We want you to know that God sees you and cares deeply for your suffering. He is the one who heals and restores. The scripture says Jeremiah 30:17 But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. And Psalm 103:3 who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. He also is your refuge when you feel afraid and when others act with jealousy toward you. Isaiah 41:10 Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. And Psalm 91:1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. We encourage you to continue to seek proper medical care from trusted doctors while you trust the Lord for healing, and to seek help from safe and trustworthy people around you if you feel you have been harmed. God also calls us to cast all our anxiety on Him because He cares for us as it says in 1 Peter 5:7.
We noticed that you spoke of God's kindness but did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your request. We gently share this because there is no other way for us to come to God except through Jesus. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We pray for her health as a woman and for comfort during her monthly suffering. We ask You to protect her from all harm and from any evil intent, and to surround her with Your refuge and fortress. We pray that You would remove jealousy and strife from those around her in her work and give her peace and safety. We ask that You make a way of escape for her from fear and distress, for Psalm 34:17 says The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Show her that she is not alone, that You are with her, and that Your kindness endures forever. Draw her close to Jesus, that she may know His salvation, His forgiveness, and His power to save and to heal. We ask all this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ, our hope and our healer. Your cry concerning your leg has been heard, and we bring it before the Lord who sees affliction and hears the prayer of the needy. You speak of pain and fear, of an injection given and of the dread that the leg should be cut off, and of jealousy surrounding you in your work. The Lord knows all these things, and He is near to them that are of a broken heart.
Hear the word of the Lord to you in your fear, for it is written, Fear not, for I will help thee, saith the Lord. Again and again in His garden this plant grows, Fear not, I am with thee, be not dismayed for I am thy God. Fear not, thou worm Jacob. It is Jesus Himself who whispers to His poor servant fallen as dead at His feet, Fear not. To be afraid dishonors Him who piled the heavens and sustains the pillars of the earth. Fear is weakening, but trust in promised strength gives peace. Therefore labor to get rid of fear by trusting Him.
There is abundant healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The Scripture says the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. The Sun of Righteousness arises with healing in His wings. He is not like an army surgeon who hurries along and says a leg off here, an arm off there, but He comes gently and sympathizingly to bind up and heal the wounded heart. Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction, and both are bestowed upon the Lord's people. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee. Pardon and healing were one. So we would have you look first to Christ for the healing of the soul, for all need healing, and then trust Him for the body also.
You speak of jealousy, and truly jealousy is cruel as the grave. Where love absorbs the heart, jealousy will guard the object, and when provocation comes it shows itself. There is a virtuous jealousy, and the Lord Himself is a jealous God who watches over His own with a pure and holy flame. Men cannot be the Lord's without being the subjects of His watchfulness. He will guard His children from those who would harm them, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper beyond what His wisdom permits.
Let us pray for you now.
O Lord God, Father of mercies, we come to Thee through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. Look in kindness upon this afflicted one who fears the loss of the leg and is in pain and trouble. Thou art the great Physician, and Calvary is the place for the healing balm. If it be Thy will, spare this leg from the knife, stay the corruption, cleanse the wound, and give skill and wisdom to those who provide care. Let Thy healing virtue flow, that even as the leaves of the tree are for healing, so Christ may be healing to body and soul. Remove fear and give trust in Thy promised help. Deliver from the cruelty of jealousy and from every evil intent of man, and turn the hearts of those who would do harm. Have kindness and compassion on this one who is afraid and in pain. Lord, you know the condition of this leg and the cause of this suffering. We ask for your healing touch. Bring relief from pain, bring healing to the tissue and to the whole body, and calm all fear and anxiety.
