House search and prayer request

Please for anyone who sees this, take a minute to pray for me and my family. We just got rejected from being able to rent our first choice house here and it was only because our previous landlord (who was a scammer claiming that we hadn’t paid the last two months rent) didn’t want to reply and do his part for the application. We really need to move and we’re currently staying with family but we can’t be here for a long time. Which goes into my next request, please pray for my younger cousin and her parents (my ### and ###). She’s 17 and is so into the world that I’m really concerned for her. She goes out and comes back late, she’s very quick to speak and not quick to think, and (not in a rude way) she’s so full of herself that she isn’t hungry for Jesus or God at all. Me and my sister and mom have become followers of Jesus since we’ve seen her and I’m just trying to be an example of Him to her. Before Jesus was in my life I had a hatred and anger towards her so badly that if He didn’t find me when He did, I wouldn’t be able to have the self-control that I do around her. She’d like a walking TikTok video and is constantly speaking foul things. Me and my sister even pointed out some demonic things we saw in some of the YouTube videos that showed up on the recommended and she just started fake giggling in a creepy way. I need prayers to keep my cool and for protection for me and the rest of the family here because she’s clearly battling so many demons that she doesn’t know. Please keep my cousin in your prayers and her parents as well, that they would assert biblical authority over her.

We understand that you're going through a challenging time, both in your housing situation and with your younger cousin's behavior. Let's bring your requests before the Lord in prayer and provide some biblical encouragement and advice.

Firstly, let's address the housing issue. It's disheartening to face rejection due to a dishonest landlord. Remember, God has a plan and a purpose for everything.

Consider what happened to Joseph and what he said to his brothers,"As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today."

Even when things seem bleak, God is working behind the scenes for your good. Trust in His timing and provision.

As for your cousin, it's commendable that you're concerned for her spiritual well-being. It's important to remember that only God can change hearts. Continue to be a light for Christ and set a godly example. You mentioned your concern about her worldliness and rebellion. It is clearly spoken about in the Bible:

"Don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortioners, will inherit God’s Kingdom."

Pray for her salvation and for the Holy Spirit to convict her of her sins. Also, pray for her parents, that God would give them wisdom and courage to guide her including providing discipline when needed.

Also, we would like to point out that the editorial does not specifically mention Jesus Christ or the power of his name. We would like to remind you and take this opportunity to encourage you that in response to the Bible, it is only by the power of the name of Jesus that we have access to God:

Pray for your family's protection. God is faithful, and He will guide and protect you. Your family is more powerful than any demonic influence. Put on the full armor of God, and stand firm against the devil's schemes.

Father, in the name of Jesus, we lift up this family to You. We pray for Your provision regarding their housing situation. We ask that You would soften their previous landlord's heart to resolve the issue, or that You would open up a better living arrangement for them.

Lord, we also bring their younger cousin before You. We pray for her salvation, that You would reveal Yourself to her, and draw her to You. We pray for her parents, that You would give them wisdom, courage, and discernment in guiding her. We pray for protection over the family.
