pray against any porn*** pray for my health pray as I have been so depressed pray as I have been unwell and missed church because I was unwell will I ever get out of this pray that I can flee from sin and pray that God can help me and pray as I feel so far away from god

We have heard your cry and we are joining with you in prayer before our heavenly Father, for we care about your struggle and we do not want you to walk through this alone. You have asked for prayer against pornography, for your health, for depression, for being unwell and missing church, for fleeing from sin, and because you feel so far away from God and wonder if you will ever get out of this. We take each of these burdens to the Lord together.

We want to speak plainly and lovingly about pornography, because we love you and want you to be free. The Word of God calls us to flee from sexual immorality, not to entertain it or manage it. It says Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body 1 Corinthians 6:18. Pornography is not harmless, it defiles the mind, hardens the heart, and dishonors the body which is a temple of the Holy Spirit. We rebuke this sin in love and we urge you to turn from it completely, to make no provision for it, to remove access, to bring it into the light by confessing it to God and to a trusted mature believer who can hold you accountable, and to renew your mind daily in the Word. God promises No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it 1 Corinthians 10:13. And we are told Flee from youthful lusts, and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace 2 Timothy 2:22. There is a way of escape, and we pray you will take it every time.

We also lift up your health and your deep depression. The Lord sees your sickness and your sadness and He is not distant from you in it. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18. Jesus invites you Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28. We pray for your body to be strengthened and healed according to His will, for He forgives all your iniquities and heals all your diseases Psalm 103:3, and we pray for your mind and spirit to be lifted, for He has promised Fear not, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you Isaiah 41:10. Missing church because you were unwell is not a sin that puts you outside His grace, He knows your frame, yet we encourage you not to remain isolated, for we are told not to forsake our own assembling together Hebrews 10:25. Fellowship, worship, and the preaching of the Word are means God uses to restore us, and we pray you will be able to return soon and be encouraged there.

You asked if you will ever get out of this and you feel so far away from God. That feeling is common when sin, sickness, and discouragement weigh us down, but feeling far does not mean God has moved away. He promises Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you James 4:8. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9. We encourage you to draw near through honest confession, through daily prayer even with few words, through reading Scripture, and through crying out to Him. He is faithful to cleanse and to restore.

We noticed your request speaks of God but does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we must speak about this because it is essential. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only through Him that we are saved. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. And Scripture says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. To be forgiven and to draw near to God, we must come through Jesus, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, and trusting Him as Lord. If you have not already done so, we urge you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ for salvation, to confess your sins to Him, and to call upon His name. That is how we are reconciled to God and how our prayers are heard.

So now we pray together for you.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You for our brother or sister who is hurting. We ask You to forgive and cleanse from all sexual sin and to break the power of pornography in this life. Give a hatred for what You hate and a hunger for purity, give strength to flee and to make a way of escape, and surround this dear one with godly accountability and with Your Holy Spirit to walk in self control. Lay Your healing hand upon this body that has been unwell, restore health and strength according to Your will, and lift the heavy burden of depression. Replace despair with hope, and let Your nearness be felt. Draw this heart close to You again, let Your presence be known, and remove the sense of distance. Help this one to return to fellowship with Your people and to be built up in faith. We ask that You help to flee from all sin and to live in a way that honors You, transforming by the renewing of the mind. We pray all of this in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ, our way to You, Amen.

We encourage you to keep seeking Him daily, even when you feel weak. Open the Word, pray honestly, cut off every source of temptation, seek a pastor or mature believer to walk with you, and return to church as you are able. God is not finished with you, and by His grace you can come out of this. We are continuing to pray for you.

Thank you for being so honest with us about where you are. We hear how heavy this feels, wanting to flee from porn and sin, feeling unwell and missing church, feeling depressed and far from God, and wondering if you will ever get out of this. We are praying with you and you are not alone in that struggle.

When we feel low and unwell for a while, it is very common to also feel distant from God, as if He has pulled away. That feeling can be so painful, but it does not mean He has left you. Often the way back is not one big moment but small, steady steps over time, like training rather than trying all at once.

If it would help, here are a couple gentle next steps to consider alongside prayer. Since you have been unwell and feeling so low, it may be good to see your doctor to talk through how you have been feeling physically and emotionally. And since you missed church and feel far away, would you let one trusted person there know you have been unwell and would value prayer? You do not have to fight the temptation alone either, having one mature, same-sex believer or pastor to be honest with can make fleeing sin more possible.

Father, we lift our brother to You in Jesus' name. You see his desire to walk in purity, his health and weariness, and his lonely feeling of distance. Draw near to him, give him strength for today, wisdom for each next step, and help and hope from Your presence and Your people. Amen.

Your low and sorrowful cry has been heard, and it is a good thing that you have poured it out honestly before the Lord. To feel far from God, to be depressed in spirit, to be unwell in body and therefore kept from the assembly of His people, and to be beset with sin that you would flee from, this is a heavy burden indeed. Yet your very longing to find God is itself a sign that He has not forgotten you.

Hear this truth for your comfort, that the living God is not far from any one of us, for in Him we live and move and have our being. You feel far away, but feeling is not the measure. Our nearness to God is not by our frames or our feelings, but by blood through our union with Christ. Jesus is Himself God, and as Man without spot or blemish, having finished the work given Him to do and having gone up to Heaven, He is near to God in person and in acceptance. And those who are one with Him must be near also. We come near to God in prayer at the Mercy Seat, and we never get to God in prayer unless it is through pleading the precious blood. So come as you are, not as you would be.

Your only safe course, and may the Spirit of God grant you grace to follow it, is to come to God as you actually are, and ask Him to deal with you in Christ Jesus according to your actual condition. Do not try to make yourself out to be righteous, but be shut up to come as a sinner. When you say with a true heart, God be merciful to me a sinner, though you dare not lift up your eyes to Heaven, the eyes of Heaven look down on you. There must be a laying aside of all insincerity, a dealing with God in truth, before the gracious God can put away iniquity. Sincerity is indispensable to mercy. If you can live without your God it would look as if you never were His child, but you cannot. Your desire to flee from sin, and from that defiling sin of pornography which stains the soul and dishonours the body which is the temple of the Holy Ghost, is a right and holy desire. Flee it, as you would flee from a serpent. Turn from it, look to Jesus on the Cross, and by that look live. He gives power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name, and that power is to forsake sin and to walk in holiness.

For your health and your heaviness of spirit, remember that Heaven is the abode of Jesus and Jesus is the Tree of Life, and the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. This medicine heals all sorts of diseases. Some of us know it right well and can bear glad witness to its matchless power. When the worst has come to the worst, then did God arise and lay bare His arm and bring deliverance for His people. Is not this a general rule with God, and is it not a truth fraught with comfort to any whose day has darkened down into a sevenfold midnight. Job himself, tried with great bodily pain and depression of spirit, could say through Divine Grace, I have not turned away from God. So may you. To miss the gathering of the saints through infirmity is not to be cast away. The Lord knows your frame and sees your sick bed. He that comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. Seek Him still, in private prayer, in the Word, and as soon as strength allows, with His people again.

Let us pray for you now.

O Lord our God, look upon this afflicted one who confesses sin and longs to be near. Wash away all sin in the precious blood of Christ, and give faith to lay hold on Jesus as the only way to the Father. Grant power to flee from all impurity and to walk in purity of heart and life. Lay Thy healing hand upon the body, ease depression of spirit, and lift up the light of Thy countenance. Teach this soul to draw near with confidence through the blood, and to find Thee not far but very near in Christ. Restore health if it be Thy will, restore joy, and keep this one from despair, for all things work together for good to them that love God. Hear this prayer for Jesus sake, and let the seeking soul surely find Thee. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Thank you for sharing so honestly about what you are carrying. We have heard your request and we are praying for you.

You asked for prayer against pornography and for help to flee from sin. God hears that desire and He honors it. Scripture says no temptation has taken you but what is common to everyone, and God is faithful. He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, but with the temptation He will also make a way of escape so that you can endure it. That way often means turning away quickly, removing what causes stumbling, filling your mind with what is pure, and calling on Christ for strength in the moment. God did not make you to be trapped. The struggle comes from our own weakness and choices, which also means by His grace you can learn self restraint. You are not without hope or without help. While you are still here in this life, you can renew the fight and by His power you can overcome.

We are also praying for your health and for the heaviness and depression you feel, and for the discouragement of having missed church because you were unwell. The Lord sees you and He is not distant even when you feel far from Him. Feeling far does not mean He has moved away from you. He draws near to the brokenhearted and He uses even times of tribulation to build endurance and strength in us. Missing gathering when you are ill is not a failure He holds against you. He knows your body and your sorrow. As you are able, keep seeking Him in prayer and in His Word, and return to fellowship when you can, even if you need to tell a pastor or a trusted believer how you are doing so they can support you.

We are praying for you now:

Father, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You know the battle against temptation and the desire to be clean and to flee from sin. Grant strength, a clear way of escape, and a renewed mind. Heal what is unwell in body and bring comfort to a depressed and weary heart. Lift the sense of distance and show Your nearness and mercy. Give hope that this season will not last forever, and help each day to walk in Your grace and truth. Bring restoration, peace, and joy in Your presence, and draw this heart closer to You. Amen.

Please keep reaching out, keep praying even with simple honest words, and keep staying in the Scriptures. If depression continues to weigh heavily, please also speak with a pastor or a trusted Christian counselor and, for health needs, a medical provider. You are not alone, and God is able to help you and to carry you through this.

Thank you for sharing so honestly about what you are carrying. We have prayed for you, and we want you to know that God has heard you.

Feeling far from God does not mean you are beyond His reach. Through Jesus Christ the way has been opened for you to come directly to God. At the cross the veil that kept people out of His presence was torn from top to bottom, so that those who were once far off can now be brought near. Scripture invites you to come boldly to the throne of grace to find mercy and help in time of need. That invitation is for you right now, even in weakness and discouragement.

The struggle you describe with temptation is real, and it is important to know that God is not the source of it. God cannot be tempted with evil and He does not tempt anyone to sin. Temptation comes as a solicitation to evil that whispers that God is holding you back and that you can find immediate fulfillment if you step off His path. That is the same lie spoken to Eve, that fulfillment was right there in what God had forbidden. In truth every good and perfect gift comes down from above, from the Father of lights who does not change. What God gives is good, and what temptation offers is a counterfeit that leaves emptiness and guilt.

You asked if you will ever get out of this, and if you can flee from sin. The answer of the gospel is yes, because of what God has done for you in Christ. The Bible says that those who are in Christ have died to sin and their life is hidden with Christ in God. Grace does not mean we should keep living in sin. It means we have been given a new identity. We will still feel the pull of the flesh while we are in these bodies, and temptation will be there, but you do not have to be mastered by it. You can make the choice to reckon yourself dead to sin and alive to God, to say by faith, I have been crucified with Christ and I do not have to yield to this.

God also sees your sickness, your depression, and the heaviness of missing fellowship. He is not distant when you are unwell. He is the God who cares for you when you are sick in bed, who notices your tears and hears your voice when you cry out. He has not promised to keep us from every problem or trial in this life, but He has promised to be with us in every trial. It is right to be honest with Him. Tell Him your soul is cast down and disquieted, tell Him you feel low and far away. He invites that honesty.

If you feel far off, hear His word to those who are far off. He says, peace, peace to him who is far off and to him who is near, I will heal him. That is His heart toward you. There is no one who has gone too far to be forgiven and restored. Scripture tells of a king who went as far as anyone could go away from God, and yet when he humbled himself and prayed, God heard him and restored him. That story is there to show that no one is beyond hope when they turn to the Lord.

Unbelief keeps us from the blessings God wants to give, and unbelief often comes from looking at ourselves and at how impossible the situation feels. Faith comes from looking at God, remembering who He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Without faith it is impossible to please Him, but when you turn your eyes to Him, even with weak faith, He meets you.

So keep coming to Him. When temptation comes, flee from it and run to Christ. Do not stay and argue with it. Call upon the Lord in that moment, remember you are dead to that old life and alive to God, and ask Him for help. And when you feel depressed and unwell, keep remembering Him and resting in the fact that He has dealt bountifully with you in Christ, that He has delivered your soul from death and will keep your feet from falling.

We are praying for your health, for strength against temptation, for lifting of the depression, and for God to draw you close and give you peace. He who began a good work in you is faithful, and He will not leave you where you are.
