Disciple of Prayer
Though I'm suffering from osteoarthritis and no longer able-bodied to work meaningful job I'm homeless and it appears housing authorities have stack their cards against me may Almighty God rebuke the unbelievers oyg if the way amen 🙏

We hear your cry for help in this difficult season of life, and we stand with you in prayer before the throne of God. The pain of osteoarthritis and the weight of homelessness are heavy burdens, but we know that the Lord sees your struggle and cares deeply for you. Psalm 34:18-19 reminds us, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all."

First, we must address the mention of "Almighty God" without the name of Jesus. There is no other name by which we can approach the Father or be saved. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we have access to God’s grace, mercy, and deliverance. If you have not yet placed your trust in Him, we urge you to do so today. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Salvation is a free gift, and it is the foundation for all the blessings and help God wants to pour into your life.

Now, let us pray for your situation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is enduring the pain of osteoarthritis and the hardship of homelessness. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who acts on behalf of the afflicted. We ask You to rebuke every spirit of delay, injustice, and oppression that may be at work in the systems meant to help him/her. We declare that no weapon formed against him/her shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him/her in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we ask for Your divine intervention in the housing authorities and systems that seem stacked against him/her. Soften hearts, open doors, and provide a safe and stable place to live. Lord, You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we trust You to meet this need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Give him/her favor with those who can assist, and let Your peace guard his/her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We also pray for healing in his/her body. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your touch to ease the pain of osteoarthritis. Strengthen his/her body where it is weak, and grant wisdom to those who can provide medical care or support. Remind him/her that even in weakness, Your power is made perfect (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Father, we rebuke any spirit of despair or hopelessness that may be trying to take root. Remind him/her that You are a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble (Psalm 9:9). Surround him/her with Your love and the support of Your people. Provide for every need, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual, and let him/her experience Your presence in tangible ways.

We declare that this season of homelessness is temporary, and that You have a plan for his/her life, a plan for hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Strengthen his/her faith to trust in You, even when the path is unclear. Help him/her to cast all anxieties on You, because You care for him/her (1 Peter 5:7).

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises and to seek out local churches or Christian organizations that may be able to provide practical assistance, such as shelter, food, or medical care. The body of Christ is called to care for one another, and we believe God will use His people to meet your needs. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and remember that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

If you are able, reach out to others who can pray with you and walk alongside you in this season. You are not alone, and God has not forgotten you. His timing is perfect, and His love for you is unshakable.

We hear your pain, the daily ache of osteoarthritis, the grinding exhaustion of housing systems that seem stacked against you, and the deep loneliness of not having a place to call home. It is a crushing weight, and we’re so sorry you’re facing it. Please know we are standing with you in prayer, not just for a breakthrough but for sustaining grace as you endure.

When our bodies won’t cooperate and every door feels slammed shut, hopelessness can set in quickly. It’s natural to feel that the whole system is against you and that nothing you do will matter. But God invites us to bring even that anger and despair to Him, He can handle it, and He sees you right where you are. Your worth is not measured by your housing status or your ability to work.

In practical terms, we’d gently encourage you to seek medical care for your osteoarthritis if you haven’t been able to. Compassionate treatment can ease pain and improve daily function, and that matters when every task feels like a battle. Also, consider reaching out to a local church that offers housing advocacy or a Christian legal aid service. Sometimes an advocate can spot an error in the process or help you appeal a decision that feels unfair. You don’t have to navigate this alone.

Lord Jesus, you know this beloved child of yours intimately. Bring relief to their body, and open a door to safe, stable housing that no one can shut. Surround them with people who will walk alongside them and fight for justice on their behalf. Grant them perseverance and a tangible sense of your presence tonight. In your name we pray. Amen.

It is a heavy trial to bear both bodily affliction and the want of a home, and I do not wonder that your soul cries out to the Lord in this hour of distress. Yet let us remember that the Lord reigns, and His sovereignty is the deep well from which all comfort is drawn. The same hand which permits your present hardships is the hand that was pierced for you upon the tree. Your homelessness is not beyond the watchful eye of Him who numbers the very hairs of your head, and your groaning under the weight of aching limbs is not unheard before the throne of grace.

Consider the eagle stirring up her nest: she tears away the soft down to teach her young to fly, and you may be in just such a school of Divine discipline. The Lord alone must be your instructor, for human helpers fail, but His training is perfect wisdom and infinite affection. Do not therefore let a root of bitterness spring up against those who seem to have stacked the cards against you. We are never to draw inferences of guilt or innocence from the outward strokes of providence, for the same sun that melts the glacier may harden the clay. Rather, plead that the Divine Presence itself would dissolve these difficulties; for when the Lord comes down, mountains flow at His feet.

As for the unbelievers who hinder, remember that the God of all grace can better than rebuke them, He can make them His friends. Think how Divine gentleness restrained David from sin, and how Divine Grace made the chief of sinners into the chief of apostles. Pray not merely that they be thrust out of the way, but that they may themselves be brought as suppliants to the cross. The one hope of the people of God is the Divine Presence; if we have that, no enemy can stand. The Lord still says, “Let my people go free,” and His word is power. Therefore spread your case before Him again this very hour. He has heard your prayer; the answer may tarry, but the Deliverer will not tarry a moment too long. Rest in the sovereignty that has chosen you in Christ, and look for the gentle interposition of His Spirit who will never leave you nor forsake you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
