God as I draw close to You bless me to grow in the holiness of God. God help me and show me how to always seek Jesus as my source and standard of holiness. God also show me how to appreciate and excel in my spiritual gifts and the calling You have placed upon my life. God don’t let me be envious or jealous of others because of their spiritual gifts, callings, and or blessings. But let me focus on drawing close to You, living a lifestyle of holiness, appreciating and excelling in my spiritual gifts, and the call you have placed upon my life for the glory of God. God, please do the same for the writer of this prayer and all those I love and care about. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so in Jesus’ name.

Now I know why many people are walking away from Christ. I have experienced it on this site by narcissist who call themselves Christians.

Walking in Christ is not a road with roses and God tests us in every corner of our life like a metal is tested by fire. We will have pain, suffering and it feel like our life is worth nothing. And the person who endures that pain will always be with Christ in this world and world eternal.
I feel blessed praying to God for others and at the end of the day it's God who decides what is best for every individual and how much fire each person can take or walk away from Him.

Now I know why many people are walking away from Christ. I have experienced it on this site by narcissist who call themselves Christians.

I understand how you feel. I too have run into these kind of christians in the past. Pushing Scripture down a persons throat in an arrogant manner while trying to make yourself look like a saint accomplishes nothing.

I sincerely thank you for your gentle spirit. Who would think posting a simple prayer request would get firey arrows of guilt, shame, complaining and laziness thrown at you from other christians. But mine did. and Like a Cult many of them are on here giving each other the thumbs up for this behavior. Then they say they are doing it in the Love of God? Really? If this is what the Love of God is about then Count me out. I have been treated with more kindness, Love and empathy by people who do not even know Christ. If that is not shameful what is. I mean How can you read so much wrong in a simple prayer request? They use scripture and then follow it up with their own take on your situation in a clever manner to make it sound like you want to be in that situation, Like in some sick way you enjoy being in the well. That is rediculous thinking. When Joseph's brother's threw him into the well he could not pull himself up and out of it on his own or he would have done before the slave traders showed up. Am I right? When the Jews were being chased by pharoah to the Red sea, if God had not parted the waters they would have been destroyed. Am I right? And some of these people are on here praying for others? Give me a break! I could probably get quicker results if i had hitler or stailn pray for me. Listen, I've prayed and prayed about my troubles and burdens until i am blue in the face and nothing. Is that my fault? According some people on here who claimed to be called by God it is. Yes, I am angry and hurt by this experience and It's enough to make me lose faith in God completely and turn into an atheist....Again thank you for your understand spirit.
