Holy Spirit Open Our The Bible, Lk 24:45 Messages from Pulpit, Rom 10:17 Divine Appointments, Godly Counsel Isa 11:2 Visions & Dreams...

LORD, we ask for The Holy Spirit to speak to us in every way by abiding in You and Your Words abiding in us, John 15:7, abiding in Your love, John 15:10, Your Word as a lamp to our feet, and a light unto our path, Ps 119:105, To speak according to the Law and The Testimony, Isaiah 8:20, Holy Spirit Visions while Awake ️ Dreams While Sleeping, Job 33:12-17; Matt 2:12, Prophecy, Joel 2:28, Num 12:6, Acts 16:9... Father, we come as little children in faith, asking the goal of our instruction, Love from a pure heart, a sincere faith and a blameless conscience, 1 Tim 1:5. We look to You and Your Word, Isaiah 8:20, rather than to all we see and hear from the noise and pollution of the world, and thank You, "You are able to save forever those who come to God through Jesus, because He lives to make intercession for us," Heb 7:25, c.f. Rom 8:34.

We agree, Matt 18:19, with this husband for himself, his wayward wife, children, family, extended family, ***Prayer & ministry partners, church leaders, churches and team members -- You speak to us by any and every ordinary and extraordinary means: give warning dreams, as it is written in Job 33:14, "For God does speak—now one way, now another—though no one perceives it. 15 In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on people, as they slumber in their beds, 16 He may speak in their ears and terrify them with warnings, 17 to turn them from wrongdoing and keep them from pride, 18 to preserve them from the pit, their lives from perishing by the sword." Again, as with the affairs concerning our father, Abraham you warned Abimelech to keep him from death, Gen 20:3.

Like Abraham, we are imperfect but growing, and we believe Your promises, in fact we are fully persuaded You are able to fulfill what You promise, Rom 4:21, granting us everything we need for both life and godliness, 2 Peter 1:3-4. Pour out Your Holy Spirit on these named above, as prophesied in in Joel 2:28, “And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old will dream dreams, your youth will see visions. 29 Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days," Joel 2:28-29, c.f. Acts 2:17-18. Father, with humble confidence, give her, them, us dreams and visions underlining your will for us in Christ Jesus, as You have done from ancient times on those saved Joseph, Matt 1:20, Magi, Matt 2:12, and unsaved alike, Abimelech, Gen 20:3, Laban to remain neutral regarding Jacob, Gen 31:24, Nebuchadnezzar, Dan 2:1, Dan 4:5, until present, Acts 19:6, and You will continue to though the future, Heb 13:8. Your arm is not too short, Num 11:23, especially to save, Isa 50:2, Isa 59:1.

Again, as little children, "we know You can do all things and no purpose of Yours can be thwarted,"Job 42:2 We agree with John, that light is stronger than darkness and not able to overcome it, John 1:5. We agree that "nothing shall be impossible with God," Luke 1:27, "The things impossible with man are possible with God," Mark 10:27. Keep her, him, us and our churches, families, friends, pastors and government leaders from temptation, sin, evil, wrongdoing, lies, fear, evil people, deception, and the evil one, Lk 11:4, 1 Cor 8:1, Zeph 3:13, 2 Cor 13:7, 2 Cor 11:6, 2 Tim 3:5, 2 Tim 3:13, Tit 1:16, 2 Thes 3:2, Matt 24:4, Rev 12:9, Matt 6:13, John 17:15, 2 Thes 3:3. With thanksgiving we let our requests be made known and claim Your incomprehensible peace as promised, Phil 4:6-7. We thank You in advance, Mark 11:24, Heb 11:6, Jesus' Name, The Amen, and Faithful Witness, Rev 3:14, in Jesus ALL Your promises are Yes, and therefore we say, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20...

We join with you in this earnest cry for the Holy Spirit to open eyes and speak clearly, and we praise God for your hunger to abide in Him and to have His Word abide in you. You have prayed according to Scripture and we agree with you that His Word is the sure foundation for hearing His voice.

We love your desire that God would speak in every biblical way, through the opened Scriptures as in Luke 24:45 where it says He opened their minds, that they might understand the Scriptures, through preaching as in Rom 10:17 that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ, through godly counsel as in Isa 11:2, through the still small voice, and also through dreams and visions when it pleases Him. We affirm with you that God is sovereign and can speak as He wills, as in Job 33:14-15 that God speaks once, yes twice, though man pays no attention. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on men, in slumbering on the bed, and as in Joel 2:28 that it will happen afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; and your sons and your daughters will prophesy. Your old men will dream dreams. Your young men will see visions. And as fulfilled in Acts 2:17.

Yet we also gently remind together that every impression, dream, vision, and prophecy must be tested by the written Word, for it is our lamp and light. As you quoted, Ps 119:105 says Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path, and Isa 8:20 says To the law and to the testimony If they do not speak according to this word, surely there is no morning for them. The Holy Spirit will never contradict Scripture, for He is the Spirit of truth who will guide you into all truth as in John 16:13, and His leading will always produce love from a pure heart and a good conscience and sincere faith as in 1 Tim 1:5.

We especially lift up this husband, his wayward wife, their children, family and extended family, and all prayer and ministry partners, church leaders and churches and team members that you mentioned. We know God's heart for marriage, that it is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, created and ordained by God. As Mal 2:16 teaches us that God hates divorce, and as Matt 19:6 says What therefore God has joined together, do not let man tear apart. We pray for this marriage to be honored, protected and restored for the glory of God. We pray for this wife, that the Lord would draw her back to Himself first, and then to her covenant vows. We pray that any fornication or adultery, any unfaithfulness in thought or deed, would be brought into the light, confessed and forsaken, for we are taught in 1 Cor 6:18 to flee sexual immorality, and in Heb 13:4 that marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the bed undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers. We pray she would be kept from temptation and from the evil one, and that she would receive warning dreams if the Lord so wills, to turn her from wrongdoing and keep her from pride, to preserve her soul from the pit as in Job 33:17-18, just as God warned Abimelech in Gen 20:3 to keep him from sin and death.

We pray also for this husband to abide in Christ and in His love as in John 15:7 and John 15:10, to remain patient, faithful, and full of love that is not easily provoked and keeps no record of wrong, to love his wife as Christ loved the assembly as in Eph 5:25, not with bitterness but with intercession and forgiveness. We pray for the children and families to be covered by the peace of God which surpasses all understanding as in Phil 4:7, and to be kept from deception, lies, fear and evil people as you have prayed.

We thank God that He is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through Him, since He ever lives to make intercession for them as in Heb 7:25, and that nothing will be impossible with God as in Luke 1:37, and that all things are possible with God as in Mark 10:27. We are fully assured that what He has promised, He is also able to perform as in Rom 4:21, and that His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness as in 2 Pet 1:3. We rejoice that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever as in Heb 13:8, and His arm is not shortened that it cannot save as in Isa 59:1, and that He can do all things, and no purpose of His can be restrained as in Job 42:2, and that the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it as in John 1:5.

So together we pray, Father in heaven, we come as little children in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, through whom alone we have access to You, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved as in Acts 4:12. Pour out Your Spirit upon this husband, his wife, their children, their households, and all who labor with them in prayer. Open their eyes to understand the Scriptures, open their ears to hear Your Word preached and taught faithfully, grant them divine appointments and godly counsel, and if it pleases You, grant dreams and visions that underline Your will in Christ Jesus, always in agreement with Your Word. Convict of sin, lead to repentance, grant a pure heart and sincere faith, turn the wayward heart home, heal this marriage, make it a testimony of Your redeeming grace, protect the children, build up the churches and leaders in truth, and keep us all from temptation and deliver us from the evil one as in Matt 6:13. Let Your will be done, let Your kingdom come in this family, and let Your incomprehensible peace guard hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. We ask this with thanksgiving, believing we have received as in Mark 11:24, and trusting that every promise of God is Yes in Him as in 2 Cor 1:20. In the name of Jesus, the Amen and faithful witness as in Rev 3:14, we pray, Amen.

We hear how deeply you long for the Lord to make His leading unmistakable for you, your wife, your children and everyone connected to your family and ministry. Coming to Him as little children, asking for a pure heart and clear direction, is a beautiful place to be, especially when a marriage feels strained and the future feels unclear.

We love your desire to stay rooted in Christ and in His Word while also asking Him to speak in whatever way He chooses. In seasons like this it helps to hold what we sense or dream or hear alongside the steady light of Scripture and the wisdom of trusted, godly counsel around you. That kind of humble checking brings peace and keeps us from being tossed around by every impression or by the noise of the world.

A gentle next step that many have found steadying is to keep bringing what you believe you are hearing to one or two mature pastors or prayer partners who know you and your wife well, and to keep praying and listening together as a household when possible. Staying in that close fellowship gives the Holy Spirit room to confirm, redirect or deepen what He is doing over time.

Father, we lift this husband, his wife, their children and their wider family and church to You. Draw each one closer to Jesus, guard their hearts from confusion and harm, and give them quiet confidence as they abide in You. Lead them step by step in Your will and let Your peace rest on their home. In Jesus name, amen.

Your longing that the Holy Spirit would open the Scriptures and speak to you, to this husband, to his wife and children and household, is itself a good and hopeful sign, for it shows a desire to abide in Christ and to have His words abide in you, and to walk by the Word as a lamp to the feet and a light to the path.

We do well to take heed how we hear. The surest voice from heaven is not a whisper in the night nor a vision while awake, but the voice of the Beloved Son speaking in the Scriptures. The Father said from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased, hear Him. That still small voice of love comes to us now most plainly through the law and the testimony, through the opening of the Bible as on the road to Emmaus when He opened their understanding, and through the preaching of the Word by which faith comes. It is better for you to hear God's Word from His servants than to desire an angel or one risen from the dead, for God has given us His Son and His finished Word, and to hear Him is life.

We do not deny that God has warned by dreams. Pilate's wife suffered much in a dream because of the Just Man, and that warning was God's mercy to her husband, though he trifled with it and then condemned the innocent against light and conscience. As in the days of Abimelech and of Laban, of Joseph and the Magi, God is able to speak in this way, for His arm is not shortened and nothing is impossible with Him. Yet we must not seek to live upon dreams and impressions, but upon every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. Give me but a word out of God's mouth and I can live upon it. All other voices must be tried by that Word, lest we be led by noise and pollution of the world or by deception.

Therefore we join you in prayer according to the Scriptures you have named, and we pray with thanksgiving for that great promise that He is able to save forever those who come to God through Jesus, because He ever lives to make intercession for us.

We pray that the Lord would cause you all to hear Christ and to trust Him alone for salvation, for there is no other name by which we must be saved. We pray that He would grant repentance and faith where there is wandering, and that He would turn hearts from wrongdoing and keep them from pride, to preserve them from the pit. We pray for this husband and for his wife, that the Lord would remember His holy covenant of marriage, which is the lifelong union of one man and one woman, and that where there has been waywardness He would bring deep conviction, godly sorrow, and a return to faithfulness and purity, for sex and dwelling together belong within that covenant alone. We pray for children and family and extended family, for ministry partners and church leaders, that the Lord would keep them from temptation and from evil, from lies and fear and the snares of the evil one, and would establish them in love from a pure heart and a blameless conscience and a sincere faith.

We ask that the Lord would open the Bible to you, open your ears in the preaching of the gospel, and give you godly counsel according to Isaiah's wisdom, that you may be kept from sin and walk in His light which darkness cannot overcome. May Divine Grace constrain you all to listen to that voice which says, Go and sin no more, and to find His incomprehensible peace as you make your requests known to God.

We commend you to Him who is the same yesterday and today and forever, trusting that what He has promised He is able also to perform, and that He will give you everything needed for life and godliness as you abide in His love.
