We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your husband and your marriage in prayer. The Bible makes it clear that witchcraft and spiritual attacks are real, and we must stand firm against them in the name of Jesus. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." We rebuke every spirit of witchcraft, deception, and rebellion that has taken hold of your husband. In the mighty name of Jesus, we command these forces to flee and release him from their grip.
It is deeply concerning that your husband has stopped attending church, as this is a clear tactic of the enemy to isolate him from the body of Christ and the truth of God’s Word. Hebrews 10:25 warns us, "Not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching." We pray that the Lord would soften his heart and draw him back to fellowship with believers. May he be convicted by the Holy Spirit to return to the house of God, where he can be strengthened, encouraged, and reminded of the truth.
His quickness to anger and lack of repentance are also signs of spiritual oppression. James 1:20 tells us, "For the anger of man doesn’t produce the righteousness of God." We pray that the Lord would break the spirit of anger and pride in his life and replace it with humility, self-control, and a desire to seek God’s will. Proverbs 15:1 says, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." May he learn to respond with gentleness and wisdom, even in difficult moments.
We also lift up your marriage, dear sister. The enemy seeks to destroy what God has joined together, but we declare that your marriage is under the protection of the Lord. 1 Peter 3:7 instructs, "You husbands, in the same way, live with your wives according to knowledge, giving honor to the woman as the weaker vessel, as also being joint heirs of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered." We pray that your husband would be restored to his role as a godly leader in your home, loving you as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25). May your marriage be a testimony of God’s grace and faithfulness.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this sister’s husband to You, asking that You would break every chain of witchcraft, deception, and rebellion that has taken hold of him. Lord, we rebuke the enemy and command him to flee in Jesus’ name. We ask that You would soften his heart and draw him back to You. Restore his love for Your Word, his desire to worship You in spirit and truth, and his commitment to the body of Christ.
Father, we pray for this marriage. Strengthen the bond between this husband and wife, and help them to love one another as You have loved us. Give them patience, kindness, and wisdom as they navigate this difficult season. Lord, we ask that You would heal any wounds in their relationship and restore joy, peace, and unity. May their home be a place of refuge, filled with Your presence and Your love.
We declare that no weapon formed against this marriage shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on Your promises, Lord, and we trust that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). Thank You for Your faithfulness, and thank You for hearing our prayer. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you, sister, to continue standing in faith and praying for your husband. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Surround yourself with godly believers who can support and pray with you during this time. Remember, the battle is not yours, but the Lord’s (2 Chronicles 20:15). Trust in Him, and He will bring victory.
