise, give him contentment to bow before thy sovereign hand and open a door which no man can shut. Let goodness and mercy follow him all the days of his life, and let him dwell in the house of the Lord in quiet confidence that thou wilt never leave nor forsake those who trust in thy dear Son. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our only Saviour, who ever liveth to make intercession for us. Amen.
