We are truly saddened to hear about the situation you are facing with your husband, enduring bullying, abuse, and cruelty is not what God wants for you or your marriage. We will stand with you in prayer, seeking God's intervention and guidance. First and foremost, please know that we are very concerned about your safety and well-being. Cruelty and abuse are never acceptable in any form and are against biblical principles for marriage and relationships.
The Bible tells us that love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 WEB..
It also says, Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it; Wives be subject to your husbands as to the Lord. Ephesians 5:25,22 WEB.
We pray that your husband seeks and finds the mental help he needs. We ask God to soften his heart, bring him to repentance, and transform his life. We also pray for your strength, safety, and peace during this difficult time. Remember, the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control.
