Beloved of All
My dad ### got home from hospital. Hope he not get infected or he may die as he had surgery. My mum ###, hope gives me enough time to do what is needed to be done; chores and her online work tasks, for once; (long story; but I help her with her jobs), but help me not mess up again with that and unrelated other things; she is extremely controlling, picky, and strict; worried about what I will do next; she says (don’t know if she means it or what) couldn’t be working online at all, as my dad needs us more, hope she does mean it, but also hope she doesn’t stop every job forever. Hope my parents and I don’t get the cold, flu or worse.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your family in this time of concern and uncertainty. Father God, we ask for Your healing hand to rest upon your father as he recovers from surgery. Protect him from infection and any complications, Lord, and grant him strength and comfort in the days ahead. We pray that You would surround him with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Heavenly Father, we also lift up your mother, who carries the weight of responsibility in this season. Give her wisdom and grace as she balances her work, the care of your father, and the needs of the household. We ask that You would soften her heart and help her to extend patience and understanding, not only to your father but also to you. Lord, we know that her controlling nature may stem from fear or a desire to maintain order, but we pray that You would help her to trust in Your provision and to release some of that burden. Teach her to lean not on her own understanding but to acknowledge You in all her ways, that You may direct her paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We recognize the tension in this situation, Lord, and we ask for Your guidance. Help your mother to find a balance between caring for your father and allowing you to assist in ways that honor both her needs and yours. Give her discernment to know when to step back and when to step in, and grant her the grace to communicate her expectations clearly and lovingly. We pray that she would not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, she will reap if she does not give up (Galatians 6:9).

Father, we also ask for protection over your entire family, shield them from illness, whether it be the cold, flu, or anything more serious. Strengthen their immune systems and guard their health, Lord. We know that You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1), and we trust in Your power to sustain them.

Lord, we must also address the struggle you face in feeling controlled and overwhelmed. We pray that You would give you the strength to honor your mother while also setting healthy boundaries. Help you to communicate with kindness and respect, even when it is difficult. Remind you that a gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger (Proverbs 15:1). We ask that You would fill you with Your peace, so that you may respond in a way that honors both your mother and Your Heavenly Father.

We also lift up any "unrelated other things" that may be causing you to stumble or feel inadequate. Father, we ask that You would reveal any areas of your life that need correction or repentance. Help you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love (Ephesians 4:1-2). If there are habits, attitudes, or actions that are not pleasing to You, we pray that You would convict you and lead you into righteousness.

Lord, we know that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to You. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that if you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, that You would do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). We pray that You would draw near to God, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8).

Father, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Strengthen this family, Lord, and knit their hearts together in love. May they find their hope and trust in You alone, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We commit this family into Your hands, trusting that You will guide them, protect them, and provide for them in every way. Amen.

We're holding your family close in our hearts today. It's a lot to carry when someone we love is recovering and we're all trying to figure out how to help without stepping on each other's toes. We pray that your dad would feel God's healing presence so strongly, that any fear of infection or complications would fade in the face of His peace. May God give him restful sleep and little victories to celebrate each day.

And for your mom, who's juggling so much right now, we're asking God to give her moments of grace and patience. It's easy to get caught up in making sure everything is just so when we're afraid, but we're praying she'd feel God's gentle reminder that she doesn't have to carry it all alone. Maybe God would help you both find little ways to give her a break, even if it's just a kind word or a cup of tea when she needs it most.

As for you, we're asking God to help you navigate this season with wisdom and a heart that honors both your parents. It's tough when we feel controlled, but maybe God can help us respond in a way that opens doors instead of closing them. We're asking for His strength to be that steady presence in your family, keeping everyone healthy and grounded in faith.

Father, we lift this family to You today. Surround them with Your love and protection. Heal your dad completely, strengthen your mom’s heart, and give each of them the grace to walk through this together. Thank You for being their refuge and strength.

In Jesus’ name we pray.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We want to thank you for trusting us with your prayer requests and allowing us to stand in agreement with you before the Lord. Our hearts have been lifting up your father’s health, asking God to protect him from infection and grant him a full and swift recovery after his surgery. We continue to pray for strength and wisdom for you and your mother as you care for him and manage the responsibilities at home.

We’ve been asking the Lord to give your mother grace in this season—peace in her heart, patience in her tasks, and clarity in her decisions. May He soften any tension and help you both work together in harmony, even amid the pressures you’ve described. We’ve also been praying for protection over your household, that none of you would fall ill with cold, flu, or anything worse, and that God would guard your health as you serve one another.

If the Lord has already answered any of these prayers—whether through improved health, smoother days, or moments of unexpected peace—we would love to hear about it so we can praise Him together. If the needs remain, please know we are still here to lift them up. We’ll keep praying for God’s provision, protection, and wisdom to surround you and your family.

May He draw near to you in this time, fill you with His peace, and remind you of His faithfulness. We ask all these things in Jesus’ Name.
