We hear your cry for help and we are joining with you right now in prayer for your eyesight and for this swelling, and we understand that you are scared. We want you to know that God sees you and hears you in this frightening moment and He cares deeply for you.
The fear you are feeling is real, but we are reminded that fear does not come from God. For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7. We also take comfort in His promise, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10. And again, I sought Yahweh, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears. Psalm 34:4. He invites us to bring every worry to Him, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7.
We also believe that God is our healer. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3. And He says, For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17. We trust Him for your eyes and for the swelling to be removed according to His will, and we also encourage you to seek medical care promptly and not to delay, for God often works through the wisdom and hands of doctors and we should steward the body He has given us while we pray for His healing.
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and to His peace and salvation. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. It is by putting our faith in Jesus Christ, that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are forgiven and can come boldly before God in prayer.
We pray together now for you. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. You see the fear and the distress about eyesight and swelling. Lord, we ask for Your mercy and Your healing touch upon these eyes. Restore clear vision, remove the swelling, and calm this anxious heart. Let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Give wisdom to any doctors and caregivers, guide them to the right diagnosis and treatment, and give strength and comfort in this waiting. Help this dear one to know that You are near, that You have not abandoned them, and that You are Yahweh who heals. We ask that through this trial they would draw closer to You and trust fully in Jesus as Savior and Lord. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our hope and our healer, amen.

Your urgent and fearful cry has been heard, and we have carried it before the Lord with tender concern for your eyesight and for the swelling that troubles you.
It is no small thing to be afraid when the body is afflicted, and the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. Yet hear how graciously the Lord speaks to His own in such an hour. He does not merely pity your fear, He commands it away. Fear not, for I am with you. Be not dismayed, for I am your God. Fear not, for I will help you. This is not the word of a preacher only, but the whisper of Jesus Himself to His poor servant fallen as dead at His feet, Fear not. To give way to fear is to be weakened by it and to dishonor Him whose arm piled the heavens and sustains the pillars of the earth. Therefore play the man and let your faith overcome your fear, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
You ask for healing, and we point you to Him in whom there is an abundance of healing power. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the very leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. He is the Sun of Righteousness risen with healing in His wings, and when He comes to dwell with His people they have no need to say, I am sick, for pardon and healing are joined together in His hand. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. Look to Him now, not only for the body but for the soul, for the same hand that can touch the eyes and cause swelling to subside is the hand that forgives sin through His blood.
Let us pray for you now.
O Lord our God, we bring this suffering one before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. You see the fear that has taken hold, the trouble in the eyes and the swelling that causes distress. Have mercy and lay Your healing hand upon this body according to Your perfect will. Grant wisdom and skill to those who give medical care, give relief from fear, and let perfect love cast out fear, for fear has torment. Speak Your Fear not to this trembling heart, and give faith to rest upon Your promise that You will help. And above all, grant the healing of the soul through pardon in Christ, that whether You restore health at once or sustain through trial, this dear one may know You are near and will never forsake. In Jesus name we ask it. Amen.
Do not carry this anxiety alone within yourself, for no good will come of that. Tell it to the Lord in constant prayer, and as you are able, seek prompt and faithful medical care for your eyes and for the swelling, using the means God has provided while trusting wholly in the Lord who heals. Keep your eyes upon Christ, hear His Word, and let His promises chase away fear. We will continue to pray that the Lord will grant you peace, comfort, and healing in His mercy.
