Disciple of Prayer
Jesus prayer for my ### that she enjoys her gymnastics! I pray that she has a good time . I pray for my hair lord . I have lost so much hair the last year . Please restore it all back so I am able to style it and feel confortable going out

We join you in bringing these heartfelt requests before our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus, and we thank you for calling upon His name, for there is no other name by which we can approach God and be saved as we read in Acts 4:12 and John 14:6.

We lift up your precious girl to the Lord and we pray that He will fill her time in gymnastics with joy, safety, and a sense of His delight in her. Children are a gift from the Lord as Psalm 127:3 reminds us, and we pray she will use the strength and ability God has given her to glorify Him, doing all things heartily as for the Lord as Colossians 3:23 teaches and whatever you do, do all to the glory of God as 1 Corinthians 10:31 says. We pray she will have a good time, that she will be protected from injury, that she will show kindness and good sportsmanship, and that through this activity she will grow in confidence, discipline and joy in the Lord.

We also lift you up concerning the loss of your hair this past year and the discomfort you feel when going out. We know the Lord sees this burden and cares deeply about it, for He tells us in Luke 12:7 that even the very hairs of your head are all numbered, and in 1 Peter 5:7 we are told to cast all our worries on him, because he cares for you. We understand how this affects how you feel about being seen and about styling your hair, and we pray for your healing and restoration according to His will.

We also want to gently encourage you with what God says about true beauty and worth. While we pray for restoration, we remember that God looks at the heart rather than outward appearance as 1 Samuel 16:7 teaches, and that our beauty should not be just outward adorning but the hidden person of the heart in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit which is very precious in the sight of God as 1 Peter 3:3-4 says. You are fearfully and wonderfully made as Psalm 139:14 declares, and your value is secure in Christ regardless of outward change. We encourage you to continue to bring this anxiety to Him in prayer, for Philippians 4:6-7 promises that when we make our requests known to God the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard our hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus and we thank You for this dear loved one and for her daughter. Lord we ask that You bless this young gymnast, keep her safe, let her enjoy every moment, give her joy and laughter and friendships that honor You, and help her to do her best for Your glory. And Father we lift up our sister who has lost so much hair and feels uncomfortable and self conscious. You know her sorrow and You count every hair. We ask in Your mercy that You would restore what has been lost if it be Your will, bring healing to her body, and above all restore her confidence and comfort and peace. Help her to see herself as You see her, loved, cherished and beautifully made, and give her freedom to go out with joy and without fear. Provide wisdom for any medical help she may need and let her find her strength and identity in Christ. We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, our Savior and hope, amen.

We heard your heart in these two prayers and we are holding them with you before the Lord.

We love that your first thought is for your girl to simply enjoy gymnastics and have a good time. That kind of joy matters so much, and we are asking Jesus to give her lightness and confidence when she is there, and peace for you as you cheer her on.

And we hear how heavy the hair loss has been this past year, how it affects feeling comfortable going out and being yourself. It makes sense that when something so visible changes, it can shake how we feel about ourselves and being around others. You are not alone in feeling that way, and God sees both the outward struggle and the inward weariness it brings.

Alongside prayer, it would be wise to share what you are experiencing with your doctor or primary care provider who can look into it with you. We will keep praying for wisdom for them and for comfort and strength for you day by day.

Father, in Jesus name we bring this girl and her mom to you. Give the little one joy in her gymnastics and let her feel safe and delighted there. Comfort her mom, ease her worry about her hair, and guide her to good care. Remind her she is loved and seen by you, and give her peace to go out with confidence in your care. Amen.

Your prayers for your daughter and for yourself have been brought before the Lord and we join you in bringing them to His throne of grace.

We pray for your daughter, that the Lord in His kindness would grant her joy in her gymnastics, that she would have a good time, be kept safe, and use the strength and ability God has given her with a cheerful and thankful heart. What a mercy that our God cares for the small things that concern His children. As it has been said, the very leaves of the tree of life are for healing, and the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. He who numbers the hairs of our heads is not unmindful of a child's delight in her pursuits.

We pray also for you in your distress over the loss of your hair. We understand how this touches your comfort and confidence in going out, and we ask the Lord, who is the great Physician, to show His healing power toward you. We ask that if it be His gracious will, He would restore what has been lost and grant you health and strength again, and give you peace to style your hair and to go forth without fear or shame. We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they urge us to seek the Physician, and there is no sickness, whether of body or of soul, that is beyond the reach of His love. The utmost length of human sickness can be reached by this great Physician.

Yet we pray above all that you would know the deeper healing that Christ gives. Healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction in Him. When Jesus healed, He often said, your sins are forgiven you, showing that pardon and healing are one in His hand. He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds, and He changes the life blood and makes the nature new. May you find your comfort not only in outward restoration, but in the assurance that you are forgiven, loved, and kept in Christ, whose leaves never wither.

We ask the Lord to grant you hope and confidence as you look to Him, to ease your anxiety, and to help you to rest in His wise and loving providence for both body and soul. May He give you grace to trust Him day by day, to know that you are fearfully and wonderfully made, and that your worth in His sight is not measured by outward appearance but by His steadfast love toward you in Jesus Christ.

We commend you and your daughter to Him now, praying that He would grant joy, health, and peace according to His perfect will, and that you would experience His healing presence in every need. In the name of Jesus our Healer and Redeemer we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
