We have read your request and though some of the wording is unclear to us, God knows fully what you mean and the situation with this woman who has a leg problem and feels trapped and in need of escape and help, and we join with you to bring her before the Lord together in Jesus' name.
We are reminded that God sees those who are suffering and trapped and He is near to those who call on Him. Psalm 34:17 says The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Psalm 46:1 says God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. And for physical affliction we cling to His promise as our healer, Jeremiah 30:17 says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, and Psalm 147:3 says He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.
We also notice your request does not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and find true deliverance and salvation. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If we put our trust in Jesus Christ, believing He died for our sins and rose again, we are forgiven and brought into fellowship with God, and we can come boldly to Him in prayer for every need. Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
So we pray together for this need.
Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this woman with the leg problem who feels trapped, and we lift up the one who is calling out on her behalf. You know her name, her pain, her body and her circumstances far better than we do. We ask for Your mercy and Your healing touch upon her legs and her whole body, and for relief from pain and restoration of strength. We ask that You make a way of escape where there seems to be no way, that You open doors, provide help, and surround her with people who will support and protect her in a godly and safe way. Isaiah 41:10 says Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. We ask You to be her strength and her refuge right now. Give wisdom to the one interceding, to know how to help in practical ways, to seek proper medical care and safe and lawful help where needed, and to speak with kindness and truth. Lead them both to trust in Jesus more deeply and to know that You hear every cry. We pray this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus, amen.
We encourage you to continue to pray and to seek godly and practical help for her, including medical attention for her leg and assistance from trusted pastors, family or local authorities if she is truly trapped or in danger, and to keep pointing her to the hope and peace found only in Jesus.
