Jesus please let my husband be able to walk to work today and it not be raining when he does as I need the car. Please also let him be able to make the rest of the money we need for the rent. Thank you Jesus, Amen.

We join with you in prayer for your husband and for your household needs, and we thank God for your marriage and for your faith to bring these everyday concerns before Him in the name of Jesus.
We are reminded that our Father cares about even the smallest details of our lives, including the weather, our work, and our daily provision. He knows your need for the car today and your need for the rent, and He is faithful to provide. As it is written, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 and But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33
We also take comfort that the Lord watches over our coming and going, for Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. Psalm 121:8 and Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variableness, nor shadow of turning. James 1:17
We pray together for you now.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and we lift up this wife, her husband, and their home to You. We thank You for this husband who is willing to walk to work to serve his family, and we ask that You would keep him safe on his way. Lord, if it is Your will, we ask that You would hold back the rain while he walks and grant him strength and protection on his journey. We also lift up their financial need for the rent. You know the exact amount that is needed and You own all things, so we ask that You would open doors for provision through his work and through Your gracious hand, and give them peace as they trust in You. Help them to continue to seek You first, to steward what You have given them well, and to rest in Your faithful care. Give this wife encouragement today and let her see Your hand at work in these practical needs. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus, our provider and our peace. Amen.

It makes sense that both of those feel urgent at once. We love that you brought the small detail of the weather and the bigger weight of the finances straight to Jesus. He cares about both.
A small practical thought that sometimes eases a little pressure is to plan for both possibilities together this morning. A quick look at the hourly forecast and having a rain jacket or umbrella by the door can make the walk less stressful if the weather shifts, and sitting down for a few minutes to write out exactly how much rent is still needed and when it is due can make the next step clearer, whether that is picking up extra hours, adjusting spending for a few days, or reaching out early if you need to talk with your landlord.

Your petition has been brought before the Lord with thanksgiving, and we join you in seeking His gracious hand over these daily needs.
We are reminded that our God has been pleased to reveal Himself as a Husband to His people, one who sets His special love upon them and who provides for them as a husband with all his worldly goods endows his bride. He communed most lovingly with His ancient people and He is faithful still. What comfort this should give, that the same God who clothes the fields and numbers the hairs of our heads watches over the walk to work, the clouds in the sky, and the provision for the home. And we do not come as strangers to ask these mercies, for the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom by the hand of God Himself, so that through the blood of Jesus we have bold and free access to the throne of grace. The way is open for the greatest need and for the smallest care, and we may bring both with confidence.
Let us pray together.
O Father in heaven, we thank Thee that through Thy Son our Lord Jesus Christ the way is open to Thy presence. We ask in His name that Thou wouldst look upon this husband and this wife in their need. If it be Thy will, grant fair weather for his walk and keep him in safety on his way, and let the use of the car be ordered by Thy providence for good. Thou knowest what is needed for the rent, and not one of Thy children is forgotten in Thy care. Provide, we pray, what is lacking according to Thy riches in glory by Christ Jesus, and give to this household contentment and trust in Thy faithful husbandly love. Teach them to cast all their care upon Thee, for Thou carest for them, and to seek first Thy kingdom and Thy righteousness. Grant peace in the home and a quiet confidence that Thou wilt withhold no good thing from them that walk uprightly. In the name of Jesus our Redeemer we ask it, Amen.
