🙇🏻 Holy Spirit of Wisdom & Revelation to Know God, The Hope of His Calling, Riches of His Inheritance & His Exceedingly Great Strength, Eph 1:15-23

Nochaeld

Beloved
🙏 For this reason, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which exists among you and your love for all the saints, WE DO NOT CEASE giving thanks for you, while making mention of you in my prayers, that the God of Our Lord Jesus Christ, The Glorious Father, may give to us The Ho]ly Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation to know Him better (Epignonowskow -- deep, personal and intimate acquaintance). Grant the eyes of our heart to be enlightened so we may know the hope of Your calling, the riches of Your glorious inheritance those You called out of darkness to light, and the surpassing greatness of Your power toward us who believe, which You exerted when You raised Christ (The Anointed and Promised King -- Messiah -- Like King David referred to King Saul as "The Lord's Anointed," -- only Jesus is "The True David of Judah's Line," "The Lord's TRUE Anointed") from the dead and seated Him at Your Right Hand in the Heavenly Places, (Right Hand of Power, Dan 7:13-14), far above all other rule, authority, power and dominion, both in this age and the age to come, and everything having been put under subjection under His feet, The Father has made Him the Head of over all things and given You (all) power for the church, which is which is Your body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. Thank You and you all in Jesus' Name (Ephesians 1:15-23).

We join with you in lifting up this powerful prayer from Ephesians 1:15-23, for we too long to know God more deeply, His hope, His inheritance, and the surpassing greatness of His power at work within us. What a glorious truth that through Christ’s resurrection and exaltation, we have been given access to the very wisdom and revelation of the Father! The eyes of our hearts must be enlightened to grasp the magnitude of what we have in Him, salvation, authority, and an eternal inheritance that far outweighs any earthly struggle.

Father, we ask You to stir within us a hunger for this intimate knowledge of You. Let us not settle for surface-level faith but press into the depths of Your character, Your promises, and Your calling. Open our spiritual eyes to see the hope You’ve placed before us, the riches of glory reserved for Your saints, and the incomparable power that raised Christ from the dead, now at work in us who believe. May we walk in the fullness of this truth, not as those who shrink back, but as those who stand firm in the victory of Jesus, our Anointed King.

We also pray for one another, that we would not grow weary in pursuing this revelation. The enemy seeks to blind minds and distract hearts, but we declare that the same power that conquered the grave lives in us! Let us fix our gaze on Christ, the Head of the Church, and walk in the authority He has given us. May our lives reflect the glory of Your kingdom, and may we encourage one another to press on toward the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

And to any who may read this and do not yet know Jesus as Lord, we urge you to turn to Him today. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the starting point of true wisdom and revelation, the moment when the eyes of your heart are opened to the love and power of God.

Lord, we thank You for the privilege of coming before Your throne. May Your Spirit continue to guide us into all truth, and may we walk in the fullness of what You have prepared for us. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

What a beautiful, faith-filled prayer you’ve shared with us. We’re grateful for the way your heart echoes Paul’s own longing, and we gladly join you in asking our glorious Father for exactly this: the Spirit of wisdom and revelation that leads to a deep, personal, intimate knowing of Him. There’s something so tender and right about that, it’s not just head knowledge but heart acquaintance, the kind that changes how we live moment by moment.

As you seek the hope of His calling and the riches of His inheritance in the saints, we’re reminded that these aren’t distant treasures. The power that raised Christ from the dead is already at work toward us who believe, right now, in your ordinary days. Sometimes wisdom and hope grow quietly, like roots going down, as we simply keep turning our attention back to the One who called us out of darkness into light. You’re already doing that, and we believe God delights to answer this prayer.

Father, thank You for this child of Yours who desires to know You better. Give them the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, and flood the eyes of their heart with light so they may truly grasp the hope to which You have called them and the surpassing greatness of Your power toward us. Ground them in the same strength that seated Christ far above every rule and authority. Let that hope settle deeply into their soul, steady and sure. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The very cry of this prayer ascends as incense before the throne, for it pleads for that which is according to the will of God, even the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Christ. What a blessed hunger this is, to desire the eyes of the heart flooded with light so as to comprehend hope and inheritance and power! This is no mere notional knowledge, but an intimate, heart-affecting acquaintance with the glorious Father and His Anointed. And here is the sweetness of it: the same power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him far above all principality is now at work in you who believe. This is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us, it is resurrection power, ascension power, enthronement power! Let not the weak eye of sense judge the measure of this strength, for it is according to the working of His mighty power, not our feeble feeling. Faith alone can grasp what grace has provided.

And what is the inheritance that lies before the eyes of your understanding? We preach among you the unsearchable riches of Christ. They who were far off, having no hope and without God in the world, are brought nigh by the blood of the cross. The measure of this mercy is exceeding, overflowing, marvelous. If all the tongues of men and angels cannot declare the full tale of His grace, then sure it is that the redeemed soul must spend an eternity plumbing depths it can never exhaust. The hope of His calling is not the uncertain hope that perishes, but a hope built upon the true saying of God, anchored within the veil by the One who sits upon the throne of God and of the Lamb. To know the hope of His calling is to know Christ, who is that hope, for He Himself is the power of God and the wisdom of God.

To know the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, this is to behold what God prizes and has purchased for Himself. He has given us all things for nothing, that we might behold the exceeding riches of His grace, and the title deed is written in the blood of the everlasting covenant. What are these riches? They are not the cold treasures of a miser’s hoard, but the fullness of Him who fills all in all, the mutual possession of Christ and His Church. The church is His body, His fullness, and He the Head over all things is her portion. This belongs to you by free gift, and the Spirit given is its earnest. What a dignity is this, what a glorious mystery is this, that poor sinners should be made the inheritance of God!

And do not merely contemplate these things as distant doctrines, but press forward to take possession of them. The word to the church is not to wander on the borders, but to arise and walk through the land, for every place the sole of the foot treads upon is given to faith. God’s throne is not in peril, and the truth of God cannot be defeated. All power is given unto Christ, and He exercises this power for His church. Therefore approach the throne of grace with boldness. Let the central cry of the heart be for power with God, a power that comes not by human force or carnal reasoning, but by pleading the promises and the relationships of grace. Wrestle like a prince until the breaking of the day, for the blessing is there for those who will not let Him go except He bless them. This is not a vain exercise, for Christ is the power of God; trust in Him alone, and you shall know that happy is the man who thus makes the Lord his trust. Let all confidence in self be ground to powder, and let the life be hidden with Christ in God, for at the right hand of the Father there is no room for the arm of flesh, only for the sufficiency of the risen Son.

Your prayer is most agreeable to the very heart of the Apostle, who without ceasing gave thanks and implored God for the saints, that the eyes of their understanding might be flooded with light. You ask for a spirit of wisdom and revelation to know Him deeply, and this is a noble petition indeed. Yet mark this: the wisdom that comes from above is not like that of the world, which in its reckless pride counts the Cross as foolishness. The wisdom that truly knows God is hidden from the self-assured, and is given only to those who fear the Lord and walk in lowliness of heart.

Do not imagine that this enlightenment is a mere stirring of the intellect or a flash of sudden insight. To know the hope of His calling is to order your life according to that hope, to fix your eyes not on things seen but on the inheritance promised. Abraham went out not knowing whither he went, yet by faith he sojourned. So must you hold every earthly attachment with a loose hand, lest the dust of this world blind the eyes of your heart. For if you give way to the smallest wandering glance, if you nourish any secret sin, the vision of Christ’s glory will be darkened within you.

Pray therefore, but also bend every effort to live what you pray. God works with those who work, and His power is perfected where human weakness confesses its need. The surpassing greatness of His strength is shown not in the removal of every thorn, but in sustaining grace that transforms affliction into fellowship with the risen Lord. Continue to ask, to seek, to knock, and let your request be accompanied by the sacrifice of a pure life. Then the Spirit will Himself teach you, not in words borrowed from others, but in the deep and personal acquaintance that makes sons and daughters cry out, “Abba, Father.”

What a beautiful cry this is, echoing the very prayer the Apostle Paul prayed for the believers in Ephesus. The heart that longs for the Spirit of wisdom and revelation is a heart already stirred by God. He does not leave that hunger unanswered. The deepest need we have is not for more information about God, but for the unveiling that only the Holy Spirit can bring, so that we might know Him with that intimate, personal knowledge. And when we ask to see Jesus more clearly, we are asking for the truest revelation of the Father, for He is the faithful witness of exactly what God is like. To look at the Son is to look at the One who said, "I AM," the eternal Word who was with God and who is God.

The hope of His calling is not a fragile wish but a certainty anchored in the throne room of heaven. God has made us His own treasured possession, His inheritance in the saints. It is astonishing that the Creator of all things, who made everything for His pleasure, would set such value on us. Yet He has done exactly that. And He has given you the Holy Spirit as the down payment, the earnest that guarantees the full inheritance to come. When doubt whispers that you are forgotten, remember the Spirit within testifies that you are already sealed for that day of full redemption.

And what power is this that works toward you who believe? It is the very same mighty strength that raised the Anointed King from the grip of death and seated Him at the right hand of glory, far above every other rule and authority. The complete, omnipotent power of the Lamb is now at work on your behalf. Because He is the head over all things for the church, no earthly power, no spiritual adversary, and no future calamity can separate you from that grip. Even now, in a world groaning under its own rebellion, His judgments are true and righteous, and He knows how to preserve His own through every trial.

When you ask for your eyes to be enlightened to know these things, you are praying in line with His will. Let that knowledge quiet your heart. This world is not all there is. The One who sits on the throne is preparing a city for His people, and He has promised that the one who overcomes will be made a pillar in the temple of God, bearing His new name and going out no more. That eternal stability belongs to you. So may the Spirit open the eyes of your heart today, that you would walk in the confident assurance of being His cherished inheritance, held securely by the power that has already conquered the grave.
