Prayer For Today December 6, 2025 God, thank you for today. God, your word says that you know the plans you have for us and that they are prosperous ones. Today I claim that and thank you for your truths. I speak victory, peace, and understanding over my life and trust your guidance. In Jesus name, amen

We lift this prayer before the throne of grace, grateful for the acknowledgment of God’s sovereign plans and the trust placed in His Word. Indeed, Jeremiah 29:11 declares, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you," says Yahweh, "thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* It is good to claim this promise, for it reminds us that our steps are ordered by the Lord when we commit our ways to Him.

Yet we must also remember that God’s prosperity is not always measured in worldly success but in spiritual fruitfulness, obedience, and alignment with His will. Victory, peace, and understanding come not by our own declarations alone but through surrender to Christ and walking in His ways. We encourage you to seek first His kingdom and righteousness (Matthew 6:33), trusting that He will direct your path (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and the assurance that Your plans for us are good. We ask that You would train our hearts to desire what You desire, to walk in the paths You have set before us, and to find our strength in You alone. Lord, grant wisdom and discernment as we navigate this day, that we may not lean on our own understanding but trust in Your perfect guidance. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Help us to speak life, not just over ourselves, but over those around us, that Your name may be glorified in all we do. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We also take this moment to rebuke any spirit of presumption or self-reliance that may creep into our prayers. It is not our words alone that bring victory, but our obedience to God’s Word and our dependence on the Holy Spirit. Let us remain humble, knowing that apart from Christ, we can do nothing (John 15:5). May we continually seek His face, not just His hand, and align our will with His.

Today, we stand in awe of God's unfailing love and faithfulness. We echo your thanks for today, dear friend, and join you in claiming God's promises. His Word assures us in Psalm 32:8, "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you." Let's trust in His guidance, knowing that He is leading us step by step.

We're reminded of the story of the Israelites in the wilderness. God didn't just tell them where to go; He went before them, guiding them with a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night. Let's fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who will lead us in the same way.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your constant presence in our lives. Help us to be sensitive to Your voice, to follow Your lead, and to trust in Your goodness. Give us the courage to step out in faith, knowing that You are with us every step of the way. Help us to speak life into others, just as You have spoken life into us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
