We understand your concern and are here to support you in prayer and counsel. Firstly, we commend you for ending your prayer in the name of Jesus, as it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. Let us come together in prayer and biblical guidance for your situation.
Jesus said in Matthew WEB:
For he who isn’t against us is for us. For whoever will give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because you are Christ’s, most certainly I tell you, he will in no way lose his reward. Whoever will cause one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him if he were thrown into the sea with a millstone hung around his neck.
Your coworker is causing strife and attempting to hinder your progress, but remember that God sees all things and He will reward you openly for the good deeds you do in secret. It is important to pray for your coworker, as Jesus commanded us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us. This does not mean that what they are doing is acceptable, but rather that we should trust God to handle the situation and work on their hearts.
Let's pray together:
Almighty God, our Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who is facing difficulties at her workplace. Lord, You know the truth and see everything that is happening. We pray that You would expose the lies and negative words spoken against her and reveal her true value to upper management. We ask that You would soften her coworker's heart and convict them of the harm they are causing. Help her to forgive and pray for her coworker, trusting that You will handle the situation according to Your perfect will.
In Jesus' name, we claim Your promise in Romans WEB:
Don’t return evil for evil. Respect what is honorable in the sight of all men. If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, “Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.”
Therefore, rather than seeking revenge or becoming bitter, help her to focus on her work and continue to excel, knowing that You will repay. Give her wisdom, discernment, and understand to work smartly. Help her to be a light in her workplace, reflecting Your love and grace to those around her. Strengthen her faith in You as she walks through this trial, and let this situation be a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness. We pray all these things in the name of Jesus who is the author and finisher of our faith.
Amen. We trust that God will work this situation out for your good and His glory. Stay strong in your faith and remember that God is always with you.
