Father, we look to You and Your Word, Isaiah 8:20, rather than the noise and pollution of the world, 1 Jn 2:15-16. Thank You for working in my wife, my life, and for all that need Your guidance, "You are able to save forever those who come to God through Jesus, because He lives to make intercession for us," Heb 7:25, c.f. Rom 8:34. We agree with this husband, for his wife, children, family, friends, prayer and minister partners and and himself -- speak to us by any and every ordinary and extraordinary means: Father, with humble confidence, give her, them, us dreams and visions underlining your will for us in Christ Jesus, as You have done from ancient times: Joseph, Matt 1:20, Magi, Matt 2:12, Abimelech, Gen 20:3, Laban to remain neutral regarding Jacob, Gen 31:24, Nebuchadnezzar, Dan 2:1, Dan 4:5, Paul, Acts 19:6, and You will continue to though the future, Heb 13:8. Your arm is not too short, Num 11:23, especially to save, Isa 50:2, Isa 59:1. As little children, "we know You can do all things and no purpose of GOD can be thwarted,"Job 42:2. We agree with John, that light is stronger than darkness and not able to overcome it, John 1:5. We agree that "nothing shall be impossible with God," Luke 1:27, "The things impossible with man are possible with God," Mark 10:27.

Keep her, him, us and our churches, families, friends, pastors and government leaders from temptation, sin, evil, wrongdoing, lies, fear, evil people, deception, and the evil one, Lk 11:4, 1 Cor 8:1, Zeph 3:13, 2 Cor 13:7, 2 Cor 11:6, 2 Tim 3:5, 2 Tim 3:13, Tit 1:16, 2 Thes 3:2, Matt 24:4, Rev 12:9, Matt 6:13, John 17:15, 2 Thes 3:3. With thanksgiving we let our requests be made known and claim Your promise of incomprehensible peace, Phil 4:6-7. We thank You in advance, Mark 11:24, Heb 11:6, Jesus' Name, The Amen, and Faithful Witness, Rev 3:14, in Jesus ALL Your promises are Yes, and therefore we say, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20... Thank You and you all in Jesus' Name.

We join with you in this earnest desire for the Holy Spirit to speak clearly to your wife and to your family, and we thank God for your heart that longs for her to hear the Shepherd's voice above all the noise of this world.

Your prayer rightly places the Word of God first. To the law and to the testimony, if they do not speak according to this word, surely there is no morning for them Isaiah 8:20. We love that you are asking the Lord to use the Bible, messages from the pulpit, divine appointments, and godly counsel, for where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory Prov 11:14. The Scriptures are our sure foundation and any dream, vision, prophecy, or sign must be tested against them, for we are told to test the spirits, whether they are of God 1 John 4:1, and that even if an angel should preach another gospel, it is not to be received Gal 1:8.

We rejoice that you desire the Lord to lead as He has always led His people. We remember the promise, My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me John 10:27, and For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God Rom 8:14. We also remember that God has spoken in dreams and visions, For God speaks once, yes twice, though man pays no attention. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on men, in slumbering on the bed Job 33:14-15, and that in the last days, your sons and your daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions. Your old men will dream dreams Acts 2:17, which fulfills what was spoken through Joel, I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh Joel 2:28. Yet we also remember that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever Heb 13:8, and His arm is not too short to save Isa 59:1. Nothing is impossible with God Luke 1:37, and light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it John 1:5.

We affirm your marriage and your faithful intercession for your wife, for marriage is a holy covenant before God between a man and a woman, and a husband is called to love his wife even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for it Eph 5:25. We pray that your courtship within marriage would continue to be an example of Christlike love, prayer, and pursuit of holiness, and we thank God that you are seeking His will for her rather than seeking to control her, trusting the Holy Spirit to do the work only He can do.

We also thank you for praying in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12, and it is through Him we have access to the Father, for Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. He is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, seeing that he lives forever to make intercession for them Heb 7:25. It is only through faith in His shed blood and resurrection that we are reconciled to God.

So together we pray for you, your wife, your children, your family, and all those you mentioned.

Father, in the name of Jesus we come before Your throne of grace with humble confidence. We thank You that You still speak and that Your sheep can hear Your voice. We ask that You speak to this dear wife through Your holy Word first and foremost, give her a hunger for the Scriptures and illuminate them by Your Spirit. Speak to her through faithful preaching, through divine appointments, through the multitude of godly counselors, and if it pleases You, through dreams and visions that align perfectly with Your Word and bear witness to Jesus Christ. Lead her by Your Spirit, for we desire that she be led as a child of God.

We ask that You guard her and this whole family from deception, from the evil one, and from every false voice. We pray with the apostle, that You would deliver us from evil Matt 6:13 and that You would keep us from evil John 17:15, for You are faithful, who will establish us and guard us from the evil one 2 Thess 3:3. Do not let us be led astray, for many will come in Your name to deceive Matt 24:4. Let Your truth be a lamp to her feet and a light to her path Psalm 119:105.

Father, pour out Your peace upon this husband as he waits upon You. We claim Your promise that in nothing we should be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, our requests should be made known to You, and Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and our thoughts in Christ Jesus Phil 4:6-7. Help them both to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness Matt 6:33, trusting that You know how to give good gifts to Your children.

We thank You in advance, believing that You hear us when we ask according to Your will 1 John 5:14, and that whatever we ask in prayer, believing, we will receive Mark 11:24. We rest in the truth that all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us 2 Cor 1:20.

Continue to sanctify this marriage, make it strong in love, truth, and unity, and use it as a testimony of Your faithfulness to Your church, to Your family, and to a watching world. We ask all this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and only Savior, Amen.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. We hear how deeply you love your wife and want God's clear leading for her and your family. That humble, persistent prayer is a gift to her.

We believe the Holy Spirit still guides, comforts and teaches us. He loves to do it in a balanced way, with power and with truth and with love together. That balance helps us stay grounded, because what the Spirit shows will never pull away from what God has already said in Scripture, and it will bear quiet fruit like love, peace and patience over time. The other ways you mentioned, a sermon that lands right on time, wise counsel from faithful people, even a dream, God can use any of them, but we weigh them together and test them in community and in the Word.

A simple next step that helps many couples is to keep seeking together, regularly opening the Bible and praying aloud for each other, and inviting one or two trusted, mature believers or your pastor to listen and pray with you both. Writing down what you sense God is highlighting and revisiting it together after a few days can bring clarity without pressure.

Father we lift this husband, his wife, their children and family before You. Draw each of them closer to Jesus, give them quiet confidence in Your voice, protect them from confusion and fear, and fill their home with Your peace as they seek You together. Guide their steps in Your will. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your earnest desire that the Holy Spirit should speak to your wife and to your household is a right and holy burden to bring before the mercy seat, and it is good that you look to the Word rather than to the noise and pollution of the world.

It is a blessed thing to put your ear down to the promises of Scripture till you hear God speaking through them to your soul. The mere letter of the Word alone will kill, but when we hear God's voice speaking in it, then it has power which it could not possess otherwise. That Word comes to us with all the freshness and force as if it were uttered anew tonight, for wherein we speak according to Holy Scripture, it is as much God's Word as if God Himself spoke. Take heed therefore how you hear. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God, and it is God's usual way to save men by their constantly, attentively, earnestly hearing that Word. There is no merit in merely hearing, but the Word deserves good hearing, for it comes from God and it is about your immortal soul and about Him who died for sinners.

You ask that the Lord would speak by any and every means, by dreams and visions and signs. Remember that God is sovereign and His arm is not shortened that it cannot save, and He has in times past spoken in wondrous ways to Joseph and to others according to His will. Yet we are to hear above all the voice out of the cloud which says, This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased, hear Him. Oh to be content with hearing Christ and letting other voices go into silence. Is He God's Son, then hear Him. Is He God's beloved, then hear Him. No other voice will suffice unless He speak to us, and His voice is to be heard in the Scriptures, tried by the law and the testimony, for to that we must look, as Isaiah has said. Separate between what is God's and what is ours, and test every impression, every counsel, every dream by that sure Word, lest we be led by siren songs of temptation.

We join you in praying for your wife, your children, your family and your fellow labourers in prayer, that you may be kept from temptation and from evil and from the deceit of the evil one, and that you may be kept from wrongdoing and from fear. We pray that you may with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God, and that His peace which passes all understanding may keep your hearts and minds. We pray that you will cry unto God with your voice, even unto God with your voice, for when men grow earnest they use the voice as well as the mind, and He gives ear unto us.

Above all we pray that each of you may know that you are able to be saved forever through Jesus Christ, because He lives to make intercession for us. The blood of Jesus Christ, God's dear Son, cleanses us from all sin. It is cheap faith to take Christ as the saints Savior, but it is the faith of God's elect to take Him as the sinner's Savior. Where God begins His work He will complete it, and He will not cast out His pupil though He chasten him. May your wife and your household hear the voice of the Shepherd, for His sheep hear His voice, and may you all hear with heed, not fitfully or carelessly, but with simple and lowly hearts desiring to know His truth that you may sincerely live it. The light is stronger than darkness, and nothing shall be impossible with God.
