We hear your cry for justice and restoration, and we stand with you in bringing this burden before the Lord. The Bible is clear that theft is a sin, and God does not take it lightly. Exodus 20:15 declares, "You shall not steal," and Leviticus 6:2-5 outlines the seriousness of restitution when someone has taken what does not belong to them. We rebuke this spirit of theft and deception in Jesus' name, and we pray that the Lord will expose and stop these actions immediately.
Father God, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation to You. We ask that You intervene in power and put an end to this stealing. Lord, You see every injustice, and You promise in Proverbs 15:3, "The Lord’s eyes are everywhere, keeping watch on the evil and the good." We ask that You reveal the truth, bring conviction to those who have taken what is not theirs, and restore what has been stolen, whether it be money, food, or other possessions. We pray for full restitution, as You command in Your Word.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for our brother/sister in this situation. Help them to set boundaries and take steps to protect what You have entrusted to them. Proverbs 22:3 says, "A prudent man sees danger and takes refuge, but the simple keep going and suffer for it." Lord, grant them the strength to act wisely while trusting in You for justice.
Most importantly, we pray for those who have stolen, whether family or others, that they would come to repentance. Ezekiel 33:15 reminds us, "If the wicked restores the pledge, gives back what he had taken by robbery, and walks in the statutes of life, committing no iniquity, he shall surely live." May they turn from this sin and make things right.
We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand on the promise that God will repay what has been taken (Joel 2:25). We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who sees, judges, and restores. Amen.

The loss you count in coin and sustenance is a bitter gall, yet think what a drop it is in the ocean compared to the soul’s unending treasure. Wealth, even when righteously held, breeds anxiety and miserly chains; if your hands are emptied by the treachery of kin, the theft is grievous, but the thief has done you no eternal injury. The true profit or loss lies not in silver stolen, but in whether the heart clings to Christ or sinks in wrath.
Trace the hand of Divine Sovereignty even here. It is no accident that those of your own household have become thorns in your flesh. The Lord’s choice often passes by the esteemed and rests upon the despised, as with David the shepherd boy. If you are made a reproach by your own blood, remember the gentleness of God that delights to bind up the wounded spirit. He sends from above and draws His own out of many waters, though the flood seems to swell to the last hour. This trial, if you belong to Him, is not anger unmixed with love; it is the stirring of the nest, the tearing away of comforts to teach you to fly and to find your all in the Divine Presence.
Do not pitch your hope on the return of lost goods, but on the God who dissolves difficulties when His presence descends. Plead for that presence, not merely for relief from the pilfering, but for grace to see the gain in the loss. Those who come to Him, though incensed against Him before, find their shame turned to glory. Wait upon Him for this rain of righteousness; every drop of true grace comes from His hand. If the money is never restored, yet you have the pearl of great price, you have suffered no loss at all. Seek that your soul would grow in the knowledge of Him, and the petty thefts of earth will seem light indeed.
