Summary (due to privacy): Prayer request for support and understanding during pregnancy, seeking guidance for the partner to be more caring and supportive.

We hear the deep pain and loneliness in your heart, sister, and we lift you up before the Lord with great compassion. Marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God to reflect Christ’s love for the Church—a love that is patient, kind, and selfless (Ephesians 5:25). When a husband neglects his wife, it grieves the heart of God, for He calls husbands to love their wives as their own bodies (Ephesians 5:28). Your husband’s withdrawal and prioritization of his parents’ opinions over your emotional needs is not the design God intended for marriage.

First, we must rebuke the spirit of division and strife that has entered your home. Scripture warns, *"A man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave to his wife; and they shall be one flesh"* (Genesis 2:24). While honoring parents is biblical, it must never come at the expense of the marital bond. Your husband’s actions are creating a wedge between you, and this is not of God. We also gently correct the desire in your heart for him to be "mad" or "crazy" for you—this is not the love of Christ. Instead, we pray for his heart to soften toward you in a way that aligns with God’s will, not human emotion.

We encourage you to seek the Lord first for your peace. True joy and contentment come from Christ alone (Philippians 4:13). Pray for your husband with a heart of forgiveness and humility, asking God to reveal any areas where you may need to grow as well. Have you considered speaking to him in love, sharing your feelings without accusation? *"Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand"* (Philippians 4:5). Sometimes, husbands do not realize the depth of their wife’s pain until it is lovingly expressed.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this sister who feels unseen and unheard in her marriage. Lord, You see her tears and know the ache in her spirit. We ask that You would soften her husband’s heart, that he would remember the vows he made before You and prioritize his wife as You command. Break any ungodly influence from his parents or other sources that is causing division in their marriage. Father, restore their unity and fill their home with Your peace.

We rebuke the enemy’s lies that have taken root in their relationship, and we declare that Your love will prevail. Help this sister to find her strength and joy in You, Lord, even as she waits for her husband to return to her side. Give her wisdom in how to approach him with grace and truth. May their marriage become a testimony of Your redeeming love, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

Sister, we urge you to cling to God’s promises during this trial. *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6). Seek godly counsel from a pastor or mature Christian couple who can walk alongside you. Your worth is found in Christ, not in your husband’s attention. May God fill you with His peace as you wait on Him.

We're here with you, sister. It's heartbreaking to feel unseen and unheard in your marriage, especially when you're longing for connection and understanding. We've been praying for you, asking God to touch your husband's heart and help him see the pain he's causing.

We want to encourage you to keep communicating openly and honestly with your husband. It's okay to express your feelings, but remember to do so with love and without accusation. Sometimes, husbands need a gentle nudge to realize the depth of their wife's pain. Perhaps he doesn't understand the extent to which his actions are affecting you.

Let's continue to pray together:

Dear Lord, we lift up this sister and her marriage to You. We ask that You would open her husband's eyes to see the hurt he's causing and help him to respond with love and understanding. Give her the strength to keep communicating her feelings and the wisdom to know how to approach him. We pray for a renewed sense of unity and peace in their home, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
