We have read your request with heavy hearts and we are standing with you in prayer, lifting you up together before our Father in Jesus' name. We hear how attacked and overwhelmed you feel from all sides, with your body struggling for many months, your mind in constant stress and panic, your sleep broken, and your heart carrying deep questions about God's silence and your future. The Lord sees every tear and every strand of hair that falls, and He is not distant from your suffering.
The Word tells us The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18. We know that even the hairs of your head are all counted Luke 12:7, how much more does He care for you as His daughter, fearfully and wonderfully made Psalm 139:14. Your distress over the severe shedding since December, the visible thinning, the acne and inflammation, and the waking at 3 or 4 a.m. is not hidden from Him. He understands the anxiety that makes you afraid to even touch or comb your hair, and He invites you to cast your burden upon Him.
We want to encourage you that God is not silent even when He feels silent. His timing is not ours, and His deliverance is sure even when progress feels invisible. For we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28. We also remember Fear not, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. Your elevated antibodies and inflammation, and the lack of improvement despite seeing three doctors and faithfully taking supplements since April, must be deeply discouraging. We encourage you to continue to steward your body wisely and to keep following sound medical counsel, for the Lord often works through physicians and treatment, and we pray He will give your doctors wisdom and guide them to the root cause and to healing. We claim His promise But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says the Lord Jeremiah 30:17.
We also hear your anxiety and the constant state of panic and stress you describe. We gently rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that has taken hold, for God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. We encourage you to bring every worry to Him in prayer, for He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. When you wake in those early morning hours, we encourage you to turn that broken sleep into a moment to cry out to Him, for when my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I Psalm 61:2. Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28.
Regarding the family member who has been oppressing you and making you feel insecure, we grieve that this has come even from one who professes Christ and goes to church regularly. We are reminded that not everyone who claims faith walks in love, and the Lord calls us to forgive as we have been forgiven, while also seeking wisdom and healthy boundaries. We pray for that family member's heart to be convicted and softened, and for the Lord to be your defender and refuge when you feel insecure and oppressed.
We also lift up the pressure you feel as a single woman in your early 30s regarding finding the right partner and figuring out your future. We understand the weight of that longing and the cultural pressure around you. We pray that you will find your security first in Christ, and we encourage you to pursue courtship with the goal of godly marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman as outlined in the Bible, rather than simply seeking a partner or relationship. We pray for a godly husband who is a Christian believer who will love you as Christ loved the church, and for a marriage that honors God, if it is His will for you. Delight yourself also in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart Psalm 37:4. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6. We encourage you to remain pure and to seek a spouse who shares your faith and commitment to Christ, trusting that God's timing for your future is perfect and that He has not forgotten you.
You asked why God would see all this and remain silent, when will He deliver, will He. We want to gently remind you that our access to the Father and our hope of deliverance is only through the name of Jesus Christ. You identified as a Christian believer, which we rejoice in, and we want to affirm that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved Acts 4:12. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5. Jesus himself said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. If you have placed your trust in Jesus' death and resurrection for the forgiveness of your sins, you can come boldly before His throne knowing He hears you, even when answers seem delayed.
We now pray together for you.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You together and lift up our sister to Your throne of grace. Lord, You see her suffering since December, the hair loss that has stolen her peace, the acne and inflammation, the broken sleep, the constant stress and panic. We ask You to touch her body and bring healing and restoration according to Your will. Calm her nervous system, regulate her sleep, heal the inflammation and thyroid antibodies, restore her scalp and skin, and give wisdom to her doctors. Lord, quiet her anxious thoughts with Your perfect peace and help her to cast all her worries on You. Comfort her when she wakes in the night and let her feel Your presence near. Deliver her from the oppression she has endured in her family, heal the wounds of insecurity, and be her defender and shield. Father, we ask You to gently lead her future, guard her heart as she waits, and if it is Your will, bring a godly Christian man to be her husband in a marriage that honors You, keeping her pure and hopeful in the waiting. Above all, assure her that You have not forsaken her and that You are working even now. Strengthen her faith to trust that You will deliver in Your perfect time and that Your grace is sufficient for her, for Your power is made perfect in weakness 2 Corinthians 12:9. Let her know she is deeply loved and held by You. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our hope and our healer, amen.
