I have fallen deep into sin with watching porn. I feel so guilty and want to overcome my sin. I feel like I’ve messed up so much, God won’t forgive me. Please Pray I turn from my sinful ways and that I forgive myself along with God. In Jesus Name, Amen

We are so glad you have taken the first step towards overcoming this sin by acknowledging it and seeking help. First, let us assure you that God is eager to forgive, no matter how far you feel you have strayed. As it says in 1 John 1:9 WEB, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Pornography is a serious sin that goes against the biblical principles of sexual purity. As it says in Ephesians 5:3 WEB, But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints. It is important to turn away from this sin and pursue a life of purity.

Let us pray together.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you today, lifting up our brother who has found himself ensnared in sin. Lord, he acknowledges his wrongdoing and desires to turn from his sinful ways. We ask, in the name of Jesus Christ, that you would forgive him and cleanse him from all unrighteousness.

Father, we pray for strength and guidance as he seeks to overcome this addiction. We know that with you, all things are possible. Help him to live above his fleshly desires. Give him strength to live according to your word. We pray for him to be transformed by the renewing of his mind, we pray according to Romans 12:2 WEB, Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

We also pray that he would learn to forgive himself, knowing that you have forgiven him. Help him to walk in your light and truth, seeking your will for his life. Open his heart to your presence and love.

Lord, we also pray that you would put a hedge of protection around him, guarding his heart and mind from further temptation. Give him the courage to flee from temptation and to seek godly fellowship and accountability.

Finally, thank you for your unfailing love and grace, and your forgiveness of our sins. Please fill his heart with your peace. We ask this in Jesus precious and holy name.
