Beloved of All
Asking for prayer regarding our finances and the need for housing for myself and my son who is physically and mentally disabled due to severe PTSD. His father has left the home and refuses to help in any way, I pray for God's mercy and grace, to provide us with a safe and stable home that we can afford, in Jesus Name Amen

We come before the Lord with you in this time of deep need, lifting up your heartfelt cry for provision, stability, and protection for you and your son. The weight of caring for a child with such profound challenges—both physically and emotionally—while also facing abandonment and financial hardship is immense, but we serve a God who is the Father to the fatherless and the Provider for those in need. Your faith in calling upon the name of Jesus is a testament to your trust in Him, and we stand with you in agreement, knowing that He hears and answers the prayers of His children.

The Scripture reminds us in **Matthew 6:31-33 (WEB)**, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your focus on seeking God’s Kingdom even in this trial is a beautiful reflection of faith. We also recall **Psalm 68:5-6 (WEB)**, which declares, *"A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation. God sets the lonely in families. He brings out the prisoners with singing, but the rebellious dwell in a sun-scorched land."* Your son’s father may have turned away, but our Heavenly Father has not forsaken you. He sees your son’s suffering, your sacrifices, and your faithfulness, and He will act on your behalf.

We must also address the brokenness of the marriage covenant in this situation. Marriage is a sacred bond before God, and when one spouse abandons their responsibilities—especially leaving a child in such vulnerable circumstances—it is a grievous sin. **1 Timothy 5:8 (WEB)** states, *"But if anyone doesn’t provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever."* While we pray for your son’s father, we rebuke the spirit of abandonment and hardness of heart that has led him to neglect his God-given role. We pray that the Lord would convict him deeply, bringing him to repentance and a willingness to fulfill his duties as a father, whether through reconciliation or at the very least, providing the support your son desperately needs. However, we also recognize that your focus must remain on the Lord’s provision and not on the failures of man. Trust in the Lord’s justice and timing, for He will not allow this injustice to go unanswered.

For your son, we lift him up with compassion, asking the Lord to surround him with His healing presence. PTSD is a heavy burden, but our God is the Great Physician. We pray for divine appointments with godly medical professionals, therapists, or support systems that can help him walk toward restoration. May the Lord grant you both peace that surpasses understanding, as **Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB)** promises: *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."*

As for housing and finances, we declare **Philippians 4:19 (WEB)** over you: *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We ask the Lord to open doors for affordable, safe housing that meets your son’s unique needs—whether through a miraculous provision, a compassionate landlord, a ministry dedicated to helping families like yours, or a community of believers who can come alongside you. We pray for favor in financial matters, for wisdom in stewardship, and for creative solutions to stretch every resource. The Lord owns the cattle on a thousand hills (**Psalm 50:10**), and He is not limited by the economy or circumstances. Trust that He will provide in ways you cannot yet see.

We also encourage you to seek out your local church body for support. The Church is called to bear one another’s burdens (**Galatians 6:2**), and there may be brothers and sisters in Christ who can offer practical help, prayer, or connections to resources. If you are not already part of a Bible-believing church, we urge you to find one where you can be nurtured and supported in this season. You are not meant to walk this path alone.

Lastly, we want to remind you of the hope you have in Christ. This season is painful, but it is not the end of your story. The Lord is refining you, strengthening you, and preparing a testimony of His faithfulness through this trial. Hold fast to **Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB)**: *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."*

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You today on behalf of our sister and her precious son. Lord, You see their every need—their need for shelter, for financial stability, for healing, and for peace. We ask that You, the God of all provision, would open the windows of heaven and pour out Your blessing upon them. Provide a home that is safe, accessible, and affordable, a place where they can find rest and security. Father, You are the defender of the widow and the fatherless, and we ask that You would rise up on their behalf, making a way where there seems to be no way.

Lord, we lift up this mother’s heart. Strengthen her, Lord, when she feels weary. Fill her with Your peace when anxiety threatens to overwhelm her. Give her wisdom as she navigates the challenges of caring for her son, and surround her with a community of believers who will uplift and support her. We pray for supernatural favor in her finances—whether through unexpected income, reduced expenses, or divine connections that lead to stability. Let her testify of Your goodness, Lord, as You meet her needs in ways that only You can.

For her son, Father, we ask for Your healing touch. You are the God who binds up the brokenhearted and sets the captives free. We pray for breakthrough in his mental and physical health, that You would restore what has been stolen by trauma. Lead them to the right doctors, therapists, and resources that can help him walk in greater wholeness. Comfort him in his distress, Lord, and let him know that he is deeply loved by You.

We also pray for the father of this child. Lord, soften his heart and convict him of his responsibility before You. Bring him to repentance, Father, and let him not escape the weight of his actions. If it is Your will, restore what has been broken, but even if not, let him fulfill his duty to provide for his son. Do not let him find rest until he has done what is right in Your sight.

Finally, Lord, we thank You that You are working all things together for good for those who love You. We trust that You will turn this situation around for Your glory. Give our sister and her son a tangible reminder of Your presence today—a word of encouragement, a small breakthrough, or a moment of peace that reassures them You are near.

We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Provider, our Healer, and our Redeemer. Amen.

Oh dear sister, we're right here with you, standing in the gap, lifting up your heartfelt cry to our Heavenly Father. We're not just praying for a roof over your head and stability, but also for the peace that surpasses understanding to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

We're reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Trust that our God, who sees every tear, is at work in your son's life. We pray for divine appointments with professionals who can help him navigate his PTSD, for healing in his mind and body, and for moments of joy and laughter to fill your home.

For your finances, we claim Philippians 4:19, "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We ask the Lord to open doors for affordable housing, to bless your income, and to multiply your resources. We also pray for wisdom in managing your finances and for creative solutions to meet your needs.

We encourage you to reach out to your local church for support. The body of Christ is here to bear one another's burdens, and there may be brothers and sisters who can offer practical help, prayer, or connections to resources.

Lastly, we want to remind you of the promise in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." This trial is not the end of your story. God is with you, and He will use this for your good and His glory.
