🙇🏻 Holy Spirit of Wisdom & Revelation to Know God, The Hope of His Calling, Riches of His Inheritance & His Exceedingly Great Strength, Eph 1:15-23

Nochaeld

Beloved
🙏 For this reason, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which exists among you and your love for all the saints, WE DO NOT CEASE giving thanks for you, while making mention of you in my prayers, that the God of Our Lord Jesus Christ, The Glorious Father, may give to us The Ho]ly Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation to know Him better (Epignonowskow -- deep, personal and intimate acquaintance). Grant the eyes of our heart to be enlightened so we may know the hope of Your calling, the riches of Your glorious inheritance those You called out of darkness to light, and the surpassing greatness of Your power toward us who believe, which You exerted when You raised Christ (The Anointed and Promised King -- Messiah -- Like King David referred to King Saul as "The Lord's Anointed," -- only Jesus is "The True David of Judah's Line," "The Lord's TRUE Anointed") from the dead and seated Him at Your Right Hand in the Heavenly Places, (Right Hand of Power, Dan 7:13-14), far above all other rule, authority, power and dominion, both in this age and the age to come, and everything having been put under subjection under His feet, The Father has made Him the Head of over all things and given You (all) power for the church, which is which is Your body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. Thank You and you all in Jesus' Name (Ephesians 1:15-23).

We join you in lifting up this powerful prayer rooted in Ephesians 1:15-23, asking the Holy Spirit to grant us wisdom, revelation, and a deeper, more intimate knowledge of God. What a beautiful cry of the heart, to know Him more, to grasp the hope of His calling, the riches of His inheritance, and the surpassing greatness of His power at work in us who believe!

The truth you’ve declared is profound: Jesus Christ is the Lord’s true Anointed, the Messiah, the risen and exalted King seated at the right hand of the Father, far above all rule and authority. His name alone holds power, salvation, and access to the Father. As Acts 4:12 reminds us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" It is only through faith in Jesus Christ, His death, burial, and resurrection, that we are reconciled to God and empowered to walk in His purposes.

We rebuke any spirit of confusion, doubt, or distraction that would seek to dim the eyes of our hearts from seeing the fullness of who Christ is and what He has accomplished. The enemy would love to keep us from grasping the magnitude of our inheritance in Him, but we stand firm on the truth of God’s Word. As Colossians 2:15 declares, "Having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it." Christ’s victory is our victory!

Let us pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the true and living Messiah, the Head of the Church, and the King of all kings. We thank You for the gift of the Holy Spirit, who leads us into all truth and reveals the deep things of God. Lord, we ask that You would open the eyes of our hearts afresh today. Enlighten us to know the hope of Your calling, the glorious future You have prepared for us. Let us grasp the riches of Your inheritance in the saints, the immeasurable greatness of Your power toward us who believe, the same power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him at Your right hand.

Father, we reject every lie of the enemy that would seek to diminish our understanding of who You are and what You have done. We declare that Jesus Christ is Lord over all, over every principality, power, and dominion, both now and forever. Strengthen us to walk in the fullness of our identity in Him, as members of His body, the Church. Fill us with boldness to proclaim His name and to live as lights in this dark world.

We pray for a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit upon Your people, that we would know You more intimately, love You more deeply, and serve You more faithfully. May our lives reflect the glory of Your Son, and may we never grow weary in pursuing the knowledge of You. Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and King. Amen."

Beloved, let us press into this prayer daily. The more we seek to know Him, the more we will see His power at work in and through us. Do not settle for a surface-level faith when God invites you into the depths of His love and purpose. As Jeremiah 29:13 assures us, "You shall seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart." Keep seeking, keep knocking, and keep believing, He is faithful to reveal Himself to those who earnestly desire Him.

We’re grateful you shared this prayer with us, it’s a powerful, Scripture-soaked cry that aligns our hearts with exactly what God wants to give. Lifting one another up in the very words of Ephesians 1 is no small thing; it’s the kind of intercession that shapes us even as we offer it.

The hunger to know God more deeply, to have the eyes of your heart flooded with light, is itself evidence that His Spirit is already at work in you. This isn’t a one-time request; it’s the rhythm of a life spent leaning into Him. Spiritual growth often happens imperceptibly, like a seed stretching toward the sun over time, but it is real and lasting. Continue praying these truths over yourself, your loved ones, and your church family, speaking them aloud, meditating on them, and letting them fill your imagination. You might even invite a few trusted friends to pray this passage together regularly; there’s something uniquely strengthening when we agree together for God’s wisdom and revelation.

We join our hearts with yours now:

Father, thank You for this sincere desire for the Spirit of wisdom and revelation. We ask that You give us a deepening, personal knowledge of Christ, that our hearts would be enlightened to know the hope of Your calling, the riches of Your glorious inheritance, and the surpassing greatness of Your power toward us who believe. Let that resurrection power steady us and fill our worship and our daily steps. Keep drawing us nearer, until we see Jesus clearly and reflect Him more fully. In His name we pray, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

What a heavenly prayer you have lifted up, pleading the very words of Scripture, that the eyes of your understanding may be enlightened! For it is the delight of our God to reveal Himself to His people, not as a passing stranger, but in deep, personal, intimate acquaintance. You ask for the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, and this is a petition after the divine heart, for the Lord takes no pleasure in the ignorance of His children; He would have them know the hope of His calling, the riches of His glorious inheritance, and the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe. And well may you seek such knowledge, for this is no mere intellectual notion but the very life of the soul. As I have said, to know Him is to know the power of His resurrection, and that resurrection proves without a doubt the faith once delivered to the saints. It is the seal of the new covenant, that covenant which is ever before God, like the ark seen in His Temple, surrounded by tokens of His power, lightnings, voices, thunderings, an earthquake, and great hail, all engaged to keep His promises sure. The covenant is not a thing of shifting shadows; its Surety is the Son of God, who fails not, and changes not, bone of our bone and yet Light of Light, very God of very God. In Him, all the wisdom of God is displayed, and all the power of God is made yours. He is the power of God and the wisdom of God, not only in His person but in His gospel and in His indwelling within the heart. When He comes to reign upon the throne of your inner man, He brings with Him that exceeding great strength which raised Him from the dead and set Him at the right hand of the Majesty on high.

Now, do not think it strange that such knowledge is to be sought with continual prayer and diligent use of means. Even the Apostle Paul, aged and in prison, desired his books and especially the parchments; he who had been caught up into the third heaven yet craved the written Word. So you do well to search the Scriptures, to cry for the anointing of the Holy Ghost, and to wait upon the Lord in the place of prayer. The Holy Spirit, whom you invoke, delights to take the things of Christ and show them to His people. He will open the Temple of God in your own soul, and there you shall see the ark of His covenant, and know that the Lord your God has betrothed you unto Himself for ever. He is the Husband of His people, and He has not cast off the wife of His youth; rather, He comes loaded with mercy, forgiving all iniquities and healing all diseases. When a man feels his sins forgiven, then the very hills and rocks seem to proclaim the presence of a gracious God. And though the Almighty hurls His thunderbolts against the proud, yet toward His own beloved He comes with whole heart and whole soul, rejoicing over them to do them good. Yea, as I have declared, the living God throws His whole being into the work of saving and blessing His people; His wisdom, His power, His love, His immutability are all engaged for you. He alone is your rock and your salvation, and therefore you need not fear; for if God be for you, who can be against you? The throne of God and of the Lamb is the throne of grace to which you come boldly, and that throne shall be in your heart as the seat of government and the source of all supply. Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing!

Go on, then, beloved, to seek this intimate acquaintance with your Lord. Since the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, has already given you the firstfruits of faith and love to all the saints, He will most surely complete what He has begun. The very fact that you hunger after deeper knowledge is proof of His work within. He will not make a full end of you, nor cast you off, for His heart goes after His people. And as you press forward, expect that the Spirit of wisdom will cause you to grasp more firmly the hope laid up for you in heaven, to taste more richly the inheritance of the saints in light, and to feel more mightily the working of that strength which subdues all things to Christ. Let creation sing, let the mountains break forth into singing, for the Lord has comforted His people and will show them His glory. Only fix your gaze wholly upon the Lord Jesus, for doctrine without Christ is but an empty tomb; but when the Spirit reveals Him, you shall know Him in the fellowship of His sufferings and the power of His resurrection. So may it be with you, in Jesus’ name.

You ask for the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of God, and this is a right and holy request, for it is exactly what the blessed Apostle prayed for the Ephesians. Yet consider: this wisdom is not a thing that words can teach, nor can human reason grasp it. The Spirit must open the eyes of your heart. When Paul speaks of wisdom, he means not the cleverness of this world which is passing away, but Christ Himself who was made unto us wisdom from God, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption. If you would know God deeply, that intimate, personal knowledge the Scripture calls epignosis, then you must look to Christ, for in Him are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. The worldly wise are left confounded, because they seek understanding by their own strength, but God has made foolish the wisdom of this age. Through what seemed foolishness, the Cross, He saved those who believe, and that very Cross is the demonstration of ineffable power and wisdom.

So your prayer is not for a new doctrine or a fleeting feeling, but for the Spirit to illumine what Christ has already secured. The hope of His calling is not an earthly prosperity or a kingdom that fades; it is the hope of drawing near to God, of entering within the veil, of standing at the very throne of the Father with the angels. That is the better hope brought in by the gospel. And the riches of His glorious inheritance? It is not gold or land, but that you yourselves are His inheritance, and He has made you a people for His own possession, that you might share in the glory of the saints. The eyes of your heart must be enlightened to see this, because outward appearances will forever lie to you. The wise men saw only a poor mother and a manger, yet they worshipped the God in flesh, for their hearts were illuminated. So it must be with you.

As for the exceeding greatness of His power, do not think of it as some force you might wield or feel in signs and wonders. It is the very power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him far above all rule and dominion. That same power is toward you who believe, not to grant worldly success, but to strengthen you with might in the inner man, to keep you unshaken in trials, to silence the carnal reasonings that rise against faith. It is the Holy Spirit who strengthens, and no other. You cannot lay hold of these things by human effort; it is the Spirit who gives revelation. So let your prayer continue without ceasing, as Paul prayed, giving thanks and making mention of the saints. But let it be joined with love toward all the saints, for the knowledge of His love, its breadth, length, height, depth, is grasped only when you are rooted and grounded in love, together with all the saints. The mystery hidden for ages is now made known: Christ in you, the hope of glory. Cling to Him alone, and the Spirit will teach you what no ear has heard.

Your prayer rises with the very words the Apostle Paul poured out for the believers in Ephesus, and it is a cry the Lord delights to answer. You are asking for the one thing that truly matters: not more information about God, but the Spirit of wisdom and revelation to know Him personally, deeply, intimately. That kind of knowledge can never be reached by human intellect or worldly reasoning. The wisdom of the world searches and comes up empty, but God has prepared for those who love Him what no eye has seen and no mind has conceived. It takes the Holy Spirit opening the eyes of your heart, enlightening you from within, to grasp who God is and what He has freely given us.

The power you are asking to know is the same power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him far above every rule and authority. That is the exceedingly great strength now at work toward us who believe. It is not a distant, theoretical force; it is the very Spirit who dwells in you, the same Spirit of the sevenfold fullness rested upon Jesus, the Spirit of wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge, and the fear of the Lord. Too many settle for a shallow acquaintance, but you are pressing into the depths, asking to know the hope of His calling, the riches of His glorious inheritance among those called out of darkness into His marvelous light.

Let that hope anchor you. The inheritance is not just a future possession; it is the reality of being joined to Christ, who is the beginning of the new creation, the faithful witness who has gone ahead. The church is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all, and you are part of that. The same power that transforms a life once without hope into a vessel of His grace is still moving. It is the Spirit's work to take what is true in Christ and make it living and real within you, restoring, delivering, and conforming you to His image.

Keep asking. Keep seeking this revelation. The God who is and was and is to come wants to be known by you. As you continue to set aside the wisdom and the spirit of this world, the Spirit of God will unveil more and more of the glory of Jesus, and your heart will be filled with the unquenchable love that many waters cannot drown. May the Father of glory grant you this, that you may know Him.
