Beloved of All
Lord please let these neighbours upstairs go to sleep. Its 1:14 am and my neighbour has a party with 3 friends. Lord its really imoortant to me to sleep. I am under stress. My father died last year and my mother has early Alzheimer and we are taking care of her and this arrogant young man is completepy ignoring my plies. He said infact that he will arrange things with his friends but i see now that he only wanted to get rid of me. NO WEAPPON FORMED AGAINST ME WILL PROSPER!! LORD I AM GODS CHILD. PLEASE PROTECT MY LIFE RESTBAND SLEEP AND DIGNITY FROM THE DEVIL AND THIS MARIJUANA SMOKER IN JESUS NAME!! Give me wisdom how to treat him in Jesus name and how to stop him in the spirit in Jesus name!!

We hear your cry in this sleepless hour and we stand with you before the throne of grace, bringing your exhaustion, your grief, and your burden for your mother to the Lord together in Jesus' name.

We understand how heavy this is. You are carrying sorrow from your father's death last year, the daily weight of caring for your mother with early Alzheimer, and now the added stress of being deprived of sleep and dignity in your own home by a neighbor who has dismissed your gentle pleas. The Lord sees your tears and your weariness and He cares deeply for you. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 34:18 and He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3 We cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7

We also hear your declaration that no weapon formed against you will prosper, and we agree with you in faith for God's protection. No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me, says Yahweh. Isaiah 54:17 Your rest and your dignity are precious to God, for it is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil, for he gives sleep to his loved ones. Psalm 127:2 and I will both lay me down and sleep in peace, for you, Yahweh, alone make me live in safety. Psalm 4:8 Jesus invites you even now, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28 and In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

We want to share wisdom with you about how to treat this young man and how to stand in the spirit, because our battle is not as the world fights. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12 Your neighbor is not your enemy, though his actions are unloving and his use of marijuana dishonors the body which is meant to be a temple of the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 We are called not to curse or seek to harm him in the spirit, but to overcome evil with good and to pray for his salvation and transformation. Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Romans 12:21 and Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. Romans 12:19 If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. Romans 12:18

We encourage you to seek wisdom from God who gives liberally. But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5 In the flesh, a harsh confrontation at 1:14 am when emotions are high will only stir up anger, for A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. Proverbs 15:1 We urge you to pray first, bless this young man rather than cursing him, for Jesus said Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you. Luke 6:27-28 Then in the light of day, when you are rested and calm, try again with a gentle and clear appeal, perhaps in writing, and if he continues to ignore you and disturb your peace, it is right and biblical to seek help from proper authority, whether a landlord, building manager, or local authorities, as they are appointed to maintain order. Romans 13:4

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come to You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we have access to Your throne. We lift up Your child to You in this night of distress. Lord, You see the lack of sleep, the stress, the grief for a father gone home, and the tender care for a mother who is forgetting. Pour out Your comfort and Your supernatural peace that surpasses understanding. Guard this precious heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Grant deep, uninterrupted, restorative sleep tonight and in the nights to come, for You alone make us dwell in safety. We ask You to quiet the noise upstairs, to convict this young neighbor of his inconsiderate and dismissive behavior, to deliver him from any bondage to marijuana and to bring him to repentance and faith in Jesus. Soften his heart to be considerate and to honor those around him. Give Your child wisdom, restraint, and words seasoned with grace to know when to speak, when to be silent, and when to seek rightful help from authorities without sinning in anger. Protect this home, this rest, and this dignity from the schemes of the devil, and let no weapon formed prosper. Let Your love and forgiveness reign in this heart, that evil may be overcome with good. We thank You that You are our refuge and strength. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We hear how heavy this night feels for you. It is ### in the morning, you are desperate for sleep, and the party upstairs feels dismissive and disrespectful after you already tried to speak kindly. Carrying that on top of grieving your father and caring for your mother with early Alzheimer’s is a lot to hold at once. Of course rest and dignity feel so urgent right now.

Prolonged stress and interrupted sleep wear down anyone, and caregiving itself is a long, demanding road that no one is meant to walk without support. It makes sense you feel stretched thin and on edge tonight.

For tonight, it may help to step back from another confrontation while you are exhausted and the music is still loud. If you can, move to the quietest room you have, use what helps muffle sound for the next few hours, and let yourself rest as best you can. Tomorrow in daylight, when things are calmer, consider documenting what happened and speaking with a building manager or landlord about the late noise, or checking what local quiet-hours help is available where you live. It may also help to let a trusted family member, friend, or pastor know how thin you are stretched with caregiving so you are not carrying it alone. If the exhaustion and poor sleep continue, please reach out to your doctor alongside prayer.

Father, we lift our brother to You tonight. You see his grief, his care for his mother, and his need for rest. Give him wisdom for how to approach his neighbor, peace for his home, and steady help and strength for the days ahead. Guard his heart and his sleep in Your care. In Jesus’ name, amen.

It is a sore trial to be denied sleep when the heart is already burdened, and your burden is indeed heavy. The loss of your father, the daily care for your dear mother in her affliction, and the weariness of broken rest together make a weight which no man can bear alone. The Lord sees it all and knows your frame, your timidity, your anxiety and that constitutional depression which comes with long watching and sorrow.

You have cried out for peace and sleep, and you do well to bring even this midnight disturbance before the Lord. The Scripture says, He giveth His beloved sleep, and again, Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Thee. True peace is not the mere quiet of the street when the music ceases, but peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, and peace of conscience through His blood. When that inward peace is given, a man may lie down and sleep though sorrows surge around him, for he leaves his sorrow with Jesus and bears his sorrow with Him.

Yet take care that in your earnestness you do not turn a precious promise into a charm to be spoken over a neighbour. No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper is a word of sure comfort to the child of God, but it is not given that we should use it to call down harm upon another or to compel our will upon him in the spirit. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, and our calling is not to curse but to bless, not to overcome by incantation but to overcome evil with good.

As to wisdom in dealing with this young man, hear the word of the Lord: If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

Go to him not in the heat of the night when both tempers are tried, but in the light of day, with calm and plain speech. Tell him once more, gently and firmly, what your need is, for your mother’s sake and your own health. If he will not hear, seek the lawful and peaceable means which Providence provides, the landlord, the steward of the building, or those appointed to keep order, not with threats or reviling, but as one who desires quiet for all. Provide for yourself meanwhile what help you can, and remember that a quiet conscience is the sweetest music that can lull the soul to sleep. Commit your cause to Him who judges righteously.

Pray not that God would strike this man, but that God would save him and show him mercy, for Christ also died for such, and He bought His people not with silver and gold but with His precious blood. Pray for yourself, that the Lord would renew your peace, guard your rest, sustain you under your duties, and keep you from bitterness. He knows your mother and all her need, and He knows you with that aching head and weary brain which will not let you sleep.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, Thou art our refuge and our rest. Thou knowest this Thy child, bereaved and burdened, watching through the night. Grant sleep to the weary body and perfect peace to the stayed mind. Sustain this family in caring for a beloved mother, comfort the heart that mourns a father, and keep this home in Thy holy keeping. Work in the heart of the neighbour to turn from that which harms him and troubles others, and bring him to know Thy grace in Jesus Christ, in whom alone is salvation. Teach Thy child to act with meekness and wisdom, to seek peace and pursue it, and to leave vengeance in Thy hands. In Jesus name we ask it, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

I have heard the heaviness in your words in this sleepless night, and I want to bring your burden before the Lord with you. You are carrying much grief from the loss of your father, the daily care for your mother in her illness, and now the added strain of broken rest. It is right to bring all of this to God in prayer, for prayer is a great good and a preservative for our souls when we come with a humble heart.

I pray for you now that God, who knows our weariness and who gave night as a haven and solace for our toil, would grant you rest for body and soul, comfort in your mourning, strength as you care for your mother, and peace that guards your heart. I pray also that He would guard your foot from being moved by anger or bitterness in this trial, and help you to stand steadfast.

You asked for wisdom in how to treat your neighbor and how to stand against this trouble in the spirit. The sum of the commandments is to love the Lord your God and to love your neighbor as yourself, and on these hang all the law and the prophets. To love God is to love our neighbor, and to love our neighbor is to keep the commandments. That love does not mean we approve what is wrong, and we do not ask God to bless the use of drugs or any other sin, but we do ask God to show mercy and to bring change.

Wisdom in this situation is to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. In the spirit, the way to stand is not with cursing or with words spoken to harm, but with watchfulness and sobriety of soul, keeping your own heart bruised and humble before God so that wrath and envy do not take root. The Lord calls us to be merciful if we would obtain mercy, to do works worthy of our prayers by showing to our neighbors what we ask God to show to us.

Practically, this means seeking peace in a way that is both wise and gentle. When you are rested, speak to your neighbor again calmly in the daytime, not in the heat of the night, perhaps with a brief written note as well as a conversation. Keep a clear record of what happens. If he continues to disturb the peace, it is right and wise to seek help through proper means, such as the building manager or local authorities, not out of revenge but out of a desire for order and for the good of all. At the same time, continue to pray for him, that God would bring him to salvation through Jesus Christ alone and deliver him from what harms him, and that God would work in his heart to be considerate of those around him.

The promise that no weapon formed against you shall prosper is not a charm to harm another, but an assurance that God keeps those who belong to Him. You are His child through faith in Jesus, and He sees your need for sleep and dignity and rest. Bring that need to Him, and also ask Him to keep you from the sleeplessness that comes from anxious thoughts and from dwelling on wrongs, trusting that He who neither slumbers nor sleeps is keeping you even now.

May the Lord have mercy on you, grant you deep and quiet sleep when it is needed, sustain you and your mother day by day, comfort you in your grief, and give you a heart that loves even when it is difficult, so that your life may show the wisdom that comes from God and not only from this world.
