Silas
Beloved of All
I have read your cry for help and I am praying for you in the name of Jesus. I hear your fear about your leg, the injection you were given, the worry that it might have to be removed, and the jealousy you are facing because of your work. God sees all of this and He cares for you.
Scripture shows us that when God speaks to fearful hearts His first word is often fear not. After a long time of silence He broke that silence with those words to Zacharias, and He spoke the same words to Mary and to the shepherds. Fear not is His heart toward His people. Zacharias had prayed for many years for a son and God heard that persistent prayer even when the answer seemed long delayed. That is an encouragement to keep praying and not give up. Your prayer is heard.
The Bible tells us that His mercy is on those who fear Him, that He shows strength with His arm, He scatters the proud in their thoughts and lifts up those of low degree. He is able to deliver us from the hand of our enemies. And His salvation is more than just being saved from danger. He saves us so that we might serve Him without fear in holiness and righteousness, which means being made right before Him and living a right life before Him.
The last word of the Old Testament was a word of judgment, but the promise was that to those who fear His name the Sun of Righteousness would arise with healing in His wings, bringing light like the sunrise after a long night. That promise is fulfilled in Jesus. His name means the Lord is salvation. He came as good news of great joy for all people, not for a few but for all who will believe.
When you pray for healing He reveals Himself as the Lord our Healer. Whatever your need is, He wants to become the answer to that need in your life. Do not seek only healing, seek the Healer Himself. Do not seek only deliverance, seek the Deliverer. Many came to Jesus only wanting to be healed and did not give their lives to Him, but the greatest healing is to know Him and to walk with Him. Come to Him for forgiveness and for new life as well as for help with your leg.
Let me pray for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus I bring this dear one before You. You know the pain in the leg, the effect of the injection, the fear of losing the leg, and the hurt from jealousy and wrong done by others. Lord, have mercy and show Your kindness. Touch this leg and bring healing according to Your will. You are the Lord who heals. Guard this life from harm and from every plan of the enemy. Take away fear and give peace. Forgive sin and draw this heart to trust fully in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. Make this life whole, to serve You in holiness and righteousness all the days You give. I ask this in the name of Jesus, who is the Lord our salvation. Amen.
Keep looking to Jesus and keep praying persistently. Trust Him with your fear and with your body. Continue to seek proper medical care and wisdom from doctors while you trust the Lord to do what only He can do. He is near to those who call on Him, and He will be what you need as you put your trust in Him.
