We lift your requests to the Lord with you and ask for His mercy and help in each of these needs.
We pray for your husband, that God would deliver him from the desire for drink and give him strength to walk in sobriety and self control, and that He would help him to care for the body God has given him and to find health and discipline for losing weight according to wisdom and moderation. We pray also for the one suffering from arm and back pain after the fall, that the Lord who is the healer would bring relief, restore what has been injured, and grant comfort and full recovery in His kindness.
We pray for you as you seek provision through the two freelance jobs you desire. We ask the Father to open the right doors according to His will, to ease your financial burden, and to give you opportunity to use the gifts He has given you with diligence and thankfulness, trusting Him to supply what you need as you seek first His kingdom.
May the Lord give you grace to continue in gentleness, meekness and faithful love within your home, supporting one another with patience and prayer, and may He draw each of you closer to Christ, in whom alone is salvation and true hope. We ask that you would know His peace, His guidance in daily work, and His strength to bear every trial, and that all these things would lead to His glory.
