We hear the urgency and fear in your cry and we are standing with you right now lifting you up before the throne of grace together in Jesus' name, asking for God's mercy and healing power over your eyes and your sight.
We know how frightening it is to face the possibility of losing your eyesight, but we take comfort that our God sees you, He knows your fear, and He is the one who restores and heals. Psalm 146:8 says Yahweh opens the eyes of the blind, Yahweh raises up those who are bowed down. Jeremiah 30:17 says But I will restore you to health, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. And Isaiah 41:10 reminds us Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that is gripping your heart right now, for 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. We speak peace over you and we ask the Lord to guard your heart and mind as you wait on Him. We also encourage you with practical wisdom, if you have not already, please seek medical care immediately from an eye doctor or physician and follow their counsel diligently. God often works His healing through the hands of doctors and medicine, and we pray for wisdom for those caring for you.
We notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God and that our prayers are heard. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by putting our faith and trust in Jesus, believing He died for our sins and rose again, that we are reconciled to God. Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. We encourage you to call upon His name not only for healing for your eyes but for the salvation and eternal hope of your soul.
Let us pray together.
Father, we come before You together in the mighty name of Jesus and we lift up this precious one who is crying out in fear of losing their eyesight. Lord, You know their need, You know the condition of their eyes, and nothing is hidden from You. We ask for Your healing touch upon their eyes, preserve their sight according to Your will and mercy. Lay Your hand upon them, calm their fear, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Guide the doctors and give them wisdom to provide the right diagnosis and treatment. Strengthen faith where there is fear, and help this dear one to trust You fully, knowing that You are our healer and our keeper. We ask that through this trial they would draw near to Jesus and know Him as Lord and Savior. We pray all of this in the name of Jesus Christ, our hope and our healer, Amen.
We will continue to keep you in our prayers, asking God to protect your vision, to grant you peace, and to make His presence and power known to you in this difficult time. Keep seeking Him, keep trusting Him, and keep getting the medical help you need, for Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.

We hear the urgency in your cry and we are taking it seriously. Facing the fear of losing your eyesight is frightening, and it makes sense you would reach out for strong prayer right now. We are standing with you in prayer.
We want to encourage you, alongside prayer, to get prompt care from a medical professional if you have not already. If you have an eye doctor, please contact them right away or go to urgent care, and if you can, have a trusted family member or friend go with you and help keep track of what the doctors say and next steps. You do not have to carry this fear alone.
We are asking God to be near to you in these anxious hours, to give you peace, wisdom for each decision, and skilled and compassionate care from those treating you. We pray He will guide every test and treatment and hold you steady whatever comes.
Father, we lift our friend to You right now, You see their fear and love them deeply. Please draw close, calm their heart, protect them, and lead them to the help they need. Give wisdom to their doctors and strength for each moment ahead. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.

Beloved of All
Your earnest and piercing cry has been heard, and we have brought it before the Lord with strong supplication that He would be pleased to spare your eyesight and to grant you His sustaining mercy in this great trial.
You are in deep anxiety, and I would remind you that the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. Therefore I charge you, if you are indeed a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, to play the man and let your faith overcome your fear. Obey that gracious word, Casting all your care upon Him, for He careth for you. Tell your trouble to your Father, not merely to yourself, for if your anxiety is confined to yourself no good will come of it. Carry it at once to Him who invites you to cast your burden upon the Lord.
Hear also the word which the Lord speaks so often to His afflicted people, Fear not. Fear not, for I am with thee, be not dismayed, for I am thy God. Fear not, for I will help thee, saith the Lord. We must labor to get rid, as much as possible, of fear, for fear is weakening and fear dishonors God. Shall we doubt the Eternal, shall we distrust the Omnipotent whose arm piled the heavens and sustains the pillars of the earth. To be afraid when Jesus Himself whispers Fear not is to disobey His tender command. Let your heart take courage in His promise, Fear not, thou worm Jacob, I will help thee, saith the Lord.
We know that the Lord is the great Physician, and that there is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the very leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. The Sun of Righteousness arises with healing in His wings for them that fear His name. Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction, and both are bestowed upon His people. As you seek Him for the healing of the body, seek Him also for the healing of the soul, for when Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins be forgiven thee, and pardon and healing were one.
Let us pray for you now. O Lord our God, Thou who hast made the eye and who openest the eyes of the blind, look in compassion upon this trembling one who fears the loss of sight. Lay Thy healing hand upon this servant and spare, if it be Thy blessed will, the precious gift of sight. Forgive sin, heal infirmity, and let this affliction be sanctified to draw the heart nearer to Christ. Cast out all tormenting fear and give perfect trust in Thy care, that whether Thou seest fit to heal at once or to sustain through trial, Thy name may be glorified. We ask it for Jesus sake, in whose stripes there is healing. Amen.
Be diligent also to use the means which Providence affords, for we very speedily care for bodily diseases and they urge us to seek a physician, and the Lord may work through such means. Yet above all look to Jesus, the heavenly Physician, whose teaching and whose touch bring healing to body and soul. Keep your eyes, while they are spared, upon Him who never ceases to watch over you, and know that even if darkness should gather, He who is your light cannot be taken from you.
